HERE'S WHY

When you reblog with the community tag or suggest a community tag you're basically reporting the post to tumblr which then locks the adult content onto the post that has 2 major consequences.

1) the post is taken off the regular tags chosen by the author and

2) every single reblog will stop being visible on the user's page. The person that rebloged will see their own reblog but a person visiting the blog won't.

So basically what is does is that it wipes the post from the site.

It means countless hours of work go unnoticed and there's nothing more creatively draining that to feel your work and efforts were worthless.

We get the point of the tags but they are just so harmful for us. Instead please carefully read the tags most (if not all) authors mark their nsfw works, mention minors to not interact and also tag their fics very precisely to ensure everyone is kept safe while browsing the site.

Please please please don't censor us.

Revival

Good news, everyone! We're not dead (yet)! As of next week, your lovable, friendly, by-no-means-strange Weird Times shall return! Please note, however, there will be a few changes.

Firstly, updates shall remain biweekly, but posts delivered on Mondays. This will reflect the biweekly release of Wires Crossed, Molly's other ongoing comic. Put in another way, Weird Times will release the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month while Wires Crossed releases the 1st and 3rd of every month.

Another important factor of note is Weird Time's structure. Every 10 pages shall be designated as Courses. The first ten pages was the First Course, the next ten pages the Second Course, and so on. With any luck, this will help structure the story.

Not a silly post.

Two kids at my school just got stabbed today in the head. Both of them were autistic sped kids. There were 7 cop cars called to my school and an ambulance. One of them got stabbed right next to the eye, and the other through the side of the head. The person who did this has targeted one of them before and beat him up twice. At this point I'm considering this a targeted attack on them just for being autistic. I am on the spectrum, but on the lower side of it. As from what I know, one of them is in a pretty bad condition.

I dont know what to tag this, I just hope people can at least see this to understand how fucked America is becoming.

Little public announcement from yours truly!

First: the results are in!! By a surprising margin, the romance poll went the way of the polybatch! A couple disclaimers: do not expect anything to happen quickly. I am a slow burn simp and fully intend to let you all suffer with me. If the dynamic doesn't feel organic and realistic, then that's just not something I'm interested in writing. Crosshair came in second, followed by remaining platonic. Obviously, there's already some good tension with Cross, but I hope the way I go about this won't discourage platonic voters too much.

Second: Explicit chapters will be noted, and explicit tags will only be visible below the cutoff so anyone opposed to certain terminology can avoid it. If anyone wants a censored chapter purely for story purposes, I'm happy to accommodate as best I can - anon asks are on if you aren't comfortable asking openly!

Third: I just wanted to reiterate that I am never opposed to chatting! I know exactly why I write what I write and why I prefer that type of material. If you're hurting or lonely or bored, drop me a 'hey' or even just an emoji if you're nervous about how to start talking! We are a social species, and there's no shame in needing some interaction!

Okay, lastly! This is an open invitation to tag me in you're things! If you've written or drawn or thought of something you want to share, gimme gimme gimme! I might not be able to react immediately, but I absolutely do not find that cringy or annoying!

Well and truly, thank you everyone for your fantastic support! These past few months have been positively stellar with Weird Times' reception. Molly & I weren't sure how people would respond to this weird fantasy series, but in hindsight, we feel silly for such doubts.
