Instead they shape and mold us into unique individuals. Acknowledging that you are not perfect and you make mistakes is an essential key of life. Sitting, wallowing, festering in that mistake and allowing that mistake to hover over you like Pig-Pen in the comic strip Peanuts is a problem. Others will try and take your mistake and force you to wear your mistake every day. They will try and make you carry your mistake for the rest of your life. But that’s their crap to work through, their sin, that’s their mistake, not yours! Period. Your mistake does NOT define you. We all make mistakes. We all have a right to right our wrongs. Heal relationships. Make amends. Be forgiven. There is not a soul living that is perfect. Not one! It’s not how we fall, but how we get up from the fall. And check this out...even then...even when we think well we only have one chance to make it right, and I blew it, I missed my opportunity, there’s always another door, window, crack or opening that allows you to right your wrong, because YOUR MISTAKES DO NOT DEFINE YOU. And others, no matter how much they want to stick you with labels, definitions, and stigmas of their choice have NO control of how your life is defined. Mistakes happen. We are not perfect. Where shall my anxieties go?

It was just a few days that passed since I came home from an Intensive Training in being a leader/pastor. During that 2-day training, it was tiring but it was full of wisdom and learning. Joining that event cost me a great amount of money (in my own level) but it was actually worth the cost.

Little do you know, before I decided to join the training. I was torn with so much problems in my finances. But I had to put my faith in God that I shall not lack.But still, anxieties have filled my life like a leech sipping through every moment of joy that I deserve.

But wait there’s more...

After our morning service in the church, our senior pastor approached me and gave me a challenge. “Join tag National Conference, libre na ang plete ug accommodation. Registration nalang ug kaon.” (”Let’s join the National Conference [in Manila], air fare and accommodation is already covered. You just have to pay for the registration and your meals.”).... 

I was like...

Me is excited but....

GOOD LORD! WHERE SHALL MY ANXIETIES GO?

So I opened my Bible and read Psalms 34. So I came by these verses...

4I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 5Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. 6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. 7The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

EVERY. WORD. IS. POWER.

God reminded me that I must not carry the things that God did not give. Whenever we carry burdens, we should know where to go. We should know where to come. We should know where to run. It will always be to Jesus. 

I asked the Lord about situation but this was His answer to me.

8Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! 9Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! 10The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

17When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. 18The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

I lose all my worries in His love. Always know that we always have to come to Jesus. Nothing in this world can truly satisfy us but only Jesus himself.
