yes, pubwe is "pub we"! everyone is obsessed with it cause it rhymes with "rugby". the lyric is "and you can find me in the pub//we are watching rugby" so her thinking to JOIN the last word of the first line(ie "pub") and first word of the second(ie "we") line(rather than singing the 2 lines separately)and make them sound like one word rather than two just so it rhymes with "rugby" is so... fun and intelligent. and everyone loves that she thought of it lmao
