Can we acknowledge stomach acid being fucking weird? We have pits of acid in us that sometimes comes out our very delicate throats??? Imagine an alien hits a human in the stomach hard enough to make them sick and thinks they've won, but they get melted by the vomit. And somewhere along the line aliens get convinced that one of a human's defence mechanisms is spitting acid and we have to explain that no, but we have some earth native reptiles that can.

in eldritch basil's second form, is the mouth of the monster flower thing in basil's hair actually functional? like basil probably just gets bored of eating normally one day and sticks a cheeto into his head flower mouth

at first, i did think to make the flower physically attached to him and it being part of basil's body as an eldritch being, but i decided against it

instead, all the items (clothing and accessories) that are on basil kinda get filtered when he changes forms. So the flower is technically just a hairclip normally, but in his mid eldritch form, it's an actual living creature with a mind of it's own

But i really like the cheetos idea, so yeah sunny feeds the flowers cheetos sometimes, the only consequence of doing stuff like that is that it has a weak stomach and will vomit the exorcist style

AN: Yeah so uh, I made an OC for TFotHoU and I thought "What better way to put them out in the world than to write their death scene?" so here that is :]

A loud snap echos through the theater and a hiss comes over the mic, cutting through the generic instrumental like a knife. The audience goes silent with shock, before a few begin to clap at the excellent special effects and the rest follow suit. Everyone knew Mavis was taking her performances in a new direction but no one had expected such a dramatic shift. The clapping fades as people settle back into their seats, waiting for the big reveal.

But it doesn't come.

Personnel rush on stage, and before anyone can react a girl in the front row screams. People jump to their feet, screaming and crying out as they bang on the doors, finally pushing them open to the hallway outside. Its a stampede, true chaos. Someone slips on vomit and gets trampled, tripping others and leading them to a similar fate. The room's air is permeated with the hot, rich smell of iron as the last leave the grizzly scene.

When paramedics arrive they find Rodrick Usher, one of the richest most powerful men in the world, crumpled to the ground in front of the decapitated head of his youngest. "The staff, they said the harness was fail-proof! They promised..." he chokes out, trailing off and falling silent once more. Blood drips from her nose, and her pupils are blown wide as she stares blankly up into his eyes. Her eyebrows are knit together in fear, and her mouth is open in a silent scream, never to be heard by the living again.

AN: Yeah so this is a drabble, and I have way more in terms of idea for this character and theres way more context to her death, but this is what I want to write for now since I feel its a strong intro. This disability pride month, please educate yourself on how to properly tag for phobias I am begging at this point.

I have been saying this for years now, but tagging triggering content with the name of the phobia that it triggers is not good allyship.

And since people still seem to not get this, I will use my trigger words just this once.

I have emetophobia. I have an irrational fear of throwing up. I have trauma related to throwing up. I can't see it without having a panic attack. Etc.

Stop tagging content that contains throw up, especially graphic content with #emetophobia.

You are not helping. You are not making things safer for people with phobias. We use these phobia names to talk about our phobias.

We don't use phobia names to trigger tag but when people don't tag correctly then we have to block the phobia name which cuts us off from community.

Tag #Vomit TW or #Puke TW for content that might trigger people with emetophobia. Please. The same goes for other phobias.

So a big thing in the Humans Are Space Orcs tag is that we can eat a lot of stuff that we shouldn't reasonably be able to, and sometimes you'll see stuff about vomit being acid and hurting other aliens. So what if the acid is why we can eat all the dumb shit? Just this interaction:
