The sun was coming up when Viivi was done cleaning. She took a shower and thought she’d finish that school project she’d been procrastinating on.

Nahhh...I will sleep and then ask Josh to come over and help. He loves these hands-on projects.

Josh did come over that evening, but he refused to make this any easier for her. Viivi was going to have to do the work.

Josh was warming up to the idea of Viivi becoming an immortal. She was near the end of high school. He had only been a vampire for a few years and was in his senior year when tragedy struck.

When they first met, Viivi was very adamant that her and Josh just had bad chemistry. She hated how laid back he was. He is a dreamer and she is a realist. It was hard enough being friends. Viivi may have book smarts, but her aptitude for dealing with others was not the best. She preferred to stay in her own head.

All that has changed though. Viiv got to know him and found out they enjoyed spending time together. She is quite different than when they first met. Is this her? Could she really handle being with him..forever..?
