Fuck the thing about the Co-host call-out bs that fucks with me, as side from it being yet again a trans woman being targeted by "she's a sexual deviant, she's evil" and it being baselessly spread around by people who claim to be allies, is the "sucks too".

Like seriously the CEO of this site stalked a disabled trans sex worker, and leaked her personal information in an attempt to embarrass and silence her, and give ammunition to terfs and fash that would commit violence against her.

The staff are bigoted and believe 100% anything a terf or fash reports to them, they nuke POC and trans women's blogs out of existence over the slightest thing. They silence discussion of civil rights abuses, and they protect racists and terfs and actual Nazis.

The moderation on this site is provably bigoted and treats trans peoples bodies as inherently sexual to the point that all you need is to potentially imply that a trans person might be in it to get it taken down.

But yeah "this alternative sucks too because..." Checks notes "a trans woman who works on it may allegedly be into porn that makes me uncomfortable" yeah those things are fucking at all equal.

if anyone has no idea what I've been talking about recently, I suggest you go to @fanonical or @nyancrimew , who explain this better than I ever could, but from what I can tell, basically staff has been ignoring reports of harassment against trans women, one member of staff was actively banning trans users, and the CEO started a smear campaign against a trans woman because she jokingly said she wished he would get exploded with hammers (you know, the kind of thing I say regularly--because he wasn't doing anything to protect trans users and hired the aforementioned transphobic staff member), claiming that it was 'a death threat' and that she was 'being violent'....nevermind that she was getting much worse anon harassment with actual death threats on the regular. And then when he banned her and she went to a different site, he followed her there to continue the smear campaign instead of being normal and dropping the subject.

Sent a thing to tumblr, posting a copy here because they probably won't answer anyway:

Could you please explain to me how it's possible, that despite the anti-hate speech rule, transphobes, radical feminists and nazi-sympathizers who harrass and wish death upon trans, queer and even cis people are still allowed on your website? And why reporting their posts or entire blogs doesn't get them banned asap?

I could go through blogs for hours reporting hate-speech violations and somehow tumblr won't do anything about it. It's been an issue for years. Tumblr liked to claim they are the queerest website on the internet, yet you are hosting people who want us dead.

I would like to legitimately have a conversation about this. It's honestly so disgusting that tumblr would host such people on their website and despite them violating the rules, they get to stay. But queer people reclaiming their slurs positively get flagged or banned?

I will be awaiting an answer.
