🖤 Qijiu Week day 5: body swap + day 6: gentle hands/rough hands 💚

Okay at first I just doodled just the first drawing, but then I went way overboard when I made the comics; I'm using them for the next prompt too to give my poor hand a break. 😆

For day 6, I originally had something more literal planned but my own hand hurts so to be gentle to it, here's an abstract take!: the rough hands = SJ's strict teaching style and the gentle hands = YQY's more lax teaching style 😅

Day 3 Arranged Marriage or Fake Dating

When rumours came about that Shen Qingqiu was dating Liu Qingge, Yue Qingyuan finally lost the cool that he had been hanging onto for the past decade.

He knew that he should have told Xiao Jiu the truth long ago, knew that he should have cleared the air between them before it got to this point, knew that he shouldn't have kept his feelings a secret.

Now he was going to lose his Xiao Jiu to the Bai Zhan Peak Lord, who had finally learned to get along with Shen Qingqiu ever since the Qing Jing Peak Lord saved him in the Lingxi caves.

He really was the fool that Xiao Jiu always accused him of being.

When he confronted Shen Qingqiu about the rumours, the younger man just looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"I see no point in which this concerns you in anyway," Shen Qingqiu said. "But if you are concerned on behalf of Liu Qingge, you don't need to worry. This farce was only a rumour we sparked up to curb his parents from trying to matchmake him."

"But why?" Why with you? He doesn't say but was thinking it. Later, on retrospect, it was a good thing he didn't because Qingqiu would probably have misunderstood what he meant and think that Yue Qingyuan was implying that Shen Qingqiu was unworthy of Liu Qingge when, in fact, it was the other way round.

"He said there's someone he's interested in so he doesn't want to have an arranged marriage," Shen Qingqiu replied with an elegant shrug.

It was at this moment that Yue Qingyuan had a moment of clarity and realised that Liu Qingge was more diabolical than he looked or acted.

Two weeks of Xiao Jiu following him around, existing in his periphery, only slipping away for a few hours in the morning to teach his students. Even then he returns the moment the lessons are over, never lingering for longer than he needs to.

Presumably he went back to his Peak at night to change his clothes, but Yue Qingyuan has never seen him leave.

In which Shen Qingqiu gets a second chance, but is still allergic to talking it out. Instead, why shouldn’t he plaster himself to Yue Qingyuan’s side and refuse to leave?

For months Xiao Jiu wondered how it would be when Qi-ge finally went back for him. Usually, he imagined he would receive a secret note or hear an unexpected whisper from out of nowhere telling him to wait for him in the courtyard by midnight. Then they would escape gliding through the roofs, flying on swords or clumsily jumping to the other side of the fence. Other times he imagined it would be while he walked behind Qiu Haitang on the market. Qi-ge would take advantage of the crowd and would take his hand as soon as the girl and her other servants went out of sight. Very rarely he imagined Qi-ge would come back for him through the front door. He would demand Xiao Jiu be freed and then they would walk together hand in hand as Qiu Jianluo watched helplessly. Yet, he never imagined he would bring other cultivators with him.

Xiao Jiu never thought anyone besides Qi-ge would be interested in helping him.

🖤 Qijiu week day 4: ghosts 💚

As soon as I saw this prompt I knew I'd use it to add to the SVSSS JSHK AU that I want to write eventually. 😆

YQY has the role of Aoi Akane and SJ has the role of Akane Aoi (although some things are shifted around to better fit the SV-verse)!

So YQY as Aoi Akane in this AU means that he's human but forced to be a supernatural by the other members that make up the Clock-keepers (one of the school's seven mysteries). He has the ability to stop time.

SJ is Akane Aoi but will also have some Minamoto Teru sprinkled in, except he's the older brother of SY (who's Yashiro Nene in this AU, obviously) and not LQG (who's Minamoto Kou).

And uhh. There's other details that I sorted out that's slightly different in this AU but I want to try writing it eventually so it'd be hard to explain it all here.

Most of the demons have been assigned roles as supernaturals, but not all of the supernaturals are demons. I spent way too long sorting out the details last night instead of sleeping. 😂

But I hope you enjoy this new crumb to the AU!

Finally, some ⚠️ SPOILERS! ⚠️ because yeah if you know Akane and Aoi's story this is a liiiittle knife-y but I swear I gave them the roles before the recent arc with Aoi happened!! 💦
