the thing is i honestly think jason should have killed the joker during his resurrection/close to his resurrection. jason in universe and as a meta character was meant to challenge and stir up the status quo of batman as a franchise and a character, so i think it would have been quite poetic for him to kill the joker. something about how jason dying set off a chain reaction within the batman universe, and how jason killing the joker would do the same. jason kills the joker and subsequently the joker can no longer amass more victims. and what would be the reaction of the people once terrorized by the joker? friends and family of victims? is the world better without him? what is the in universe and irl chain reaction this could cause? also i think he just deserved to kill his murderer like if there’s a kill that’s justified it’s a murder victim killing their murderer. i don’t think killing the joker would fix all of Jason’s problems lmao the crux of his issues isn’t necessarily the joker himself, not even really the joker killing him, but to write off the joker as unimportant to jason isn’t entirely true either- there is a reason he’s involved in the confrontation in under the hood, there’s a reason the joker is at the crux of his revenge plan… but we’re so well past jason’s initial introduction that it would be cheap and boring for him to kill the joker. if jason killed the joker NOW it would be a step backwards with his character.
would killing the joker have satisfied jason? no- to jason, he shouldn’t have had to kill the monster under his bed. he shouldn’t have had to avenge himself. killing him wouldnt fix the crux of jason’s issues. narratively, though? a ghost coming back to wreck havoc among everyone who failed him? creating an event that could shake the foundation of the batman universe just like his own death had? jason killing the joker during his resurrection has the potential to create a fascinating dialogue within the batman universe.

The amount of time I've spent trying to design a wheelchair accessible kitchen for Barbara's apartment in the Sims 4 is peak neuroticism. There aren't even functioning wheelchairs in the Sims 4, but I'm over here trying to find wall shelves that a wheelchair can fit under
(something like this)

I came across the post about what happened to Rhinedottir to make her feed kids to one another
My headcanon is that stress of collapsing the entire nation (or help contributing to its collapse) got to her and make her act in a drastic way
Honestly I feel like this should be/is canon,
We know (atleast from what elynas told us, and what we know about durin) most of her creations did exist prior to the cataclysm, hence the fact they refer to each other as siblings bc they were raised together; so I really do feel like there’s a huge distinction between her creatures before and after the cataclysm.
Since we can guess Albedo, along with Dorian, were born after that's during a time she’s obviously going through something (whether it’s guilt or mania, i don’t even know anymore,) it defiantly could be expected that she’s going to have some more,, *ahem*,, extreme courses of action.
And I guess feeding her children to one another is one of those courses,,,?
Idk I'm not a parent to mutated life forms. Maybe that's just, normal course of action-- I'm not one to judge!
(really love this theory/idea though!!!)

okay, I was going to do this in the tags but it got too long.  I’m not tagging the other idol because I don’t want this to become a competition between fans of the two.  I just want to point out the differences in presentation because I live for that kind of shit.
The other idol is doing an idol challenge.  San is Performing.  It makes a HUGE visual difference.  It’s not really fair to compare the two - but we’re going to do it anyway.
Let’s just start with set up.  San’s in black.  It’s going to make him dramatic looking when he moves and his background is full of those black and grey contrasting horizontals.  It makes any move he makes really pop because its going to cut right through those horizontals in pitch black.  It’s going to naturally look dramatic and dynamic.  Just look at the opening screen of the two of them before anyone even moves.
The other idol, who shall remain nameless because - fans, is dressed in baggy muted sweats.  The colors are soft, the background he’s against is also soft.  It’s a dark grey and the lines, barely there, all run vertical.  Already the background is urging your eyes to look up and down instead on in a flow from side to side and the guy isn’t wearing anything stark enough to pull your attention back to him.  I’m not saying its sloppy, I’m just saying he’s standing in a music room about to do a challenge and San’s in a studio set up to perform and so the idol is already at a disadvantage.  (btw I don’t know what kinds of rooms they’re really in, I’m just using those words to set up the idea of the differences)
Then they start moving.  It’s obvious the other idol is good.  He’s got the moves down, he’s fluid in his transitions.  There’s no hesitation between parts.  He knows what he’s doing and he’s doing it well.  He’s an experienced and seasoned idol who knows his craft.
He’s not San.
San isn’t dancing.  San is performing.  Yes, he’s performing a dance but he’s still doing more than just following the moves.  San is also fluid, knows the moves, has the beat and the rhythm down.  But San is flaring his moves.  He’s intentionally making them stand out and then fitting them together.  He POPS the body shifts so that you notice them.  When he stretches out a leg he fully stretches so you’re aware of the move.  The knee lift goes higher, the leg extension goes further, the arms move further away from the body on the moves.  He’s not afraid to move his feet and lose his stability, not afraid to almost over-extend his reaches because he knows he can pull back in time for the next move.  You see his throat flash a lot.  He’s just as aware of his head and face placement as he is of his body’s and he’s confident that he can add it in and keep track of it and keep everything flowing.  San’s whole body dancing and he’s aware he’s using his whole body.  San’s not using the memorized moves, he’s utilizing the song’s beat.
San’s telling a story.
In the end, that’s what it comes down to.  They’re both very good at their craft.  You’re just comparing apples to oranges.
You’re comparing an actor to a storyteller.

A lot of pop psychology gets thrown around and since I already have a headache, here's preventing you lot from making it worse.
Love-bombing: A manipulation tactic of increasing affection and grand gestures before or after doing something abusive, specifically to weasel one's way out of consequences.
What it is not: A streak of affection and generosity towards friends/loved ones.
Trauma-bonding: Knowingly traumatizing someone to take advantage of their vulnerable state, to then act like the "hero" or the one who cheers them up.
What it is not: Bonding over similar traumas.
Gaslighting: *Knowingly* convincing someone they cannot trust their own perception of a situation in pursuit of one's own narrative.
What it is not: Misaligned perception of events.
Narcissist: Someone afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, a traumagenic cluster B disorder, that struggles with self-obsession, paranoia, craving validity from the public, delusions of grandeur, and social disconnection.
It is not: Your rubbish ex that cheated on you.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
