I watched greatest showman once more. Fantastic film, yadda yadda. Fic idea. What if I killed Charity and made Barnum and Carlyle bi disasters? What if Barnum’s a single dad bc Charity died during childbirth and he’s had to raise little ones on his one while dealing with the grief of his dead wife? What if Carlyle has to deal with the societal pressure of his previous role and more heavily believes that moving from his perfect son status would have him, ehem, “disgraced and disowned”? What if Anne Wheeler and Carlyle with platonic and absolutely besties? What if?…
