Brothers Finding Out a Lesser Demon with a Crush is “Moving In” on MC
You know, I like to show the good sides of our boys a lot… But how about the ugly for today? Let's let them just being mean, nasty, possessive little demons, huh? 
Full disclaimer: I almost didn’t post this because I received an answer post from @diavolosthots that ended up being distressingly similar to this idea about 3/4th of the way through drafting it. I’m posting it anyway because of the time I’ve already sunk into it but in exchange I will absolutely encourage you to read from @diavolosthots if you aren’t already. They’re a big reason why I’m making content to begin with and I love what they’ve done. Warning: their blog is a LOT less fluffy than mine (they probably wouldn't be into my stuff 😅) and has NSFW content so be prepared for that going in. If that’s not your thing then just give them a pass, cool?

Lucifer
Is honestly offended for them.
Don’t they know the caliber of demon MC rubs elbows with every day? Do they honestly think they’d stand a chance? Any one of his brothers would be more deserving than some lesser demon suitor and that even INCLUDES Mammon.
But of course, the real reason they’d stand no chance is because he wants the MC too and he’s not planning on sharing with or losing to someone who isn’t even worthy to be stuck under his boot...
He may lay down some… “discreet” hints for the poor demon to look elsewhere.
Things like advising Diavolo to make some emergency changes to the classes at RAD so they no longer share any class together or watching the demon extra closely for any minute slip up he can flag them for. If he could have them expelled for a dress code violation, he’d do it no sweat.
Okay, "discreet hints…" Flagrant misuses of power… Same difference right?
He may never come right out and say they should leave MC alone (why dignify the guy with such a response?) but if looks could kill then his “competition” would be utterly decimated by now. Especially if he ever catches the two in the same room... Yikes.
Mammon
Oooo buddy, he ain’t happy. He doesn’t even like sharing with his brothers and now some rando wants a piece too?? Nuh-uh. No way.
Takes the more direct approach and just confronts the guy when the MC isn’t around. It's good for the demon that Mammon doesn’t like resorting to violence if he doesn’t have to. Heated words and a threat or two will be exchanged then they can go their separate ways.
That can be the end of it if the guy backs off (as anyone with sense should). But if not…
When he makes a threat, and he’s serious about it, Mammon makes good on them.
He’ll come back to the House one night a little beat up, maybe with a few nicks and scratches. Of course he’ll want the MC to play nurse for him and he’ll be delighted if they accept (even if his tsundere ass won’t say it).
The lesser demon apparently dropped out of RAD the next day. No explanation given. He didn’t even step foot back on the school grounds to do it...
Of course, everyone’s sure there’s no relation between the two. I mean, this is the same Mammon we’re talking about… right...?
Leviathan
It’s a miracle he even found out but now that he knows he’s pissed. He’s not the Avatar of Envy for nothing.
Look, he might be a shut-in and not worth all that much but he’s got to be better than some lesser demon guy! He’s the third born and he has a freaking navy for crying out loud!!
Will likely leave his room for the first time in who knows how long to follow the MC to RAD. Once he’s got a face to the name, that’s all he needs for his hatred to really get going...
He will make this dude’s life a living hell with the best tool a shut-in has, the Internet. 
He’ll dedicate a freaking week to digging up dirt on this bozo then start releasing it out to everywhere he frequents. Not a single sock of that dirty laundry is getting left out. All of his most embarrassing secrets are laid bare for the Devildom to see.
He’d cover his tracks, of course, so nothing can be traced back to him. The MC is probably none-the-wiser to who’s spreading all this hot gossip but his brothers know right away.
Once the dude’s social life and pride are in utter ruin, he’ll invite the MC over for a movie marathon to celebrate! He might even get a little more cuddly than usual... His MC is with him and that’s how it ought to be.
Satan
Pffft… That’s cute. Real cute they think they stand a chance. He’d wish them luck but he also kind of wants to stab them so…
On the one hand, he knows he probably shouldn’t waste his time but on the other he just can’t resist the call to absolute devastation that his inner rage is forcing on him...
His new goal is to utterly undermine the new competition in every way, mental and physical, which means he will take every opportunity he can to demonstrate just how much on another level he is. 
Gets nitpicky and corrects the guy’s every move. If he says something wrong in class, he’ll berate him for it. Make a social faux pas? Well now the whole school is going to know about it.
Doesn’t stop there, though. He will do everything in his power short of throwing the first punch to try and instigate a fight with the him. He knows that if he technically starts it then the punishment will be on him, but the other way around he can say, “Hey, he’s the one who punched Wrath incarnate. What was he expecting would happen?”
Any resulting fight between the two would be a very one-sided bloodbath. He will not hold back at all and stop when he damn well feels like. The guy will be in whatever the Devildom equivalent to a hospital is for weeks...
If the MC tries to ask him about his behavior, he’ll gaslight them and change the subject. He doesn’t really like indulging in the more violent side of himself in his day-to-day life but some things just can’t be helped, can they?
Asmodeus
Honestly not as bothered as the others are. He knows they stand zero chance, so why worry? It’s bad for the skin.
But that doesn’t mean he’s going to sit back and do nothing. Oh no, a zero chance could always become a one, even five percent chance if you’re not careful.
Asmo’s preferred method of ridding competition is like a mixture of Satan and Levi, but Oh. So. Much. Worse.
Lesser demons can be astonishingly easy to charm without them noticing and he is the best charmer of the family. He’s pretty popular to start with but suddenly he’s talking to almost everyone he comes across until, well, he’s got the whole school listening.
From there it’s child’s play. Suddenly, the demon’s friends won’t talk to them. People stare and whisper about them in the hallways, is what they’re saying true? Doesn’t matter. Asmo could feed them anything and they’d believe it.
He’ll make sure they feel isolated, alone, and hated by everyone they speak to and they won’t even know why. Going to RAD at all will be like walking into a prison. Ideally, they’ll just stop going, and then tada! Competition no more.
Of course, he could just charm the competitor to look elsewhere, but then who’s going to be the example to the others? Nobody needs any more “Zero-Chancers” popping up around the MC, right? You’re welcome, sweetie~! 😘
Beelzebub
He’s trying not to be that guy, he really is… but since the MC is involved… Really? You actually think you got a shot there, buddy?
Probably going to be the brother most likely to try and let the guy down gently at first, but make no mistake he will make sure he knows it’s a lost cause.
If the other demon still insists on being a competitor though… Alright.
MC pretty much goes under his “protection” from that point on. If they’re at RAD at all, Beel is not far behind. Not exactly looking outright intimidating but always just…. there.
But if the dude so much as enters a room with them he’ll be sure to stare him down and mention that he’s hungry a little louder and a lot more often.
To the MC that may just be typical Beel, but everyone else there knows Beel has swallowed lesser demons whole in the past. And for a lot less reason than this...
When Beel gets territorial he can be a subtle about it, but terrifying nonetheless.
Belphegor
Would laugh in their face and give zero shits about it. 
Like, even as the weakest sibling he could snap them like a toothpick and that’s not even getting to how they probably know jack all about the MC anyway. What even is this idiot??
Starts pulling some casual “pranks” on the guy to grief him at first. Little things like tripping him up with his tail or taking his things and hiding them in inconvenient places.
The lazy part of him hopes he’ll get the message and back off but that sadistic side really hopes he doesn’t so he’ll never talk to him directly...
When, of course, the dude doesn’t back off because he doesn't know he's supposed to, his pranks start escalating. A textbook in the school pool suddenly becomes an explosive curse put on their backpack. A kind of homicidal passive-aggression, if you will.
By some unholy miracle the guy manages to last a couple days after a barrage of progressively lethal murder attempts pranks, Belphie’s inner laziness and frustration will finally get to him and he’ll cut the passive from his aggression.
Much like with Mammon, everyone finds out that the demon dropped out of school quite suddenly. But he’s also seemed to have gone dark from all his socials and his friends can’t seem to find him anywhere... 
Concerns were raised with Lucifer but he doesn’t seem very enthusiastic about starting an investigation... It’s not the first time he’s covered for his brothers after all. 🙄🤷‍♀️

Town was a buzz which meant Y/N desperately avoided it. She'd made the mistake of visiting her friend at the beauty parlor where the chatter of gossip fell silent as she walked in. Rosemary offered sympathetic eyes though only for the gossip of the other ladies, not the situation itself.
"You didn't tell me you're going steady with the sheriff!" She squealed, running her hands through Y/N's hair.
"It's news to me too."
Rosemary playfully smacked her arm. "Your hair's always been so pretty curled. Let me show ya how and I'll give ya some rollers so you'll look all pretty when he proposes."
Y/N knew better to interrupt Rosie and maybe she felt a little selfish. Rosie wasn't so much proposed to as it was her daddy standing with the barrel of his gun on her (now) husband's chest. At least Y/N was getting asked. Though, she didn't figure it was asking if there was only one answer teacher college said that wasn't right.
With a goodie bag of new products that Y/N insisted on paying for if the rollers were free, Y/N left town intent on getting home and staying there. She almost made it too. Lee was answering a call about a coyote which didn't amount to more than a skinny German Shepherd.
"Howdy, darling." He tipped his hat, toothpick rolling between his lips. "Reckon you could help me with the pooch?"
Lee took her bags from her arm, handbag included, and set them in his squad car. Y/N kneeled before the critter, extending a open hand. "C'mere sweetheart. I ain't gonna hurt ya."
The dog whimpered and eventually worked its way toward her. Lee carefully scooped up the dog and wrangled it into the back seat. "Gotta get this one to the dog catcher."
"Oh Lee, please don't!" Y/N surprised herself at her outburst. She practically through herself into his arms. "He'll kill it! It ain't done nothing wrong."
Lee did his best to hide his smile (which was pretty damn hard to do) at the tenderness in his little girl. He held her at arm's length, staring down at her with his head titled slightly. "Butcher said it was begging."
"Well you would too if you were that skinny."
A laugh shook his belly against hers. "I reckon you're right." Rubbing his jaw, he hummed slightly in thought. "Well if I can't take it to the dog catcher, what do you suppose I do?"
"Keep it." She wriggled out of his arms and to the window of the cruiser where the dog pressed its nose against the glass. "Could even train it to sniff out drugs or bombs."
Nodding, a crooked smile etched itself on his face. "I'll take it home with me for now." He scuffed the toe of his boot against the curb. "Christmas Eve, after the evening service I'm bringing you to my place."
Any elation at a good deed left Y/N immediately. Her shoulders visibly slumped-Lee ignored it for now, he'd put her in his place if she didn't take more pride in being his woman. Instead of protesting, she managed a "I didn't know you went to church."
"How else am I supposed to get Preacher to let us get hitched there?"
Y/N felt the burn of bile rise in her throat but said nothing, only nodding as she reclaimed her things and left. The thought of running, just getting in her car and speeding away but Lee's hand was in everything making that no longer a viable option. She was inevitably stuck.
Staying hunkered in her house was wearing her down. The air fell thick and heavy in the house whenever she happened to cross the path of her mother. Her father could barely talk to her anymore which stung in a way she couldn't quite describe. Y/N hadn't changed yet everyone in this godforsaken town acted like it.
Going with the motions was all she could do. She curled her hair the night before Christmas Eve, keeping it rolled up until the absolute last minute. Her Christmas dress was a rich green made of crushed velvet that her grandmother bought what seemed like a lifetime ago.
Keeping her coat thrown over her arm, pocketbook tucked away, she lingered by the front door. Lee's headlights shown through the windows. His boot stomps on the porch foretold his knock and she opened the door.
"Wow." He murmured under his breath, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "You look wonderful, like an angel."
Rosy cheeks met him in response. "Let's go, we don't want to be late for the service."
Hours later, bums sore from the wooden pews, Lee's palms sweat. He suppressed the anticipation as best he could but something about the candlelight and the stain glass of the church just made Y/N look all the more like the woman of his dreams. Several men winked and women gave his arms a squeeze as the townspeople lingered on the front steps. Snow dusting everyone's shoulders.
Y/N, patient if not overly so, played her part well. An admittance of defeat for her cause. Gently resting her head on his shoulder as he traded jokes with the mayor served as a signal for Lee. "Y'all have merry Christmas. Time for me to take my lady home."
Odd how the townspeople were indifferent to Lee's anticipated behavior yet teenagers couldn't go any further than a peck on the lips without a biblical intervention. Yet, here the town was encouraging sin. Perhaps, Lee being Y/N's problem was better than Lee being Knockemstiff's problem.
"I've fixed the house up as best I could. Needs a woman's touch to feel like home until we find a place all our own."
"Are you sure about this? About me?" Last ditch effort, a Christmas miracle if there ever were one.
"Darlin' I'm more sure about you than anything in my entire life."
His house was plain bearing only the necessities. To her relief, the dog from days before greeted the two at the door. Tail thumping against their legs a howl. "Merry Christmas to you too, buddy."
"He's gonna need a name, momma." Lee's grin pressed into her neck as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "Our baby boy needs a name."
"You were gonna slaughter him a week ago. Now he's your baby?"
"What can I say? You changed me." His hips continued to press into her back, swaying softly until just the right amount of friction caused his cock to press into her ass. "Now, we gotta open presents."
"I didn't-"
"Silly girl. I didn't give you any money to buy anything you're my present." He pulled her to the sorriest looking tree she'd ever seen. A small black box with a big red bow sat under it. Slowly, he opened the box as he dropped to one knee. "Will you marry me, Y/N?"
A pause was not the appropriate response. Almost immediately, he grabbed her wrist yanking him toward her. "C'mon darling. Here I am asking nicely instead of just taking what's mine." He shoved the ring on her finger (admittedly the prettiest thing she'd ever seen).
Gripping her jaw, he planted a firm kiss on her lips forcing his tongue through. Struggling was also not appropriate response. A firm slap on her ass caused her to flinch and squeal.
"Easy girl. Just relax. You're in your place now: home for Christmas with me."

A Leopard can't change it's spots
Jim Attempted to escape who he was in the past and tried to be a better person. But in the end as it turns out he's just the same old criminal with even worse crimes now. Impersonation, working at a hospital without being certified and now a murderer. 
"If you completely changed, why are you back in another police station. Being arrested for first degree murder." You can't argue with that logic. You may be able to change your look, your name, your social standing and where you work but you can't run away from your own personality or your demons. Which is Sharon's point she brings up to Taylor, as she is someone that really knows. How many times did Jack try to change only for him to be exactly the same as he always was.
Jack We finally get a good look inside of what Sharon and Jack's marriage is like. How they are together, why Sharon would be interested in Jack and why their marriage failed so spectacularly. 
He seems to be getting his life back on track. He's got a job lined up and is looking for an apartment. And now he seems to be taking an interest in Rusty. But Sharon isn't fooled so easily. She's been burnt by him one to many times to completely believe what he says. She tells Rusty this and warns him not to get attached to him. 
Jack + The Squad + Taylor So it seems the senior members of the squad, including Taylor are all very well aware of who Jack is. I've mention Andy and Provenza later on so I'll just talk about the rest of the squad and Taylor. Julio, Amy, Mike and Rusty are all charmed by Jack and his colorful stories.  Jack is charming AF, he's dynamic and funny. And it's not hard to see that Sharon would be attracted to those qualities of his.

Taylor makes some interesting remarks about Jack. He mentions that Jack was stressed the last time he saw him. And it makes me wonder just what he was so stressed about? I also find it interesting that he's talks so very positive about Jack to Sharon. He talks about how it's good that Jack is on the list for court appointed attorneys, that it'll help get him back on his feet. Sharon's reply "For the 100th time." Is so full of weariness. She's been through it all and wants so much for him to change but to her it feels no different than what he's done in the past.
Sharon & Rusty talk about Jack Whats the deal with you two anyway? "There are financial issues, their are religious issues and their are things that I can't explain." Sharon is a smart woman, and someone who is very good at figuring out people. But even she can't separate her emotions from her head when it comes to certain people. And Jack is most definitely one of them. She tells him quite clearly. I will let you stay but only for two nights. Okay. But then she lets him stay longer after he pushes just a little bit and mentions that he'll have to talk to his brother. Jack knows that Sharon will eventually cave. So if Sharon were to truly put her foot down when it came to Jack - then maybe he'd be forced to get a good look at himself and what he's doing to his family. The way that Andy did when Sandra divorced him. 
My point is that Sharon is an enabler when it comes to Jack Raydor. While she doesn't necessarily encourage his behavior, she doesn't stop letting him interfere in her life which can be just as bad. The thing about the two of them is that as much as Sharon wants Jack to change. He's not going to. He has no reason to. He leaves when he wants to and eventually charms is way back into Sharon's life. And it's why I think Jack never actually thought Sharon would divorce him.  
Jack + Rusty: The Fun Parent "Do not get attached to Jack. He only stays for as long as it takes to get what he wants." "But he's looking for an apparement." "So he says." Jack is really trying hard to insert himself into Rusty's life. As I have thought that - it's a multiple of things. 
1. Jack sees how attached Sharon is to the boy. So he thinks if he's in with the kid it will bring him that much closer to his ultimate goal. Sharon though is suspicious as to why Jack is taken so much to Rusty. 2. Rusty and Jack have no history so it makes for a much easier relationship than Jack with Ricky or Emily.
3. Someone there to bounce his personality off of. Sharon is so wary of him, she's heard all of his jokes and knows all of his habits. She isn't ever going to play poker with him without saying something about it.
Ghosts
Laura + Jim Jim is just like a ghost. Presumed dead only to pop up 15 years later as a killer in their case. It's his love for his sister the catches him in the end. He just couldn't stay away from her. Similar to Sharon and Jack. Ultimately Jack will always come crawling back to Sharon. Both of them still love the other but they have gotten to the point where they can't live with the other.
Sharon + Jack Honey, I'm home.

I wish the trailer for the episode hadn't spoiled this whole beginning. I think it's a great lead up and would have done a perfect job off fooling anyone into thinking that their was a prowler in Sharon's condo. 
I wanted to talk a bit about Jack's introduction. I think it's supremely important how a character is introduced. It can tell us a lot in such a little amount of time. We first hear Jack before we see him. He's in Sharon's house, uninvited at 3am, answering her phone and putting groceries away that he just bought into the fridge. Even though he hasn't been there in years he's making himself right at home. 
We've only got snippets here and there from what little Sharon has said about Jack, but it's not enough for us to form a real picture of who Jack Raydor is. This is important because it tells us who Jack is as a person. 
He is inconsiderate. Thinking he can just breeze right back into her life without a care in the world and she won't mind at all. It's pretty obvious that he's done this many many times. And eventually Sharon caves, although I do think that each time it gets harder and harder for him to charm his way back into her life. Can we talk about the things that I love about this scene?
Once Sharon realizes that it's Jack in her apartment instead of a prowler she decides to scare him just as he scared her. She doesn't announce herself quietly and instead of saying: Hey Jack, what are you doing here? She kicks her fridge closed to get his attention. And then she points her gun at him. He's made a HUGE inconvenience for her so she's giving him a taste of his own medicine. 
I love Rusty eventually rushing in with a lamp, because Sharon hadn't come back and he was wondering what the hell was going on. Guess he don't have a baseball bat. 
Love the look on Sharon's face when Jack says I was going to take some things to - I guess it's your room now. Sharon looks so proud. And in the background Sharon is rubbing Rusty's back to get him to calm down.

Provenza + Sharon + The Lieutenant I love how Provenza tells Sharon "He's a Lieutenant so I can't boss him around." So then Sharon talks to the guy and everyone knows she doesn't mess around.
 So as soon as she threatens the guys job, we get this lovely shot of Jack rolling his eyes. This is the reason why Jack would say he doesn't stay. Because Sharon gives as good as she gets and I'm sure they have had some glorious fights in the past.
Andy & Provenza & Jack

"Get some sleep." I love this! Feels like some major breakthrough. It's such a small little thing but I think it says a lot. Particularly concerning where Provenza was with Sharon a year ago. He knows that she probably won't sleep much now that Jack is home. He remembers quite clearly how Jack was and how much he irritated him. Now I feel like Provenza seeing a different side of Sharon and it sounds like it concerns him because he knows that she's going to be going through a ton of emotions with Jack.
What? I liked him.

Remember that time when Andy actually liked Jack Raydor? It's interesting that we never see them actually interact in Jack's first appearances on the show. It's not until Andy is head over heels in love with Sharon and knows exactly who Jack is that we see the two of them interacting. 
I have had this head cannon that Andy and Jack were regulars at the same watering hole. Since the two of them are so similar and had similar marriages I would imagine that they had traded stories about the others marriages. It may have even helped fuel Andy's initial dislike of Sharon. Provenza has Jack pegged right away and can't understand why Andy misses the guy.
Andy's Blood Pressure Meds It's such a tiny scene that I forgot Andy had this conversation with the witness/killer. Andy is still concerned about the meds his doctor has him on for his HBP. I really like that Andy is so into his health issues that it's still on his mind. He quite clearly did not want to take the pills. And I had to wonder just why does he was so reluctant to take the pills. 
Meds can do some strange things to your body. And every body is different and just because a label says this may be a potential side effect - it may effect you in a different way. Who wants to take pills when you can fix things in your body in a different way? 
Another thing that occurred to me on why he is so reluctant to take the HBP pills is his addiction issues. Even if the pill is non-addictive that could also be a reason why he doesn't want to take them. It makes sense. Also that Andy is stubborn AF. Provenza thinks the issue is over with now that Andy has agreed to take the pills but as we learn it's not over with and probably won't ever be over with. Plus Provenza's perspective is different than Andy's, he's of the mind, a pill will solve it end of story. But Andy is a worrier, whether he may realize is or not.
Sharon + Andy
Betting with Toothpicks: The significance of using them
What's the point in all this focus on toothpicks?

First of all, It's an easy thing to gamble with. A good way for Jack to practice. Although it seems what Jack is really practicing is not gambling but conning. As he has Rusty put on some reflective glasses so he can see his cards. Then there's that whole conversation about the toothpicks.
"What do you have em for anyway? You know in 30 years, I've never seen you put a toothpick in your mouth." So why does Sharon have toothpicks if she doesn't even use them? You know who had a toothpick in their mouth almost every episode when we first met them? Andy. 
It's all foreshadowing for Sharon/Andy. I don’t find it a coincidence at all that Sharon and Andy go out on their first (unofficial) date to Nicole’s wedding right after Jack leaves Sharon for the last time.
Trying to get in Sharon's Bed I love seeing the differences in Sharon's relationship with Jack verses her relationship with Andy. Sharon is always so serious and it seems that it's humor that is the way to Sharon's heart. As we see Jack attempting to charm his way into Sharon's bed. He gets her to laugh for the first time since he's stayed and thinks he's got her right where he wants her until...

He oversteps his bounds and presumes too much. 
Jack is inconsiderate and thinks only of himself. Or thinks of himself first. Where's Andy is much more mindful of Sharon's feelings. Like that time that Andy wanted to hug Sharon at the office but instead of going to her, he lets her come to him. Because he wasn't sure if she'd be comfortable hugging in the office.
The scene full of gold and why I think that Robert Gosset is treasure. Behold...

I love how GW and Robert play off of each other. The first time I saw this episode, this scene never really struck me. Then on a rewatch I saw it and thought it was so hilarious. Robert’s delivery of his lines and GW always bringing it as Provenza. As annoying as Taylor is about his printer he does have a point...just where is that paper from? Most likely it’s paper from the office. 
What I don't like: I thought the whole idea of the ghost was interesting but I didn't find the case all that engaging. Although I don't think it really was suppose to be as the personal story seemed much more interesting and to the forefront. 
What I like: We FINALLY get to meet Jack Raydor, who we've only gotten clues about his personality and now he's here. And I love that they choose Tom Berenger. Him and Mary McDonnell have some fantastic chemistry and play extremely well off of the other. We get a really great look at the character's marriage, why it doesn't work and what pushed them together. Jack is my favorite antagonist on MC and I'd love to see him back. Although I'm not quite sure what that would do now that Sharon has really and truly moved on from him. I dig the whole Sharon/Andy/Jack love triangle.

There are many effective ways to quit smoking, and while no one method works for everyone, following these steps can help you along your path to living a smoke-free life.
1. Pick a Quit Date
After you set a date, add it to your calendar to help you stick to it. Select a date that gives you enough time to build the confidence and willpower you need to successfully quit, but isn’t so far ahead that you may start second-guessing your decision.
2. Remove All Nicotine Products
The night before your quit date, get rid of your cigarettes and any triggers, such as lighters or ashtrays, that you associate with smoking. Don’t tuck them away “just in case.” Throw them out to remove the temptation and reinforce the reality of your decision. Also, clean your home, your car, and any other places where you’ve smoked to remove the odor of cigarettes.
3. Get Quitting Aids (If You Need Them)
Some people find that nicotine replacement therapies (NRT) like gum, inhalers, nasal sprays, and patches increase their chances of overcoming their addiction.
