Both physically abled and disabled people (yes, surprise, disabled people do this too, especially disabled people who don't use mobility aids talking to ones who do) need to stop fucking giving unsolicited "advice" to the disabled people they know. You get consent, clear confident consent ahead of time every time, or this disabled person asking for your advice, or you shut your mouth. That consent can be revoked at any time, and if it is then you shut your mouth then, too. Disabled people have enough to deal with without microaggressions, outwardly-caused self esteem or self doubt, and the overwhelming fear of being "too disabled" for people to deal with on their plate too, as well as the sickening feeling that unsolicited advice can so easily give.

If you care about disabled people, as strangers or friends or lovers or family or literally just people, you listen to them. Full fucking stop.

(Abled people don't talk in RBs your opinions aren't wanted or appreciated here. Disabled people who don't use/need/want mobility aids are on thin ice.)

QuillAndInk’s Amazon Wishlist

I don’t mention this super often in my tumblr but hellooo I’m homeless (living in a longterm youth shelter) and don’t have a bank account nor will I be able to get one for at least another month or two, can’t work most jobs due to a shitty wheelchair in a very unsafe (wet, uneven, etc) environment plus fatigue and no car or license, and just generally can’t earn money or buy things for myself.

That said, I have a lot of things I need despite having no way to by them for myself, so I’ve set up an Amazon wishlist with anything I can think of, be it wheelchair accessories (maybe even better tires or a better wheelchair if i can find them/get fitted) or stim toys (yee I’m Autistic and ADHD too) or other disability aids or fun things to make me happier! There’s a lot of diversity between items, both in terms of use and in cost. Some things cost up to... $40? Maybe? Tops? While the cheapest is $3 iirc, and most are around $10-20 iirc.

I’m going to reblog this post with the link in order to avoid this one getting hidden from people, it would mean so much if y’all could share or contribute to this. Pls consider this wishlist my equivalent of a k*o-fi or c*ashapp or something until I can get those, I’ll say the exact same thing a lot of content creators on here say and basically just say that if you enjoy my ao3 works you can support me directly through buying something small (or large, or any size) off my wishlist!

THERE IS ALSO NOTICEABLY MORE LIGHT THAN DARK IN HIS OUTFIT, AGAIN SHOWING THAT THE LIGHT WON AGAINST THE DARK, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS DARK IN HIM.

Alright, I'm maintagging this so all the din's haunted people will see it. I don't fucking care anymore, and you know what I'm absolutely mad that I even have to be the one to say this instead of it being common sense or a din's haunted person speaking up.

Side note, I'm super white so I can't speak on the culturally insensitive/racist side of this, and as such I don't focus on it because I'm really not sure I would say the right stuff, which is super important. That said, if any BIPOC or people who know what they're talking about want to add to that side please do!

If you write/draw/headcanon the darksaber as inherently evil, controlling, or terrifying, you are both using and cultivating culturally insensitive/racist stereotypes and literal ableism. Ableism, specifically, against plurality and schizoaffective disorders, two groups of people that are already heavily, violently villainized by modern media, especially horror, and Western society in general.

If you are a part of the Din's Haunted AU fanbase, specifically the most currently popular section/type, check your ableism, racism, and prejudices right fucking now. You are hurting real people and adding to real prejudice.

Did I expect to write 5.6k words on November 1st, crushing my previous wordiest day by about 1.4k? Nope! Did I? YUP!!

AND I wrote a little over 1k of roleplay too, even if I' not counting RP words on the website! I wrote 6.7k total yesterday!!! WHAT???

Which means that I could, theoretically, stop writing for two days without falling behind. Obviously I'm not going to do that lmao but I could and thats really really cool to me
