Ya got any headcanons on how Mai will be a pretty good mother to Izumi? I think Mai would be a good mom since she would allow Izumi to have a voice and be heard since Mai herself didn’t have that chance as a child. And Zuko will be the happy dorky dad that would insist on taking 20+ pictures of Izumi on every special milestones in her life.

god zuko is like, the dorkiest dad and mai is like an actually cool mom. she’s affectionate and understanding and izumi loves loves loves her mom because... mai’s the parent that’s always gonna be real w her, which she appreciates. izumi and mai are always close but when izumi hits her teen years they’re inseperable. firelord “i know it sounds cheesy but unironically my mom is my best friend” izumi.

It's my birthday. Another year older, another year wiser. I'm grateful as fuck I started transitioning this year, bc I'm honestly not sure I'd still be here if I hadn't. HRT has been giving me hope for myself for the future. Life is still hard, all my old demons still persist, but it feels like I've finally been given the tools to deal with them. So here's to another year of life, whatever it may bring.
