Maybe I've just missed it, but I feel like there's not enough discussion on Catholic Jason Todd and his feelings on being seemingly resurrected by God Jeesie-Chreesie style.

Like, we as the readers know that it was a reality bending punch from Superboy Prime that brought Jason back, but in canon no one has any explanation at all for how that happened.

The Lazarus Pit fixed him, but he was already alive (just in super bad shape) to be fixed. He woke up in his own coffin and had to claw out of his own grave and no one in-universe can explain how or why it happened.

And that alone would fuck someone up, but add in Catholic Guilt (TM) and references to the resurrection floating around every Easter and Jason's gotta wonder at least a little bit if the Big G brought him back and if so has to absolutely agonize over what he's done with his big second chance.

I just wanna read 100k words of Jason's complicated feelings on his death, rebirth (resurrection?), Red Hood, God, Bruce and what it all means, if anyone's got any recs please share them I'm begging 😭

And let me tell you the queer power that Splatoon holds is so powerful that I, a nonbinary with genderfluid tendencies, once started questioning my identity so hard for an entire day thinking I was actually ftm transgender purely because my (trans) octoling boy looked SO good I was filled with absolute gender envy.

a lot of hermitcraft fan-designs and mcyt fan-designs and art in general have such a bias towards skinny bodies it’s crazy. like i guess most people just don’t think to learn or imagine their faves as any different from skinny but i really want people to learn because it’s yaknow not only important in a social justice perspective to learn how to draw differing body types but it makes for better lineups and more interesting designs!

its not just an mcyt issue if a character hasnt been given a specific body-type, skin tone, hell even hair type, the fandom defaults to skinny, white, hairless except for the always straight hair on their head and its frustrating!

BUT we are an mcyt blog so imma focus on us.

i do think that compared to other fandoms we do a good job with diversity of character design, however, we can do better. art is a powerful tool which informs how we see ourselves and all artist in this fandom can help normalize what has otherwise been labeled as "unattractive" by conventional standards. if you are an artist please explore different bodytypes, and hair texture, even different levels of body hair! because when you draw a character fat, with curly hair, with more body hair you get someone like me! i see those drawings and i appreciate and cherish that i can relate to the subject more and other people in the fandom do too.

and if you cannot draw thats okay, reblogging can be as equally as powerful as it helps spread art displaying diversity (: peace and love on planet minecraft and beyond ✌️

When Sprite and Tun were teasing each other in the locker room, Tun jokingly said that he wasn't important to Sprite now that Sprite has new friends, and Sprite jokingly told Tun he was old news.

Sprite told Tun he was being replaced as a best friend, but later when Sprite saw how upset First was in the locker room, there was no teasing.

First wouldn't even maintain eye contact with Sprite.

But the second Sprite confirmed that he sees the relationship he has with First differently than the rest, First looked at him.

The doubt that First holds in is clearly on display throughout this scene. Sprite has been nothing but nice to First for the past few weeks, but Zee was mean to him for years. First can't trust his feelings because he can't trust Zee.

So when Sprite questions First's behavior, First admits he is jealous, but every look First gives during the confession is him questioning his own feelings.

Is he allowed to feel this way? Is it okay to admit to it? Is he misreading Zee? Is he messing everything up?

Then, Sprite simply says his name and his face changes.

And that confirms every doubt First had.

I thought you were nice to me because you had feelings for me too.

He misunderstood. Zee was just being nice. He doesn't have a right to feel the way he does.

He is the problem.

But then, Sprite reaches out to him.

He brings First back. That touch makes First look at him again.

Who said I don't?

Another questioning look from First.

But this time, Sprite pulls him in for a kiss as an answer.

And that's why I'll be living in this episode all week.

I'm so down bad for Maddox and Ashlyn that my three favourite scenes are:

3. The Redlyn breakup - the chillest break up, Red supporting Ashlyn going after Maddox and the most insane storyline of Red realising he's bi because he kisses Seb

2. Just the entirety of Maddox during opening night - having an existential breakdown over your love life that you break the sound controls and then just give up on your stage manager duties and disappear (probably to help quinn)

1. The confession - a scene I want on repeat: the explanations of how afraid they are of how much they like the other then the "should we just stay friends?" Before having such a love induced make out their just completely ignore Carlos being there. (Also Maddison giving up and telling Maddox to stop coming back to her when she clearly likes Ashlyn... my baby just needed that push)

I love all my queer children but these two are the wlw so I love them just slightly more.

It begs the question, what's the rest of his house like? Does he have prohibitively tall cabinets so he has to stretch his arms up? Or are they short so he has to crouch down to reach anything? Is his bed way way high off the ground so he has to do a little bounce to get up on it? Or is it close to the ground so he feels super small while he's sleeping? I feel like the rest of the fandom looks down on the people who enjoy Eclipse because they think us liking him is indicative of us as people. He's a fictional character. A fictional character shouldn't be seen as a reflection of the person who has them as their favorite character. I never see fans of other characters ever get told their choice of character is indicative of them as a person, so why do Eclipse fans get treated differently than everyone else?
