Yes, I love that trope (I have a varying one noted down as part of my cliches and tropes thing). And yes, I finally did listen to the song today! I added it right after you mentioned it to me but hadn't checked it out before and I was very much into how the song is literally just about Nat and you can't convince me otherwise 😂

Dude, you're the freaking best, thank you so much! I had this idea in my head for a couple of days, I couldn't get rid of it. I'd write it myself but my creative writing is horrible and I would not do it justice. I certainly couldn't write it as well as I'm sure you will.

That song is so Nat! The character in the show even has red hair and wears a leather jacket, it couldn't be more perfect!

Who's the more affectionate one? Maria or Nat?

I have to admit that I stared at this ask for an ungodly amount of time because honestly it could go either way. But, here’s my thoughts.

I think it depends on how you define affectionate, because I feel like Nat and Maria are both equally affectionate but show it in very different ways.

Personally, I love the hc that Maria is somewhat chivalrous and loves to do stuff for Nat. Obviously Nat’s no damsel in distress, but I think that Maria struggles with telling Nat how she feels, so she relys on her actions.

At the beginning of their relationship, I feel like Nat was pretty closed off and really hesitant bc she’d never really been in a serious relationship before, but as time went on, I think she became a lot more comfortable.

For Nat, After being in a relationship for a while, I will live and die by the hc that she is super cheesy and hopelessly romantic. You know, always buying Maria stuff, taking Maria out to dinner (even if it’s just fast food, Nat will find a way to make it romantic), celebrating various holidays with Maria, etc.

So I guess in the traditional sense of affection, I’d say Natasha but their both so in love that it’s kind of hard to tell
