Sorry for bringing up the Pyokeke drama topic that happened way back at 2015, but it's been a very long time and Pyo sadly still hasn't come back. He's possibly very calmed after the (stupidly horrible) drama by now, but I'm trying to guess: Maybe Pyo's gonna be off the internet for eternity since he doesn't want more drama happening once he comes back. -Wannur

On topic of my first ask, finding out about the drama made me feel bad for Pyokeke, tbh, coming from a Mogeko fan herself who also has ocs that draw using inspired art styles. I mean, harassing someone just because they have a similar art style to someone else's is really stupid, especially if they claim said someone is "stealing" said someone else's art style. Like, you can't really copyright an art style. I sure hope this type of drama will not happen to everyone else, either... -Wannur

The entire drama was further muddled by one person harassing Pyo on tumblr to get back at ANOTHER person on tumblr  It’s was ridiculous.

the PM drama ended in the best way possible, as one of my followers pointed out.  Wecoc is cool with his art being used, no one was burned at the stake, and me and a few others are trying to find other assets around the net so the team can either source it in the read me, ask permission to use it, or edit it out.  so much better than the pyokeke and ib dramas indeed

Seems like things are blowing up again. Can’t people leave old drama in the past where it belongs? I’d suggest not feeding the trolls. If they have no fire they can’t get burning. Thus, they’ll stop tormenting poor pyokeke. I’m hesitant to reblog anything regarding the drama because I feel like I’m giving people ammo or providing them with the rash idea that they should go and stir the pot. Honestly, no matter how much you want to say something vulgar or terrible to this person I advise against it, you only give them more reasons to stay around and cause more damage.

On that note I removed my previous FAQ question on my blog about pyokeke and now I’m going to put down a question on the faq that says “enough about pyokeke bro” since there’s a few people who say something about it once every season.  (I’m not mad, it’s just that it’s so far in the past I don’t feel like answering questions anymore so i’m gonna be lazy and put it there! :P)

Wanted to note appreciation for everyone trying to defend what they think is right. I think a lot of people tried to step up for justice or to protect folks on both sides, even if other people disagreed with them. That being said, I hope we can all get along a little more courteously-- it's very saddening to see the RPG Maker community fighting amongst themselves. A very serious issue, but concerned that this scale and particular manner seem very painful and taxing on everyone.

Yeah, I have no quarrels with those who tried to defend Pocket Mirror.  They were right to stand up and give them a chance, and I appreciate anyone who has a second opinion.  c:

i can't believe a lot of people want to turn a blind eye to art theft and think it's ok to personally insult someone. it's easy for them to pick on someone they see smaller than the pm team than hold them accountable. thank you for looking after artists and the community.

I don’t think it’s as many people as you expect - it’s just that not many people want to get involved in drama.  I’m sure one or two of the people out there still have scars from the Pyokeke & Ib drama.

I can see where they side with the developers, but man, that was an awful apology and they still didn’t apologize for the art theft.  I didn’t insult the once, either :c

No problem, let’s all try to be excellent to each other :)

there was this one artist who got shit for having a style similar to mogeko and i remember the fandom went crazy, who was that again?

Pyokeke/Pyotori. It wasn’t everyone, it was maybe 2 or 3 people at most who were being a dick, but the fandom did go crazy at their existence & the fact that one or two people being a dick to Pyo drove him away.  You can find a post I did on my personal that sums up the events here, and you can check out the Pyokeke Drama tag if you really want to dig through everything (although I think you just wanted to know their name).

That was a shitty 2 month drama I tell you.

I won’t answer any more ask about Pyokeke from now on btw.  These are my last thoughts on the subject as someone has asked me about the whole debacle on my personal.

I suppose if you want to keep me informed you can still send me things, but I won’t be answering anons or anything like that.
