Made another PuffballsUnited fan-art of the Henry Stickmin collection!
Henry Stickmin successfully snuck into the back-side of the museum and reached the Romanian Archaeological Exhibit. A double-door is locked, showcasing the direct path to the Tunisian Diamond on the other side of their glassy display. Whilst hiding within the shadows of the corner, two security guards walked past- one of them carrying a very convenient key. "How to get that key," Henry pondered as the two guards were discussing about their shift schedules.
So here's where you guys come in: I'm going to make a poll as to which item displayed will be the top choice to use to grab the key. You don't have to provide an explanation; just the item name. Within a week, I'll have a winner to start drawing.
There's a bit of PuffballsUnited's (4 hour long) developer commentary on CtM where he comments on just how slick an animation of Sven is in Special Brovert Ops, and it's been stuck in my head ever since. It's probably the most expressive bit of animation in the series in only 2 seconds. Like. The limb exaggeration. The curve he moves on. The personality in switching from talking to a colleague to surprise to being scared out of your wits to threatening an intruder. It's better than what you get from entire teams working on films.
It was really fun to work through the breakdown of the scenes here, even if animation is a bitch and you work at a rate of slower than 1 hour to 1 second. Perhaps one day I will practice it more.
"While I would be thrilled as fuck if a THSC continuation was announced in any capacity (however big or small), at the same time I really don't want one. Between the toll that THSC took on PuffballsUnited, the sheer amount of small background details, and the fun of filling in gaps and expanding on the canon that's already there, I'm more than happy with what we have."
"The game being so open-ended is one of the biggest appeals of the series, and probably the biggest reason people are so fond of it to this day. As much as I'm a total sucker for any scraps of canon lore I can get my hands on, I'm happy with not every mystery or question being answered." submitted by @the-irken-pony
