• once they got together, phryne would miss him if he was out of state for work so she would snug his pillow

• also mr butler knows jack's comfort and favourite foods

• dot and hugh adopted phryne and jack as their kids' aunt and uncle

• aunt prudence and mac are protective of phryne and jack's relationship

• aunt prudence approves of jack as a partner for phryne and wishes phrynes father was more like jack

When things don't go according to plan, and John Andrews dies quite unexpectedly (although his wife might disagree - she quite expected him to die), Aunt Prudence volunteers herself and Phryne, her newly arrived niece from London, to take over the charity soiree, initially organized by Lydia Andrews (the happy widow/drug lord). Anyway, things still don't go as planned.
