so... is charlie really a villain besides his demon-host role?

to be honest i really doubt he had such amount of time in this social experiment just to die right before the "end". he was intentionally made as a character who would make ranboo get back for him and loose their chance to escape

and we actually never seen him die from wire monster, but as we saw before and after that it wasn't a problem for SFM to show dead people. we saw a huge cut on hetch, a dead employee and, of course, ranboo's brutal death, but they didn't showed charlie even bleed. and that's fucking sus. instead of that we heard him fuse with the wire monster and lead ranboo to the trap he couldn't actually know about because he supposedly never knew that even cabin was a set, but HE KNEW THERE IS A BUTTON BEHIND THIS SET WHAT WOULD "HELP" RANBOO

my theory is that showfall knew ranboo has a chance to escape, so they wrote a character that ranboo will care enough to go back for. a character who would be a wolf in sheep's clothing, whos sign says "lies" with blood, who s being near ranboo all the time to make sure sfm won't lost him in the mall. a character who will lead ranboo in the right, scripted direction, who will make them believe they are not alone

it FRUSTRATES me to no end when patients tell me stories of the bad experiences they had with their healthcare providers :(

I mean. When a patient comes in with research and a self diagnosis, DONT BE MAD?!?!? THEY'RE ACTUALLY HELPING!!! I appreciate it when they do actually. It's a GOOD THING. Work WITH your patients gooddamit.

AND PLS fortheloveofgod if its an initial consult, plsss as much as possible TAKE YOUR TIME (even if the healthcare system sucks / doesnt allow us to).

Coding toyhouse pages fucking sucks

#was trying to figure something out for like an hour earlier and asked the help page and #it turned out I typed p-3 instead of px-3.#having a category 5 allignment problem which is insane bc I’m working with columns meaning everything should be going fine #always thought I wanted to do coding stuff and then the second I get into any code I just want to burn it to the ground #i don’t have the patience for it. it’d be fun to work with PCs physically tho #like working in that place at best buy where you bring in your broken shit and they fix it #i feel like most pcs that go thru there are probably just full of bloatware or viruses anyways #but I’ve found im pretty good with the physical parts of a computer. just not coding it drives me insane #why can’t you just know what I want you to do I am going to explode #sassy speaks #edit figured out the allignment thing once again it was super fucking easy #ml-1 instead of mr-1 modern movies we’re right technology bad

Angel and Husk come from the same stand points when it comes to your blind eye, but they handle it differently

Obviously, they both help you when need be due to your blind eye, but Angel tends to dote on you a lot more. Husk can only do so much before he’s reached his ‘kindness meter’ for the day XD (jk obvi)

They both care about your safety, but honestly, Angel loves the fact that you’re a fighter, it makes ya like a badass hottie. But Husk still is sure to warn you about maintaining safety, even with the blind eye.

But at the end of day, as long as you not hurting him, he could give less of a shit, and if you tried? Angel’s turning into a shield haha

platonic!Vaggie

You two became friends back in Heaven, and reunited in Hell, as you both fell from Heaven for roughly the same reason

After losing your eye from Adam and Lute, you were scared to fight again, but Vaggie pulled you right back in !

She trained you basically every day, constantly throwing spears or punching a punching bag or literally anything

You two became a role model for the other and you really looked up to and cared for eachother as friends

Height fact checking - 2023 edition

Dear all, do you remember this?

Back in 2022, when the only good grill the grid video came out, I decided to factcheck the height the drivers claimed to be with this grid photo of them through complicated and absurd calculations.

The whole thing was kinda shit because they were walking and had fluffy hair in the wind and it was highly inaccurate.

Well.

It's time for round 2!

It took me hours to correct the perspective the best I could. Then I applied the same logic than last time which was fiding a px/cm ratio based on one of the drivers to infer the others' height. It got complicated. I had to do 2 series of measures because the ones on the platform are further away than the ones at the front. You also want to pick someone towards the middle of the photo as a benchmark because they're least subject to lense deformation but for the lower rank it meant not seeing their feet and in the upper rank, I saw on another photo angle that Guanyu was standing back compared to the others. In the end, I used Valtteri and Max as benchmarks. I used lines based on the platform and relative position of the drivers to get an idea of where their feet were and get a base to measure from.

Here's what I found :

You can tell I did not correct the perspective well enough because there are consistent error trends as you move further from the middle, although the green lines tell you that the platform measures pretty much the same thing from one side to the other. The results are way more accurate than last time but it's still just a silly little fun thing so don't take it too seriously!

Detailed comments under the cut :

Max was used as a benchmark so I have no comments about that. Sergio measures 173cm as he said. Last time I found him to be slightly taller than that. Once again, I argue that Seb is wrong, whatever he thinks, Charles is indeed 180cm.

On the platform, you can tell Guanyu was indeed standing back as I said, because he appears smaller than he is and what I found last time. In 2022, Lando seemed to be much shorter than he actually is but he had a weird position. It seems correct this time. Of course Piastri wasn't there last year. I found online he's listed as measuring 178cm. I found 177 which is not far off. Valtteri was the benchmark so no comments about that. In 2022 he was positioned on one of the side which means more probability of him being in a weird perspective which probably explains the off measurement.

Now that's were it starts to get tricky. On the ground rank, George and Lewis seem to have accurate heights. In 2022, Lewis was the benchmark which explains the neat 174cm. In 2023 he is ~174cm EVEN THOUGH he's standing on his tippy toes. Yep. He is. If you look carefully at his right foot, you can see his heel is not on the ground. Silly short king.

But on the upper rank, we start to see an error trend. Lance is the right height, he seemed way taller in 2022 but it might just be down to fluffy hair. Alonso is a weird case because he's 1cm taller than he claims AND that was also the case in 2022. He might just be wrong about how tall he is lol. And then we see both Alpha Tauri boys are pretty much 1cm taller than they claim. That's probably down to perspective issues. It's kinda weird that they only affect the top rank and not the bottom rank but then again, Nyck and Yuki are further left than George and Lewis so it might be because of that.

And here we have issues.

Bottom rank : Carlos +1.5 ; Pierre + 2.75, Este + 1.25. In the video, one of the tall drivers said the tall drivers have terrible posture. My bet is if Este was standing straight his measurement would be even more off and we could see a clear trend of people gaining cm the more to the right of the picture they are. That's down to me not correcting well enough despite my efforts rather than them lying. How do I know?

Because the same thing happened on the top rank : Hulkenberg +1 ; Magnussen +2 ; Alex +2 ; Sargeant +1.5. We find ourselves with a similar case of people gradually gaining centimetres the further right they are. Sargeant is a weird anomaly. Either

he's shorter than he claims to be and the difference is closer to 2 or 2.5,

he's standing closer to the camera than the others are, but it's difficult to say because we can't see Alex's feet although when I look at the Haas boys feet compared to his it doesn't really seem to be the case

something is really really weird with the perspective being warped like ⬇️ this even though the lines around them are straight? 🤔 Seems weird to me.

Anyway here's a summary of the errors trends :

Conclusion : the height claims are boringly mostly accurate.

alright roleplayers, im not even going to lie — not being able to format posts in the true Vintage Tumblr Style™ has actually pissed me off so bad... anyways, if you want to bring back the old text, this is how you do it.

just for transparency’s sake, this will not force tiny text on people who do not follow the tutorial, so its a win win for us who like that ye olde ant sized tumblr text and those that don’t. it also works with the post editor!

—— i am not a pro coder or teacher, therefore my terminology may be off. i tried my best to illustrate & visualize everything, though !!

1. what you’re going to want to do is download the stylus extension from the extension store ( mozilla & chrome ), not stylish. ( stylish steals browser history and shit. stylish bad. )

2. when the extension is installed, select “find styles” from the extension menu, and look up “no more small text”. the correct style should have a pic of jenna marbles on the dash as the thumbnail lol.

3. alright ! we got the ‘no more small text’ extension. it sounds counter productive, but it’s not ! it edits the text function, so now all we have to do is edit the font size it changes the tag to. to do this, click the little pen next to the name of the extension.

4. this should open a new page with a text editor containing the code for the script. pay no attention to any code except the chunk shown below. see that circled green text ? that's what we're changing.

i haven't messed with em as unit for font size (i'm used to px), but i've found that 0.82em is a pretty good size to use for smaller text, however, you can mess around with the font size to make it as big or little as you want. after adjusting, your code should look like this:

5. after this, you're pretty much done! this will basically change the font size of anything under the functions on your dashboard to your desired size. all you have to do is hit the save button to the left of the style editor page. maybe even rename it to small text or something so it's not confusing in the future.

but.... if you want to be greedy and bring back that sweet text from before, like, 2020, you're gonna add a little vertical-align attribute.

6. DIRECTLY after the font size styling, and BEFORE the closing } we're gonna add this: vertical-align: 3px!important; if pasted correctly, your code should now look like this:

the vertical-align tag will add an offset to the text under the function, simulating the look of the old tag combination. we can't actually bring back real text because, as far as i'm aware, tumblr blocks it. just like with the prior step, mess around with the amount of vertical align to your hearts content ! after this you're finished, like actually finished.

Here’s a look at the pile of hands I bought from DDE from what they had in stock.

Unfortunately, absolutely none of the natural skin hands fit my pale babes due to them being on old bodies that Fairyland doesn’t produce anymore. I’ve known for years that the old bodies were pretty decently thicker (and taller) than what FL has been producing these days, but that thought completely slipped my mind when I was making my purchase. Dx

I actually can force the new hands onto Keigo and Hiei, but the fit is more snug than I feel comfortable without modifying the pieces. Naoko absolutely needs the new pieces to be modified though since she is from 2008 (whereas both boys are more recent with any shrinkages older Fairyland sculpts have gone through over the years).

On the bright side, Lilith finally has hands that fit pretty much perfectly. Too bad DDE didn’t have more tan hands available in stock. Hope FL rereleases the new parts in the future. Px

Wish I’d realized this would probably be an issue before buying because I’d have probably opted for more hands for Farai or gotten some of the old hand pieces for Keigo instead.

Anyway, planning to carve into all the pieces, but it’ll probably have to wait until it’s warmer outside so I can do that shit out on the porch.

Also, in case you didn’t know about the size differences between the MNF bodies, here’s an old comparison photo I made a few years ago.

i'll preface this by saying i really don't know much about this, i used to google ideal dimensions for tumblr like a year ago but i kind of gave up on that. the dimensions i use are made up and i got them through trial and error, i truly do not understand the math or technology behind it lol.

i take cas sc in 3000x3000 with srwe. my portraits are usually cropped to 5x7 in and i export them at 1428x2000 px. i generally just make the highest px value on export 2000 and that works for me! here's how a normal portrait for me would look upon export:

and they're not freckles! the red on her cheeks is rosacea! I actually added it not that long ago to my design of her, alongside the beauty marks xD
