I can’t even with this! I watched this for the 4th time already 💖  If you just want to feel pretty, watch this now! Ms. Kim and Mr. Lee are just adorable together. I want their kind of rlationship! Every episode is funny!!! Even their colleagues and friends have their own story which are all worth the watch. 

PSJ is also great at pulling off the character. >,< This is on my top tier list and will re-watch again if I’m feeling down.

WHAT I LOVE: 

»They both don’t make a big deal out of small things. They’re both very mature in ahndling the problems that surrounded them. Their conflict is not bc of misunderstandings, no. They try to resolve that as early as possible. Their level of trust and openness in each other is just 💯

»They make a way to be with each other. They don’t let things at the hand of fate. Mr. Lee really amps up his efforts so he’ll be seen as marriage material by Ms. Kim.

» They grow together. You can see how Mr. Lee developed throughout the series. Ms. Kim is also a representation of all the ppl out there who are all work yet no life and finally having the liberty find her identity.

Xiang Qin has a crush on Zhi shu. He rejected her love letter in front of the whole school. Her house collapsed, which made her and her dad to start living under one roof with Zhi Shu and his family. Based on Mischievous Kiss manga.

This is not Korean! It’s actually Taiwanese. But I love it! The plot alone screams every girl’s dream. Another I want their relationship!!! The chemistry between Xiang Qin and Zhi shu is just undeniable. Plus, the drama is well-put. I really love their relationship even until they got married (season 2)! I honestly wanted to see more of them. 

Those who love the silent guy type will definitely go uwu for Zhi shu 💗 They wil make you want you to get married 💗💗💗

Sam Nom had to pretend as a boy and eunuch to save her life. She had to serve the Crown Prince and they hated each other.

Oh no! This was just totally cute initially. This had me laughing in the first few eps and crying my eyes out in the mid to latter part! K-DRAMAs can be really cruel.🥺  Beogeom-sshi is just so good at acting. I don’t wanna spoil stuff, but I laughed and cried on this one.

Ranking the K Dramas I’ve Watched So Far

Last time I ranked them I had watched 20 in total, this time I’ve added 10 more kdramas to my list. My previous number one was officially dethroned- I was shook!

I’ve watched a total of 5 kdramas during this quarantine alone ---all Hyun Bin’s (he’s my current obsession). 

I’m currently watching The King: Eternal Monarch so I will not be including it.

Disclaimer: I rank them based on how much I personally enjoy them, which means some dramas are actually better in general, but I might have not enjoyed them as much as some cheesier ones.   

30. I can hear your voice

Good story. Noona Romance that I enjoyed but there wasn’t enough of it. And the lawyer/justice system bored me.

29. Doctor Stranger

Good story. I hated the romance. The only kdrama that I was rooting SOOO hard for the second leading lady. 

28. My First First Love

Okay story. It was cute but it bored me. Its more of a ’laid back, if you have nothing else to do give it a try’ kind of drama.

27. 12 Year Promise

Okay story. Deals with teenage pregnancy which had me shook for a Kdrama, but the second half of it fell short and had an unresolved ending. 

26. A Witch’s Romance

Okay story and realistic. A noona romance which started off good but then their age difference was more apparent and no longer interested me. 

25. She was Pretty

Great story. But there was NO chemistry between the leads. I never believed that PSJ had feelings for her. I think the female lead was a bit too annoying. 

24. Goblin

EXCELLENT story, probably one of the best from this list. Unfortunately I couldn’t get into this Oppa romance. I couldn’t get over their age difference and I didn’t really grow to love either one of the leads. I preferred the second romance story. 

23. Romance is a Bonus Book 

Okay story. Another laid back drama, but this one I actually enjoyed. A Noona romance which although their age difference was an issue for me, the lead female was very likable. 

22. Faith: The Great Doctor

Interesting story. This drama gets an award from me for being all over the place. Too many genres in one. I really loved the romance but it was very limited. 

21. Pinocchio

Great story. I needed more romance. 

20. City Hunter

EXCELLENT story. LMH is super hot and it has a very intriguing story with a lot of action, but if failed to please me with the romance. I loved their chemistry but they didn’t have an ending that i liked.  

19. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo

EXCELLENT story. I think this is the drama that I cried the most with! The leads’ chemistry was EVERYTHING. Reason why is low on my list, because it had more plots that I didn’t care for. 

18. While you were Sleeping

Good story. I feel like this is one of the few dramas that is the most unmemorable to me. I remember liking it...but not going crazy for it. I just can’t really remember details or why I liked it. 

17. My Love from the Star

Good story. Perfect laid back romcom. The ending hurt my feelings though. 

16. Itaewan Class

EXCELLENT story. It was very different from what I normally enjoy. A must watch. I didn’t care much for the romance though. 

15. Fight for my Way

Good story. Very realistic and cute. Another laid back drama.

14. Memories of the Alhambra

Great story. A lot of action with the hottest actor alive. I needed more romance though!!! And again the ending hurt me. 

13. Hyde, Jekyll, Me

Good story. I cried so much towards the ending. I did a whole post on this drama. 

12. My Lovely Sam Soon

Great story. This is my latest drama...and I loved it and hated it at the same time! I’m going to do a review on it because it was just too much for my little heart. 

11. Touch Your Heart

Okay story. There’s nothing extraordinary about it...but it was a beautiful romcom that made my heart flutter. 

10. Personal Taste

Okay story. Simple and laid back. But interesting at the same time. Most relatable leading lady!

9. W: Two Worlds

Great story. Had me on my toes and I loved the romance! Only down side is that I needed more romance and less action. 

8. Crash Landing on You

Great story. This is the ‘it’ romcom right now. I need to watch it again once I’m done with most of Hyun Bin’s dramas. 

7. Legend of the Blue Sea

Great story. Enjoyable from beginning to end. 

6. Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth

Great story. The only kdrama that I didn’t care for the romance, but still loved! The Hwarang boys and their bromance was EVERYTHING!

5. Boys Over Flowers

Good story. Just a must watch! Especially for kdrama beginners. 

4. Strong Girl Bong Soon

Good story. Another must watch! Also great for kdrama beginners. 

3. The Heirs

Okay story. I admit is not the most interesting when you compare it to all these kdramas. Its also the cheesiest....but I LOVE IT! 

2. Whats Wrong with Secretary Kim

Good story. Another simple kdrama that stole my heart! Best chemistry, best ending, best relationship....it was just the perfect romcom

1. Secret Garden

Good story. Must watch! Iconic! I never thought I would love a kdrama more than WWWSK...but Secret Garden had all the tropes that I love in romcoms!!!

Oooo it’ll be nice to be friends with them all but for my best friend, prolly Kim Go Eun. I want Kim Ji Won as my noona and Ji Chang Wook as my oppa (I heard he has great manners :D). And maybe I’m the only one but I would feel extremely uncomfortable to date my bias so I’mma hv to skip that last one lol

Again, I never really think about these but the one and only dokkaebi will get points for how hilarious his character is as a whole

Literally just finished watching Revolutionary Love, and Byun Hyuk is not the only one that fell in love with Baek Joon’s strong personality. Totally love this girl!!!

18. What is your least favourite drama?

There were several kdramas that I discontinued because I was bored and just sorta disliked it (like it’s not my type). Most of these are action-genred dramas and the ones that are political and pretty heavy (like I didn’t finish vagabond and k2 although they are actually really good ones, I just don’t really like the genres that’s all), but out of all of these I’d probably hv to choose Abyss (stopped watching it after only 2 episodes) or Cheese In The Trap (THE ENDING OMGG I WANNA CRY 😭😭 CITT IS LITERALLY MY FAV WEBTOON AND THE DRAMA’S ENDING RUINED THE WHOLE THING)

19. How were you introduced to kdrama?

Well I’ve known kdramas ever since I was little (I used to join my cousins sometimes while they were watching them) but as a summary, I liked dramas because of webtoon (like drama genre yk) and at that time my cousins and one of my aunt who were at my house at the time were binge-watching CLOY so I sorta joined and watched like half of it, and when it was done there were other kdrama reccs there (we were watching it on netflix) and one of them was WWWSK and I was sorta interested and curious so I decided to watch it with my aunt. Ever since then I’ve been obsessed with kdramas that I binge-watch them everyday lol

20. What was your first drama?

Technically the first drama I’ve finished was What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim (step one on being a PSJ fan woohoooo), but back then when I was little I sometimes joined my cousins when they were watching The Heirs and My Love From The Star

21. Who is your least favourite drama character?

Ooh, the Jang family from Itaewon Class got me on my nerves but both psychopaths from Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and Suspicious Partner are definitely really annoying like why would u kill people for no reason you 미친 사이코 또라이

22. Who is your least favourite actor or actress?

I don’t have a least fave bcs personally I think all of these actors and actresses are talented so like 🤷🏻‍♀️

As I said before, I would feel extremely uncomfortable if I’m dating my bias, so don’t even think about how I would feel if I married them

Wow okay but like EXO Next Door would be incredible lmfaooo (although I’m not rlly a fan of kpop but imagine being friends with all of the members of a popular kpop group like wow)

Omg just a clueless romantic like Haru would be adorableee, or someone who is crazy over their gf like Ahn Min Hyuk would be amazhangg

Wow tbh nope, I never really liked noona romances, I mean like I’m already sorta uncomfortable when the lead man is older than the lead woman by like a decade or somn (like goblin omg), so like imagine if the woman is now older than the man by a decade (I mean like tbh I don’t rlly like it whenever the girl is older than the guys but eh whatevs)

Bromance: KIM. SHIN. WANG. YEO. BEST BROMANCE DRAMA. ENOUGH SAID. EVERYONE CAN AGREEEE

Sismance: Fight For My Way’s Choi Ae Ra and Baek Seol Hee, I mean like,, friendship goals. Periodt.

Yesss, but I tend not to ship them and get too attached to them too much bcs ik they would never be endgame so like T.T

30. In which drama you had the worst second lead syndrome?

LITERALLY WATCHING IT RN AND I FEEL SO BAD FOR KIM SHIN HYUK OMGG 😭😭 (oh and also CITT’s Baek In Ho, like I didn’t ship them at all in the webtoon but their chemistry in the drama is urghhh I feel so bad for my babyy 😭 that’s also how I became a Seo Kang Joon fan YASSS)

31. What is your favourite drama in this year?

Well if you’re talking about drama that I watched this year, it’ll be too many as I’ve only just started watching kdramas literally March this year, so I’ll only perceive this as my favorite drama that was released in 2020, which is Backstreet Rookie although a lot of ppl actually hated it. Personally I disagree with those points too (adult webtoon, prostitution, underaged kissing, etc) but I really like how it’s such a funny comical drama, like those types of dramas are my favorite

32. Can you understand korean without subtitles?

Definitely not but that is indeed my goal yeeyee

33. What is your message to your favourite actor and actress?

Episode 10

The office peeps invited themselves over to Ji Ah's for a housewarming

I love them so much!

The camaraderie is so cute

Certainly captures the joy that a discussion of a get together brings and how it lifts the mood in the office!

Omo omo that oppa from PMY came out of nowhere and our PSJ gets so lovably flustered!

PSJ digging for clams in those green overalls and rubber boots have got to me my favourite scene in the entire series

The flashback scene where the sisters recount why they go on this annual trip is so heartwarming

Even though the dad lost the car keys and missed his music competition, both he and his wife could see the good side of it and spent a lovely day with their kids

So often things would have gone the other way

To nitpick just a little though, I thought PMY's acting in these scenes to be flat

Her sister overcame her reluctance and accepted PSJ

Yet PMY just smiled prettily throughout

That said, I still love how PMY recounted how she felt about her mom later, and how she treasured the last memories with her

OK hold up

How does Morpheus know that PMY is at that showcase and how did he enter?

Anyway I like the irony that while Morpheus was coming to terms with not having the memories he thought he had, PMY was getting flooded with memories she thought she lost.

hwarang wasn't a good show and it's the only show where I've genuinely hated the male lead character. (also the king was the better love interest I mean when he said "I'll be your man and no one's king"???? come on)
