Yusuf/Nicolò + Andromache/Noriko, omegaverse + Pirates AU, wip

Following a broken heart after he had just presented, omega Nicolò was sent to a monastery. Fifteen years later, he is summoned by his elderly father who has promised his son’s hand to a nobleman. On Nicolò’s voyage by sea to meet his future spouse, his ship is seized by the infamous pirate Al-Tayyib, the scourge of the seven seas. Many years ago, alpha Andromache lost her soulmate to the sea. After almost a decade of searching aboard her mighty vessel, she decided to relinquish the captainship over to her protégé, Yusuf. Andromache continues her quest alone, but every once in a while, she finds her way back to her crew.

The Day Has Come And Now You'll Have To Accept, The Life Inside Your Head We Give To You

There was nothing that could compare with having a portion of your soul ripped from your very body itself, nothing could compare to the agony that ripped through every synapse of the brain leaving you broken to your very core. The moment they had lost Lykon had been agonising. Andy had felt his own terror flood her mind as the damage the Kaiju caused cut off his oxygen supply. She could feel the terror flooding him as moment by moment his life slipped away. And yet Quynh nor her could do nothing to move towards him, the battle with the Kaiju raged on, if they were to stop they would all die.

She felt with horror the moment his final breath was taken, so overwhelming and heartbreaking that it felt like her own life ending. His pain enough was crippling enough to bear and yet life didn't cut a break, every ounce of pain she felt was amplified by the grief flaring in Quynh's own heart. In an instant though the world was destroyed, in their grief they had misjudged the battle. Andromache had had little more than a moment to look across to Quynh before the Kaiju brutally ripped through the centre of 'Scythian' leaving the Jaeger losing power and defenceless as it was knocked into the ocean.
