Happy birthday Bucky!!! That is a cute request!! I'm gonna go with first home run because it's giving me ideas!

When Bucky was a teenager he was very athletic.

Not only did he do boxing but he also was on his school's baseball team.

Baseball was something he loved, something he and Steve bonded over as it was one of the few things from back from his time that was still around.

And when he met you, got married and had kids, he knew he wanted to teach his kids how to throw a ball and swing a bat.

Your husband and daughter were playing catch early on and he even got her one of those plastic kid's bats to play with.

As she got older he got her a nice mitt and baseball.

It didn't matter to him that she was a girl- back in the 40's women were recruited to play baseball and some of them were better than any man he ever met.

And if she wanted to play baseball, he was going to advocate for her relentlessly.

Which is what happens when she tries out for the little league and he has to go Papa Bear on the coach.

She ends up on the team, to no one's surprise.

She has a few hits and misses, just like everyone else. But in the middle of the season, they have probably the greatest game of all time- at least according to Bucky.

It's during that game that Bucky Barnes' little girl hits her first home run.

She was being haggled by some of the boys on the opposing team, causing her to miss the first few times.

Bucky could see how frustrating she was getting, and when she looked up at him he gave her a warm smile and mouthed, "you got this sweetie."

She gave him a small smile and nodded, and her next swing? The ball went flying.

Everyone was cheering as she ran to each base, Bucky standing up and cheering her on like you hadn't seen before.

He had more enthusiasm than when he was watching the Yankees.

She reached home and Bucky laughed, a big grin spreading across his lips as he ran out to the field to pick his little girl up and hug her tight.

"I'm so proud of you, honey."
