So, I would really like to know wtf is going on w all that ghosting. I mean, we all are grown up people, can’t we just show others at least a little bit respect?

I mean, okay, sometimes both sides decide to disappear as they both are afraid of being this “weaker” one. Sometimes everything was about boredom and killing time so just naturally dies. But, um, I met a guy lately. And I felt we had pretty much in common. Like for the first time in a long time someone just cared about what I’m saying and it seemed we think in a similar way on many pretty serious topics. I tell you, new lvl of talk! But hey, I know how it works so deep inside I had this anxiety that this will just randomly die. We both live alone and situation was pretty stressful lately so I asked him if he’d like to meet someday. Just to have sth to keep me sane. We decided to meet in a few days but in the next morning he just asked me for a walk. And everything was okay until like 3 hours before the meeting when I felt I missed sth. I texted him I’m ready, so what’s up w him and got blurry messages about what he’s doing in the moment, like “sitting, preparing dinner, real quarantine hours.” So I asked if he still wanna go out and got replied “can I just eat first?” which sounded kinda passive aggressive for me, but okay, I waited. It took him 1,5 hour to text me back while I still didn’t know what to do and if we are gonna meet. Finally we did but I was v tired and also confused about all that situation so the meeting was kinda awkward. But you know, it usually takes some time when you are meeting new person offline. Also, I felt that’s all, like during those 3 hours he just made a decision. I texted him later few times as I really didn’t like to leave this so awkward but his responses were just curt. 

And this just bothers me now. I mean, we both live alone, situation is getting worse and worse, and I would just expect a casual question about how I’m doing or anything. I don’t have any big expectations and okay, we don’t have to meet ever again. But he said me before I can tell him about everything if I need to and I liked that idea there’s someone who cares at least a little bit, it was helping me stay sane during last days. I just don’t know what happened, because nothing really happened but suddenly everything changed AND I don’t understand why people just can’t support each others in these hard days.

It’s not like ghosting is something new for me, but every time just hurts when you open up for someone and then you get cut off without even simple explanation. Please, don’t do that to each other. Everyone deserves a closure.
