Three Months In, Feeling Like a Beast (Minus the Roar - Yet!)

Remember me? Three months ago, I was the king of comfort tees and the master of procrastination when it came to anything resembling "exercise." Pizza was my kryptonite, and the gym felt like a foreign land.

But something shifted. Maybe it was the nagging feeling that I wanted to feel, you know, alive again. Maybe it was the whispers of a stronger, healthier me calling from somewhere deep within. Whatever it was, I decided to take a leap.

Three months later, I'm not unrecognizable (although, my arms are definitely starting to give that impression!), but the change is real. I traded in my couch-potato status for late night walks along the harbour. I discovered the magic of the gym and the surprisingly addictive.

It hasn't been easy. There were days when the snooze button seemed like my best friend, and cravings for takeout threatened to derail my entire progress. But every time I pushed through, every time I finished a workout feeling even slightly stronger than before, it was like a victory lap for my inner warrior.

This journey isn't just about physical transformation (although, I'm not gonna lie, I'm loving the way my favorite T-shirt fits now!). It's about rediscovering my power, my resilience, and the sheer joy of moving my body. It's about proving to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to, one squat, one mile, one healthy meal at a time.

So, to all the guys out there contemplating their own fitness journey, I say this: Take the leap! Every stumble is a step closer to your goal. Every bead of sweat is a testament to your strength. And every victory, big or small, is a reason to celebrate.

My Progress Journey - breaking bad habits/triggers - day 32/66 days is the time it takes to truly be rid of bad habits and triggers.

Exercise the mindset, do things that make you happy, find a positive outlet for letting out frustrations,I no longer carry my past with me, what I sepressed has surfaced and I’m dealing with it one day at a time, it no longer has that power over me.I’m laying each piece as foundation below me, rebuilding myself from everything I survived. Today i realised what’s behind me thinks it destroyed me, and in all honesty for a long time it did, it destroyed a phase of me yes, but it did not DEFEAT me.This version of me that I’m working on is a combonation of lessons learnt, & how to be grateful for the chance to do this right - walk this path of purpose and conviction, so let me reintroduce myself, please get to know the “face lift” version of me. Same person, upgraded, reprogrammed, addional extras - updated like: faith, mindset, positivity and determination to succeed in being MY BEST SELF!!!!
