Perhaps an unusual spicy idea: a gal sets up everything for a nice evening for herself--candles, aromatherapy, a vibrator, a dildo...only to accidentally re-create some kind of ancient sex spell that summons Desire. Desire is actually amused enough that someone got it right after so many centuries that they decide to play along and help out 👀

OOOOHHH this is an interesting idea!! I haven't written Desire in such a way so I will give it a shot!!! Sorry it took so long!!

Everything had been going according to plan. This was a rare day off where you had not much else to do, so you did everything at home you could possibly do to pamper yourself: you tried on that organic hair conditioner you had been saving because it was too expensive to use on a regular day; that tightening, pore-removing face mask you had bought ages ago on impulse; you did your nails (it was abysmal work, but hey, it felt nice); you ordered in a fancy meal and capped it with a glass of that red wine that had been sitting in your fridge since the last holidays. This last bit of me-time was supposed to be a cherry on top of a great day.

Instead, you were backed into the furthest corner of your bed, wide-eyed and frozen in place in disbelief at the human that had appeared in a cloud of red smoke, sat on the edge of your mattress.

They looked insanely beautiful, that was true, but that didn't really help the fact that they somehow got into your room, and they were wearing a latex catsuit with a neckline that dipped to their toned stomach, revealing a taut chest and the most enviable collarbones a person could possess.

And they wore cat ears.

"Having fun, aren't we?"

Their voice was like honey: smooth, sweet, and slightly teasing. Behind those pretty golden eyes was a hint of devious amusement, and those lips, painted flawlessly in crimson, were curled into a smile that revealed a perfect set of teeth.

"Darling, I know I'm drop-dead gorgeous; you don't have to look so gob-smacked," they said with a lilting laugh, tucking a lock of their blonde hair behind their ear with a perfectly-manicured nail. It put yours to shame.

You managed an unintelligble stutter, but you had meant to ask "How did you get here? Who the fuck are you?"

They merely giggled at your pitiful attempt to make speech. "I just love it when they get this flustered.

"I'm Desire, darling, and you summoned me."

You summoned who, exactly?

They seemed to ignore your bewildered look in favour of your little me-time altar, set in an orderly fashion on your little nightstand. They walked over to it, their cattail swinging behind them, inspecting your...display. Candles in varying scents - vanilla, pumpkin spice -

"Jasmine..." your unexpected guest purred, picking up the candle, and toying with its flame with a slender finger.

They placed it back down and inspected a crystal you remember buying at a mall stall ages ago because of the pretty colour. The woman explained what the stone was, but honestly you had nothing but the groceey list in mind you had forgotten what it was called.

"It's called celestite, my dear," they commented in an amused tone, as if they were reading your thoughts. "You mortals, buying anything and everything just because 'it's pretty.'" They flicked their eyes to you and added, "I approve."

To your horror, they picked up something else from the table, something you had hoped they'd brush over. They twirled the egg-shaped vibrator in their hand.

"This was your main event, wasn't it, darling?"

With a giggle that startled you, they launched themselves on the bed, lading on their back, and put their legs up in the air, swishing it back and forth. They held the vibrator in the light like they were inspecting diamonds.

"I'd never thought someone would finally get it right after so many centuries!"

They continued to laugh delightedly as their eyes landed on you, still curled up on the corner of your own bed, still fucking clueless. They rolled on their stomach and propped their cheek up on their palm.

"Something tells me you have absolutely no idea what you just did."

You swallowed the lump on your throat and finally summoned the will to speak. "What exactly did I do?"

Lazily, they tapped the space beside them, urging you to lay on it. For some reason unknown to you, you did as you were told, never once taking your eyes off them. There was something off about them, but it was mesmerzing.

"अहं त्वां याचयामि, अतीव दीर्घकालं यावत् अभवत्। अद्य रात्रौ मां प्रीत्या आशीर्वादं ददात."

They spoke in a language you have not heard of before. They drew a line on your forearm, giving you goosebumps all over. You were quite disappointed when they stopped.

"That was Sanskirt, darling," they explained. "Summoning me. Tell me, before I graced your home with my presence, what was the last thing you said? Don't be shy now, I won't bite." Then they winked and flashed a toothy smile.

You felt heat creeping up your cheeks as you repeated the words, finding yourself unable to look into their eyes. "'I hope I get an orgasm from this, it has been so long.'"

A finger tilted your chin up to look into those golden eyes. That's when it hit you: they were Desire, the very thing you had asked for. You licked your lips unconsciously as you stared into theirs, noting how red they were, and how they must taste like cherries.

"That's the spell. You asked for me, so let's make it worthwhile, shall we?"

The way they whispered so close to you had your insides melting, and you could only nod, totally under the spell of the otherworldly being you had inadvertently summoned. With a hum, they made a swift move to get on top of you and captured your lips with theirs.

Cherries.

Whatever the fuck you did, you were damn sure you'd do all over again.

Mirta Owain: we know her, we love her, I kept her as a witch through and through! Not much to say about her, her power of Illusions comes from mixing her primary Darkness with Light and Water to create various optical effects and visions. She also still loves pumpkin as a food despite having been turned into one, which tends to unnerve some people lol.

Lucy Wisternia: Mirta's taller gf, we also know her well! She grows enough later on to be forwarded by Griffin herself as a potential new teacher in CT if she so chooses. Her Fauna Source was honed and focused in any small invertebrate that can be classified colloquially as an insect or bug, so it expands to arachnids and some shellfish, like shrimp. She has a particular fondness for bettles, though.

Wenbai Galatea: the current princess of Melodeus! She still has 5 years or so left since reelections for a new monarch happen again. I've decided to make her albino as well. Her power of Vibrations is from her Metal Source, aided by Sound and Wind.

Krystal Rosalinda de los Árboles: Princess of Linphea, Helia and Flora's childhood friend, the one that makes them come to their senses when fighting. She's still the Fairy of Aromatherapy, which here means her main Healing Source is aided by bits of Flora, Fauna and even Poison.

Selina Harlock: I DON'T THINK I NEED TO SAY ALL THAT MUCH, SHE'S SELINA, WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HER LMAO. Currently in jail for another couple months, she MIGHT appear in AUS8? Still not fully on the details yet but we'll see. Her Witch of Fungi comes from her primary Poison Source, which extends to small bits of Flora and Fauna Sources in line with how WEIRD mushrooms are in general when it comes to these sorts of classifications.

Dissociating Days

Warnings: mental illness, dissociative behaviour, manipulative behaviour

Characters: Bo Sinclair, Vincent Sinclair, Lester Sinclair, Hannibal Lecter, Will Graham, Brahams Heelshire and Jason Voorhees.

Will probably do a part 2 with the other characters but I just felt it was a bit too long otherwise (Asa, Thomas, Michael, and probably some other non-slasher characters (although that might be a seperate part)).

Bo Sinclair

The first sign? Avoiding his touch

The second sign? He walks in from the garage to the house and you don't even notice him. You're just staring out the window from behind the kitchen.

"You there?" He asks as he walks into the kitchen to grab the orange juice. "Pumpkin?"

"Hmm?" You don't move your head.

"Bad day?"

"Hmm."

He comes up behind you slowly and pulls you into him. "Surely there's better things to be staring at." Even when you face him, you seem far away.

He doesn't know how to talk you through it, so the only thing he can do is force affection.

He puts the orange juice down, pulls your head into his chest and, unconsciously, you arms wrap around his chest.

This man is trying.

Vincent Sinclair

Vincent gets concerned, especially if its a completely different state from how you normally are

He wants to snuggle with you, but probably won't allow himself to.

He will keep you out of the way of Bo, however, so you'll be in his room for the foreseeable future until you can handle his brothers assholery.

He will bring food up to you, he will check on you during the day, he will make sure that Bo stays out of the house as much as possible.

Vincent is slow to offer physical comfort with his body, but he may try and comfort you by putting a shaky hand on your back and giving you a soft pat.

Lester Sinclair

Hi, hi, do you need water? Food? What do you need?

You don't want his physical affection he does not know what to do.

He'll avoid leaving if he can, but he also doesn't want to feel in the way.

Can also get frustrated because he's only human.

Not to mention if you don't know how to communicate... Well, neither does he

He doesn't know what to do and he cares, he cares so much

He just feels useless in these times.

Hannibal Lecter

You would think he would be helpful

And he could be

But it will depend on how he's feeling and whether you've had any fights recently.

Man is petty, are we surprised?

But if you've been good recently and he's feeling nice.

Aromatherapy with soothing scents, light meals through the day to ensure you eat, dark chocolate as a snack and tea. No coffee, absolutely no coffee.

You won't be allowed in the bedroom alone to dwell. It's out in the study where he can keep an eye on you as he works.

While he would prefer you tell him what's going on, if you don't know (and aren't lying to him about it) he's more than happy to try and help you.

Probably not for the right reasons but it's fine...

Will Graham

Will is worried.

If he doesn't know about your mental illness, he's scared. He knows what it's like to lose his mind, and now it's someone he cares about?

If Hannibal knows about you, Will is keeping you away from that man.

He is not allowing that man to fuck with your head.

Will immediately knows your tells and he's staying within reach for the day.

Will knows that you tend to not want to be touched and that you would prefer to be left alone, but he's not leaving you alone in the house.

Zoe stays with you, no matter what. The only reason is isn't Winston is because Winston stays with Will.

Brahms Heelshire

Whiny baby says no

Look, you thought Lester was having a bad time helping you, Brahms is 100x more useless.

In saying that, he'll make you a PB&J sandwich, he'll play classical music on the piano, or he'll put something on and just dance with you.

You can lean against him, he'll do most of the swaying as the two of you stay in one spot.

Also he's more than happy to cuddle and read you a book

But if it's still early on in your relationship he's going to try something

And you'll just have to tell him to fuck off and let him sulk

But if he's been with you a while, he knows that it's off the table.

He'll just jack off after you've fallen asleep.

Jason Voorhees

He's come back from setting up traps and your just staring.

Is concerned and confused and it's not like he can speak to try and shock you out of it.

As he's moving closer to you, you look up and at his face, smiling.

"Hey Jason." You speak softly.

He places his hand on the side of your head and you just let your head flop down as he supports your neck.

He'll make sure you're comfy.

Snacks, pillows, blankets. A book or two, even if you can't concentrate.

Will fret over you by fluffing pillows and making sure you're all snuggled in with water next to you so you don't have to move.

Absolute mother hen and will not be happy if some campers come in when you're having a bad time.

Pumpkin Apple Room Spray: one of my favorite scents ever, and a fall staple! i had to get a room spray of this since they didn’t have it when i tried to this past fall. it’s a warm pumpkin and apple and my favorite scent as far as candles go at Bath & Body Works! 🎃🍎

Strawberry Snowflakes Hand Soap: grabbed this hand soap to use in february for Valentine’s Day. i think it would make a great scent for that. if you’re curious about the scent check out my previous post!

Love Always Wins Candle: i do really love this scent for summer and never got it in the candle! the packaging is also so cute for Pride Month! if you’re unfamiliar with the scent it has sangria fruitiness to it with an ocean-woodsy note as well🌈🏳️‍🌈

Summer Melody Dry Shampoo: i’ve been looking for a new dry shampoo lately so i decided to give this a try and it’s fantastic ! i’ll probably make another post to talk about it in full. the scent is honeydew and vanilla and it has a very warm sandy vibe to it 🌞

Sun Ripened Raspberry: i had to get this for my mom, she used it when i was a kid so one SAS i got her one. she said it was good but she wasn’t crazy about it but then used the whole bottle in less than a year! guess she liked it more than she remembered 😂 it’s a sweet and perfumey raspberry scent and a classic but retired scent at Bath & Body Works ❣️

Forever Red: i have been obsessed with this scent since eighth grade when it came out for the first time. it’s a sophisticated night-out type scent but softer than the other scents i describe that way. the pomegranate and floral scents are most prominent but it has a rum and oak that give it a sultry vibe as well. 💋

Bright Christmas Morning: was bummed to not get this one in the body spray but it was sold out when i got there so i grabbed it in the lotion. they really did well capturing the scent of the home fragrance in a body care with this one. it’s fruity but keeps the holiday vibe to it. the blood orange note shines through and it’s amazing 🍊🎄

Black Tie: this one is definitely cologney and sophisticated. a night-out scent for sure as well. the sage gives it an almost aromatherapy vibe on the dry down 🤵🏼‍♀️

Winter Cherry Blossom: if you’re looking for a Japanese Cherry Blossom adjacent scent, this isn’t it. i’ve heard this one is like a winter spin on Cherry Blossom. it’s very old-timey perfumey, with a wintery floral scent. 🌸❄️

Sapphire Moon: this one is much more bright than the spray, the pear shines through more than the other notes 🌕

Pink Lily & Bamboo: this one was on my list with a question mark for SAS but as soon as i smelled it i knew i had to get it! it has the same bright floral vibe as Candied Violet Sorbet, with a strong bamboo underlying that gives it a truly planty scent. i love it and can’t wait to use it this spring and summer 💐🎋

Sport: my lovely partner picked out one thing for himself throughout the whole store! i had a feeling he’d like this one though. it’s citrus and mint with woodsy undertones on the dry-down 🍋🍊🏀

Winter Candy Apple: a holiday staple, and mine is about gone! it’s a fruity floral, but the cinnamon gives it a spicy holiday feel. 🍎

Wrapped in Vanilla: my Blush Cardigan obsession led me to ignore this one initially, but it’s very nice. if you want just a straight-up toasty vanilla creamy scent this is the one for you! 🍨

Coffee & Whiskey: picked up a backup, because i’m obsessed. it’s the perfect spiked coffee scent and half of my family is obsessed with it as well! ☕️🥃

Brown Sugar & Fig: a staple in my collection and my body cream was running low. this is a retired scent from Bath & Body Works that i grew up using from my moms collection when i was young! it’s a favorite of mine in the fall. it’s a warm sugary scent with notes of fig, coconut milk, and brown sugar 🍂

Blackberry & Basil: this one was sold out in the body spray as well which was a bummer but at least i got it in the cream! it’s a little different from the hand sanitizer that comes out in the fall, with a more floral, herby vibe to it but still has a sweet blackberry note! 🌿

Animals. Whether in person or watching videos of them online. Especially hamsters, other rodents, and cats. I just adore them and their noises and cuteness, omg. No matter what kind of mood I'm in, animals will make me smile ever time.

🌷 - What's a few candle scents you like?

My ultimate favorite candle scent of all time is "Witches Brew" by Yankee Candle. Not only do I just love the scent, but it also reminds me of my late mother. She knew I loved that scent and bought me a whole bunch of candles years ago, and she used to start burning it in the house before I got home from school, and then later, from work. So when I got home I'd have my favorite scent going on. So it always reminds me of her. Plus it's the perfect Halloween scent, and Halloween is a LIFESTYLE for me, lol, I'm witchy all year round, it's my normal everyday aesthetic. So that scent just conjures all sorts of happy memories and feelings in me when I smell it.

Another candle scent that I abdolutely adore that was retired and that really sucks... is "Unicorn Tears" by Fragrant Jewels. I'm not sure what's actually in it in terms of what the scent is, but it's just lovely, like a floral fruity... something, heh. Starry Night is a close second with this brand, I love that one too.

And then let's see... in general I love rose and rose petal scents, orange... like blood orange or orange blossom scents, and I mean because, yet again I state that Halloween is a lifestyle for me and not just a holiday haha, I love pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice, pumpkin donut, and pumpkin cake scents.

I... have a lot of candles, heh. With my anxiety, aromatherapy is really a thing, and I'm a person who tends to have emotions and memories invoked by scents, so if I need to relax or feel better, candles really help.

💪 - Quick, name something you're proud of!

The fact that I've written epic fantasy novels and series. Like... none of my books were great, I'll be perfectly honest, and maybe they weren't even mediocre, haha, but I loved them, loved the characters, and just the fact that I can say I've written 800+ page fantasy novels and multi-book series is pretty damn cool. I will forever be proud of myself for accomplishing that, even if they weren't the best quality writing pieces. I'll also always have such deep affection for all the characters I've created, and to this day I go back and reread things occasionally and just smile because those are creations and memories that no one can ever take from me. =)

🍃 - If you had to pick a season for it to be all year long, what would you pick?

FALL!!! Eh-hem. Halloween, heh. Have I mentioned that it's near and dear to my heart? But also, I love falling colorful leaves, hot choccy, boots and leggings, oversized sweaters, pumpkin everything, oak and maple themes, and just all the earthy smells and natural symbols that surround me during Fall. I love all of it, it's my happy season.

Anything and black, heh. White and black, purple and black, blue and black, red and black... But I guess if I had to pick my favorite I'd say... purple and black.
