*He chuckles with his head facing down as he slips his puffer vest off, easily swinging it over your shoulders even though it engulfs you* “don’t want your tits fallin off now, eh? “it’d be so tragic if they fell off. i’d invite you to the funeral tho. we could play the heart will go on.” I slip my arms through the arms of the vest, just to loop my arm with his again before we start walking. I lean a little into him, looking for the extra body wamrth in the middle of the whack ass weather toronto’s been having the last week. “dunno, didn’t think that far ahead. guess we can just grab edibles or something. walk to dundas after and see what’s being protested today?”
my pea puffs have gotten so accustomed to eating the same blackworms i feed taako and lup that they don’t even TRY to eat snails anymore. Worms are easier and less work, and they can’t even swim to escape, so now they just ignore the snails because they know I’m a sucker who will eventually give in to their tiny little begging eyes.
I don’t really have any problem with them being accustomed to the finer things in life, honestly; I just want my pets to be happy and healthy. The problem is that if you don’t switch up the food for your fish every once in a while, they run the risk of nutrient deficiencies. That’s especially true for fish like the wee Lord and Lady Bastard, because they only eat live food so you can’t just swap out flakes for pellets or whatever. So, you know, I’ve been rotating brine shrimp into the diet. They’re cheap, easy to get and hatch, and I genuinely thought “oh, these will totally help them remember how to hunt for their food.” Like I thought they’d have to WORK for it.
This will be so enriching, I thought.
She’s like a vegas tourist at a seafood buffet. This is the lowest effort gluttony I’ve ever seen.
