Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle. Psalm 144:1 We are in a spiritual battle. The enemy is out to destroy us. But we are not ignorant of his devices” (2 Corinthians 2:11)  And you need to know that he isn’t omnipotent; he has been defeated by Jesus and stripped of all authority and power. Neither is he omniscient or omnipresent, he walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). So, how do you resist the enemy? You do it by faith alone! Simply come to Jesus, stand firm on His word and Jesus will fight your battle, therefore you definitely are on the winning side.

Falling through the skies and holding onto you for life I'd clip my wings for you  If I was to die, I don't care if we're eye-to-eye I'd clip my wings for you

1 I will exalt You, Lord,
for You lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
2 Lord my God, I called to You for help,
and You healed me.
3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;
You spared me from going down to the pit.
4 Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;
praise His holy name.
5 For His anger lasts only a moment,
but His favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.
6 When I felt secure, I said,
“I will never be shaken.”
7 Lord, when You favored me,
You made my royal mountain stand firm;
but when You hid Your face,
I was dismayed.
8 To You, Lord, I called;
to the Lord I cried for mercy:
9 “What is gained if I am silenced,
if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise You?
Will it proclaim Your faithfulness?
10 Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me;
Lord, be my help.”
11 You turned my wailing into dancing;
You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12 that my heart may sing Your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise You forever.
- Psalm 30

He who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. The LORD watches over you… Psalm 121:3-5 Even the most diligent parents cannot watch over their children every single second. They get tired and have to rest and sleep. But our God watches over us every second of our life. Therefore we can be at peace. Quit worrying so much about your life, about your children, about your parents. The Lord watches over us. Rest assured, Jesus is in control of everything concerning you.

“I will always praise the Lord because He gives me good advice. Even at night He teaches me. I will always keep my eyes focused on Him. Because He is close by my side, I will always be secure and never hurt.”
