Thank you! In that particular event, they'd definitely get things explained to them, and then they'd be expected to fuck off and mind their own business. Criminal executions are, ideally, a personal matter - it takes something like Brokenstar aggravating every single Clan at once for the neighbors to get involved. Some patrols may be tempted to hang around close by, in case the criminal gets loose and runs and their native Clan needs help catching them, but generally they don't. No one likes being near a death so personal and heartbreaking.
