Prologue

(Bad grammar my first time writing a fanfic)

“This is an outrage!”

“Monster Lover!”

“Monster!”

“She is just like Lucifer..”

“Eclipsa…” said a voice shaking a bit before they could say anything she interrupted them “it’s alright my friend.” Her back facing them, watching the horizon before her it will be her last,it’s almost as she knew what would be in store for her “I have tried my best but it appears my best wasn’t enough..”

Before facing them with a gentle smile still on her face even though of the hate and pain that is happening around them she is still smiling through it all..

With a gentle smile still on her face, despite what is happening, she remained resilient. "Just remember what I taught you. Promise me that you and Lilith will take care of each other once..." She trailed off, hesitating for a moment before continuing,

“Once I’m gone”

She observed as they try to stop what will happen to her, but they weren’t able to reach her as they were force back where they once came from, she then turned to face the angels. Wand in hand, eyes filled with determination, her face neutral yet courageous. She was not going down without a fight. A purple light glow began to emanate from her wand, as while her cheek marks shaped like spades..

She makes the first move…

Nameless Day (Dark Goddess) - December 22nd

There is only one day when the tree calendar is not mentioned at all.

It is 22 December, a special day, known as Nameless Day, which holds a special place in folklore and legend. On this day, when the 'king of the waning half-year' had disappeared into darkness and the 'king of the rising half-year' had yet to be born, it was customary to fast to placate the queen in the dark layer. As people fast, the Queen of Darkness allows the sun to return to the world, that is, a new year dawns once more.

No tree is given a name, and the darkest day is dedicated to Morrigan, goddess of death and destruction.

The goddess, whose name means "great queen" or "phantom queen” in Modern Irish, appears in the Arthurian tales as the king's sister under the name Morgan le Fay (the original meaning of le Fay was 'fate'). People were in awe of this queen, who was transformed into a raven.

いかなる木にも名前が与えられず、最も闇が深いこの1日は、死と破壊の女神モリガンに捧げられている。

アイルランドの言葉で「偉大なる女王」「幻の女王」を意味するこの女神は、モルガン・ル・フェイ (ル・フェイの元来の意味は「運命」)の名でアーサー王物語に王の姉として登場する。人々はワタリガラスに変身したこの女王に畏怖の念を抱いていた。

Justice THT Style - Part 3 - Serena

Today I'm going to be taking a look at the style of Justice favoured by our resident Queen of Darkness: Serena.

So what type of justice does Serena prefer? Retributive, like you even had to ask. Pick an episode at random (season 1 and 2 seems to be her tour de force) and you’ll find Serena making some scathing remark or plotting some malicious act of revenge. Serena likes to think she’s the smartest person in the room at all times and becomes viperous when she’s unable to manipulate those around her to her satisfaction. Serena seems to think that if only she could get her talons on a baby, she might be able fill the black bottomless pit where once her soul resided....and that's where June comes in. Far from being the compliant baby mama that Serena was hoping for, June is an unholy handful who's determined to make Serena bleed for it. Serena, is herself, an extremely capable adversary who never disappoints when it comes to awe inspiring acts of viciousness. We’ve seen her arrange for June to be raped, personally strangled, beaten, imprisoned and possibly most cruelly of all, kept her separated her from her daughter AND her baby.

She’s fully aware that Nick and June are deeply in love and she arranged for him to be married off to a child bride when he dared ask Serena to get the ailing June a doctor. Revenge is definitely Serena’s favourite pastime, and let’s face it, she doesn’t have much else to do except for knit and garden. In Season 2, she invited June along to witness Nick being married off simply so she could gloat over her pain. Not the smartest move at that point as her handmaid was already on the edge and it was just the thing to tip her over.

Serena’s penchant for torturing June seems to stem from Fred’s obsession with her and the fact that June is extremely intelligent and resourceful which constantly puts Serena on the back foot. Not to be discouraged by June’s constant thwarting, like any good villain should, Serena just retires to her favourite plotting corner and begins again.

Serena can become blinded by her need for retribution, for the most part she’s extremely cunning but her avarice for revenge can sometimes outweigh good judgement. Serena visited Gilead with the single intention of taunting June with Hannah. Unfortunately Serena over estimated Gilead’s welcome wagon and had to return and face a vengeful, blood thirsty June…..not smart.

Season 5 saw Serena receive a dose of poetic justice with a mild form of Handmaid type servitude. It was still terrifying but nothing nearly as severe as what June endured at her hands. Whatever she was served comparatively wasn’t nearly enough to balance the scales of justice that Serena had spent the last 4 seasons jumping all over.

With retribution being such a consistent brand of justice for Serena I’m doubtful she’s suddenly going to change midstream and suddenly start “turning the other cheek”. S5 seemed to be Gilead’s “Empire Strikes Back” and I couldn’t help but notice that everyone who was made to pay up was considered an ally. Serena started paying up too, and this might be why I’m getting that witchy feeling she’s had a gut full of Gilead and is gearing up to rain some fire down on their parade.
