05/01/23: A hundred dollar thrift store haul. Went to Salvation Army Store today, Monday. I missed out on tub full of legos cause I chose a box full of donated Disney blurays. And as I was going through them, a lady handed me something she saw, a box with a ps3 in it! It's loose but almost complete, as I couldn't find a power plug. It's a CECHL01 ps3. So no ps2 playback. It also came with a separate controller charger. And two controllers. I also found a 7-11 ps5 reusable bag. So I used that to put movies in it. There was quite a bit of animated titles, but their dvd half was kinda scratched up. Looks like the kid who watched them before, used the dvds more than the blurays. I left quite a few of them behind. Also, because I own them already too. The ones I chose here were in better conditions, and a few are multi discs. So I'll check to see which versions to keep. I also picked up toys. Some loose Lego pieces, dolls and plushies, which I'll sell off later on. It's a happy day to start the month.

Is The Quarry a prequel of Until Dawn? Here's my opinion.

No. At least, not from both games being too different,

Differences:

Until Dawn is based on Josh leading everybody back into meeting a year after Hannah and Beth died, because Josh wanted to get 'revenge' on his friends for "killing his sisters."

It first started with a murderer, unlike The Quarry, and the werewolf's bites doesn't really affect the player from what I've played, unlike The Quarry.

Although the games both share some similar moments, they are very different.

The Quarry is based on Jacob damaging the minivan to get one more night with Emma, causing the camp counselors to be bitten, killed, etc.

In The Quarry, when you're bitten, your wounds will heal in a matter of time, and then the infected bite will spread, causing the player to turn into a werewolf.

Until Dawn on the other hand is the opposite, wound doesn't heal, and you probably will not turn into a werewolf.

If anybody thinks other wise, feel free to comment your opinions.

Configure RPCS3

1. Once we have downloaded this system from the RPCS3 internet site, the next part to do is to install the PlayStation three firmware update.
