The Dalai Lama once said, 'The purpose of our lives is to be happy.' I've often struggled with finding my own purpose, facing numerous setbacks along the way. However, I realized that when I started prioritizing things that brought me happiness, life became more manageable. It's still challenging, but by choosing to focus on what makes me happy, many aspects of my life have improved. I've learned that happiness is a journey, and it's okay to prioritize my own well-being.

জিহাদের আভিধানিক অর্থ সংগ্রাম বা প্রচেষ্টা, এবং এর অর্থ পবিত্র যুদ্ধের চেয়ে অনেক বেশি। মুসলমানরা জিহাদ শব্দটি ব্যবহার করে তিনটি ভিন্ন ধরণের সংগ্রামকে বর্ণনা করতে: একজন বিশ্বাসীর অভ্যন্তরীণ সংগ্রাম মুসলিম বিশ্বাসকে যতটা সম্ভব বাঁচানোর জন্য। একটি সুন্দর মুসলিম সমাজ গড়ার সংগ্রাম।
ইসলামে জিহাদ কি?
কোরানে জিহাদ একটি বিস্তৃত পরিভাষা এবং এর মৌলিক অর্থ হল 'সংগ্রাম', 'প্রচেষ্টা' এবং 'পরিশ্রম'। যখন জিহাদ শব্দটি (বা এর উদ্ভূত) শব্দটি ফি সাবিল আল্লাহ (আক্ষরিক অর্থে, 'আল্লাহর পথে') শব্দগুচ্ছের সাথে যুক্ত হয়, তখন আরবি ভাষায় পূর্ণ অভিব্যক্তি, আল-জিহাদ ফি সাবিল আল্লাহ, এর অর্থ হল 'সংগ্রাম/প্রচেষ্টা আল্লাহ সুবহানাহু ওয়া তায়ালার পথে।
কেন জিহাদ?
জিহাদের গুরুত্ব কোরানের নির্দেশে নিহিত রয়েছে যে নিজেকে আল্লাহর পথে “সংগ্রাম বা প্রচেষ্টা” (জিহাদ শব্দের আভিধানিক অর্থ)। মুসলমানদের আত্ম-বোধ, তাকওয়া, সংঘবদ্ধতা, সম্প্রসারণ এবং প্রতিরক্ষার জন্য কুরআনের শিক্ষাগুলি অপরিহার্য তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ।
জিহাদ কিভাবে মুসলমানদের প্রভাবিত করে?
বৃহত্তর জিহাদে বিশ্বাস মুসলমানদের জীবনকে প্রভাবিত করে কারণ এটি প্রতিদিনের সংগ্রামকে বোঝায় যা তারা ভোগ করে। উদাহরণস্বরূপ, অ্যালকোহলের মতো প্রলোভন এড়াতে সংগ্রাম। এটি মুসলমানদেরকে পাপ এড়ানোর জন্য ভাল আত্ম-শৃঙ্খলা থাকতে প্রভাবিত করে।

জিহাদের প্রতিরক্ষামূলক প্রকৃতি 2:190 এ স্পষ্টভাবে জোর দেওয়া হয়েছে, "এবং আল্লাহর পথে যুদ্ধ কর তাদের সাথে যারা তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করে, কিন্তু আগ্রাসন করো না: আল্লাহ আগ্রাসনকারীদের ভালবাসেন না।" বছরের পর বছর ধরে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সময়ে, মুহাম্মদ সঃ আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে প্রত্যাদেশ পেয়েছিলেন যা জিহাদের জন্য নির্দেশিকা প্রদান করেছিল।
