Hi! I was wondering if I could request Nikola, Buddha, Raiden and Qin (if that's too much you can take Raiden out) with a fem reader (s/o) that's a sleepy god? reader is pretty strong, almost stronger than the supreme gods, but she's really calm and likes to nap most of the times, like, with Nikola when he's writing something down or working on something she lays her head on his lap and falls asleep, with Buddha when he's just eating snacks and chilling she just lays on his chest and sleeps, with Qin when he's looking over some work he needs to do as the emperor she just lays at his side and proceeds to take a nap right there, and she just uses Raiden as a huge pillow/bed because of tall this man is (he's like 8ft tall or something)

I admit that I felt bad for Raiden so I broke my rule for 3 characters at max 😅 Our big boy deserves more love ♡

Your head was carefully laying on his lap. Nikola sat on the couch just for you;to grant you the sleep you deserve. Your strength was out of the world, but it required you so much energy you could even fall asleep while standing. His voice was barely a whisper as he went on with reading reports about his latest invention. The sweet sound making your sleep come faster.

A, not so, subtle smile graced Buddha's lips as he watched you struggling keeping yourself awake while meditating. A strong deity like you had so much steam to release, or so he thought. In the end, you could just take a simple walk in the gardens; immediately after you were knocked out and sleeping. It was amusing to him. Buddha sucked on his lollipop as you fell on the grass, face flat. His laugh made you jump, but you forgave him when he pulled you on his lap;letting you sleep there.

You had a boring meeting with some other gods. It was quite boring, leaving you a desire to crawl in your bed and sleep. You entered your room. Qin was there, re-ordering scrolls. You gave a quick glance to him. Your body hit the mattress and fell asleep instantly. Qin blinked, then shrugged his shoulders with a little smile.A short nap was tempting for the emperor now.

There was a big difference between you and Raiden. He was eager to blow off some steam with a good fight while you were more on the calm side. Yet he has managed to convince you to playful wrestle with him.  As you were expecting this tire you to the point you soon were asleep. Raiden was laying on the mattress;his eyes closed as one of his muscular arms were wrapped around your back. The sound of your breaths was the only one to break the silence. You slept peacefully on top of him.

Analyzing The Mandalorian’s Fighting Styles — “The Prisoner”

Part I

Word count: 895

One thing I really liked about Mando’s retribution in “The Prisoner” episode is that it was in line with his character, and it furthers my gripes with season 2 specifically because “The Prisoner” reinforces that Mando is a hunter, and a lethally efficient one at that. Hunters lie in wait and plan their moves from afar, observing and stalking their prey as they move silently and decisively, calculating the entire time.

Mando breaks out of the cell and immediately goes for the command center, which by his ability to act efficiently there tells us he was likely making observations about the room when they were there the first time. Mando is constantly aware of his surroundings and is always thinking of the multiple possible outcomes of a situation at any given time. He knew or intuited how to re-route the crew and override security measures, blocking corridors and dropping the walls between hallways, and did so quickly while planning as he went.

In the control center we see him cut the crew off and redirect them in specific ways that will put him at an advantage: by pairing Mayfeld with Qin, he puts Mayfeld at the disadvantage, knowing he was the new guy— Qin has no reason to care about Mayfeld because there was no prior connection between the two of them. Qin’s also unarmed until he takes one of Mayfeld’s guns (further disadvantaging one of the crew), and Mando knows he’s only going to look out for himself regardless of whether X’ian is his sister or not. Qin’s the most likely to just bail on the rest and make for the first escape he can find.

Divide and conquer.

Mayfeld is a sharpshooter so by turning off all the lights and knowing the alarm lights will be flickering, he’s taken away Mayfeld’s ability to even see what he could be shooting at. Stalking Mayfeld in the dark and moving with him allows Mando to close the gap so he can overpower him at close range, which wouldn’t be a sharpshooter’s forte.

When Mando sees Burg and X’ian split up he redirects Burg to the command center because the only way he can hope to defeat him is by literally getting the high ground, which wouldn’t be found anywhere else on the ship they have access to. Burg’s the strongest so he needs to eliminate him first; if any of the others were to team up on him he could still win that fight, but Burg tips the scales too much for Mando to not get him out of the equation entirely.

The command center is the only place Mando could get the upper hand on Burg and he knows he can’t go up against the Devaronian in a contest of brute strength, so he lies in wait in the grating above, hoping he can string Burg up and cut him off with a trap. Obviously Burg is able to yank him down and Mando has to improvise from there, but even though Mando doesn’t succeed in a close quarters fight, he’s still setting up advantages for later (like by getting both of Burg’s sidearms while his hands are occupied, even if Mando wasn’t able to shoot Burg with them).

What’s interesting about X’ian is that if you notice just before their knife fight, it almost seems like X’ian realizes he’s there because she can smell him. What makes his fight with her a challenge is that we can tell shes’s also a hunter, and she’s deadly from afar— Even for as many knives as she throws that he’s able to deflect, one of them still lands in his shoulder. They may have equal skill with blades, but the key for him here is that if he keeps moving forward he knows if he can close the gap between them where he’ll have the advantage of bulk muscle and physical strength. It’s also better to get her to expend her arsenal now so she doesn’t have anything left when he has to remain in close proximity as he drags her back to the cell.

All of these skills demonstrate his powers of observation and ability to predict what his enemies will do next. Mando planting the distress beacon on Qin was him knowing the New Republic would show up at the chop shop. He anticipates Ran’s betrayal, he knows Qin would have no idea what the beacon was (thereby preventing him from acting on its presence and implications the second he saw it), and he knows what the New Republic will do, thereby clearing his escape of any pursuers

One of the first teachings of fight choreography is that a fight happens when words stop being effective, and that any fight within a narrative is a story in itself. Fights are character-driven and the results should further reinforce those characters, and/or change the story for the characters involved in a significant way. Every action in this episode reinforces the idea that Mando thinks ahead, thinks on his feet, and does his best fighting when he’s able to be a hunter. He’s just as smart, stealthy, and capable in the more subtle aspects of his craft as he is in an all out fight, and I wish they’d kept that characterization beyond the first season because it’s integral to how this guy operates within this world.

Wow, there seem to be a lot of juicy stories among the upper class Fire Nation!

Do you have anything of that sort on War Minister Qin or did you actually manage to have a completely professional relationship with him? And whatever became of him, does he work for Zuko now?

Ah yes, the overseer of military technology. Of course our relationship was entirely professional, but that does not mean I don't have interesting information about him. Azula is not the only gossip in this family, Iroh too.

Minister Qin is actually closer in age to Iroh than me, plus he served under him for a while, so he probably has more information than I do (and I'm not willing to ask him. The last thing I saw in the social media of the lonely widow he is consoling is that they were on vacation. Iroh will never change). But it was obvious to everyone that Minister Qin had certain... eccentricities. Before, he never washed his hair or changed his clothes, because it ruined his 'genius inspiration'. As a result, he always reeked of old onions. When Azula was six, she pushed him into the turtleduck pond and then threw soap at his head. Ursa had the nerve to ground her for that, when what she should have done was to thank her for her service to the nation. When I took the throne, my first order was to decree that all ministers (Qin) had to take a bath once every two days. Maybe he was right though, because after I ordered him to take a bath he started having problems with his inventions.

Then there are the things Iroh once told, but I don't think he's a reliable source. Iroh said that Qin was a member of an urban group known as 'cosplayers', a special class of theater-loving clowns, but without the theater (so, like Ursa, but without the protection of the crown). Apparently Iroh once found costumes in his closet, disguises of the Painted Lady, Blue Spirit, Firelord Sozin, Avatar Szeto, and a bear.

I don't know if he is still Zuko's minister, because he was a war minister and we lost the war. There's also the fact that Zuko has a habit of putting everyone he does not like in prison for 'war crimes', ignoring other more active and responsible participants like Iroh (yes, Zuko will call everyone a war criminal except literally the army general for 30 years). At least Zuko is smart enough to know how nepotism works.

oc episode stuff:

-The Psyche Rescue Team escaped to Broomstown from Mirage City and hid in that "tire labyrinth." Their sudden appearance scared Spooky, and he contacted the Broomstown Rescue Team to extract them from the site. However, Amber noticed bruises on each of the PRT members and before she could come closer to aid them, the trio fled further into the labyrinth, but got stuck and caused chaos. Afterwards, the trio were sent to Jin for closer inspection, and they identified themselves as Lucky, Qin, and Midnight. It was tough for the BRT to interact with them, since the PRT came from an abusive director. Once they accepted the BRT's trust, the PRT were then taken a tour around Broomstown to get comfortable with their citizens. Then there's this psychological warfare between the PRT and their director over radio waves in the second half of this 2-part special. The BRT and Jin, plus the Mountain and Desert Rescue Teams, band together to prove they're the PRT's REAL studio!

-During a stormy mission to retrieve items stolen by pirates, Poli was knocked overboard into the crashing waves and was rescued by Isla. She takes him to the Aqua Rescue Team's base in Ripple Island. Poli meets Fisher and Khai, the latter being ART's leader. The police car disagreed with the boat's way of lazily leading a rescue team, but a picture frame leading to a story behind Khai's leadership becomes clear to Poli. He learns that ART's leader was an old friend of Sandy who Khai cut contact because of a near-death experience. They were reluctant to take risks because Khai didn't want to hurt people or their close ones, especially Fisher and Isla (who did the missions for their leader). Basically, Khai's barely in the frontlines themselves and Poli worked to fix that. They would then work together, including the other ART and BRT members, to take down the pirates who looted from Broomstown earlier in the episode. Afterwards, Khai wanted to send their apologies to Sandy, but Poli asked them if he can take them to Sandville in-vehicle. ART's leader was surprised their friend became a rescue team leader. "Her team would love to meet a friend of their leader." But Khai replies cryptically to Poli, "It's up to Sandy."

-The citizens of Broomstown are both annoyed and terrified of their new visitors. The BRT were dispatched to investigate the situation and found three unidentified vehicles surrounding an uncomfortable citizen. But the BRT found themselves faced with two UFOs, who poured hundreds of questions onto them, and they were escorted to the base to figure things out. The vehicles introduced themselves as the Space Rescue Team: Titan and Titania are the leaders, Altair is the reconnoiterer, and Luno is the "traveling box." They wanted to find a better planet to live in, since their previous one is struck by constant war. The BRT offered to help, but the SRT denied it since the current conditions on their home planet are dangerous. Later on, the SRT and BRT have to work together to deflect an incoming asteroid from their planet and the SRT decided to make their home at the atmosphere of Earth (since, as a rescue team, they decide to look after the planet in their satellite-like base Titan and Titania made). Unlike the PRT and before they were picked up by the BRT, the Space Rescue Team were welcomed by frustration from Broomstown's citizens since Titan and Titania, Altair, and Luno accidentally made a mess across the way (despite fixing them before the asteroid came in).
