Sunday blessings, friends! How can I pray for you this week? 🙏💗 We’ve all faced situations that we dread. Sometimes our fears are based on genuine threats that can’t be ignored, and sometimes they’re conjectured based on the scars of the past. Sometimes these situations mean venturing out of our home turf into less than friendly territory. Sometimes it means sitting in a place dimmed by snares, attacks, and loss. But wherever you’re going and whatever you’ve been through, God will work things in your favor and clear a path to prosper the harvest for his kingdom if you trust in him to do the heavy lifting. All you have to do is show up. Maybe it’s because today marks another trip around the sun for me. Maybe it’s because the TN Vols might actually have a decent season for the first time in 15 years (and I’m not even a sports fan). But God has been urging me to share this message of good news with you today. You were created for a good and godly reason. To be God’s image bearer. A light in the darkness. So keep trusting him. And keep showing up. Even if you haven’t had a win in years, God is making a way to lead you onto higher ground. So keep trusting him and keep showing up. And when it is time to make a change to step out into the plans he has for you, God will open up doors that the enemy can’t shut. So keep trusting him and keep showing up. Because even in the moments when showing up feels painful and scary, you will never be forsaken by the one who holds you, watches over you, and created you for his glory. from where does my help come?

Lord, i confess, when the clouds darken the sky and i can't see Your light i struggle to believe even though i know Your promise to never leave. When my heart is broken i wonder how i can be made whole. When i've been unfaithful i question how You can be faithful to me. When i've sinned again & again i can't comprehend how You can forgive me so quickly. When i desire death, still my life remains. How do You do this? Give me hope that propels me beyond my disappointment. Shower me with love and lift my soul from death's shadow. You give me sight to see Your invisible hand holding me still. How do You sustain me when i have no will to carry on? By the power of Your Word & Holy Spirit You renew my mind & transform my heart. Your ocean of grace covers me, Christ's atonement is sufficient always. This is the hope i possess: when the darkness has set over me, the light will win. night will turn to morning. i will know of joy again. so, i resolve to fight until He brings me safely home.

Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, observed the truth that the God of Israel is above all gods.Throughout History, God has demonstrated that He is greater than any person or any situation. The psalmist could confidently sing, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth" (Psalm121:1). God Himself declares, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" (Jeremiah 32:27).

If you are fearful about someone or some threatening situation, remember where your help comes from. Our God is above all else.The God who delivered Moses out of the hand of the Pharaoh, will deliver you as well.
