THIS IS BULLSHIT:
Tumblr media
Yeah sure, just a cherry on a dung cake lol.
Diversity doesn't mean shit to anybody in this country, just a decoration to be discarded whenever seen fit.
A Sikh will be mocked as a Khalistani
A Muslim will be called a Jihadi terrorist
A Christian, and especially if he's from the North East? You're an exotic species brooo!
And it doesn't even matter if you're a Hindu, 'cause a Nepali will just be a 'chinki minki' to these North Indians (the people who constitute majority in our nation, not saying everyone is like that but you can't deny that most cases of racial or communal discrimination and bullying happens in North India or by North Indians).
Oh and I'm not making this up. It's stuff I've seen in my own college, which is supposed to be relatively better in terms of anti-bullying regulations. I wonder how people-of-diverse-backgrounds survive in other colleges.
Honestly, our generation is far worse than our parents or grandparents. At least, even if they disliked other communities, they had the decency to shut up and keep their thoughts to themselves and not go around bullying others.
And don't go in the comments starting a rant about political parties. They are just a face of what the people want and I doubt the people (or at least the majority population) wants peace or diversity. They only use it when they need to subdue the others or show a front in front of foreigners calling India a 'unity in diversity' or whatever. Then they go home and tell their kids to bitch about Bengalis or mock Marathis.
Can we just see people as people and stop picking out everyone for their religion or ethnicity? Or the least u can do is let people just live and mind your own fcking business...

How long will we stay quiet?
I was scrolling through the internet while Anupam Roy's hit plays in the background this afternoon. I was trying to brainstorm some innovative ideas for our blog when I stumbled upon the website “Why Bongs cannot do business?” by the prestigious The Economic Times ( under The India Times newspaper ). I have nothing against the report published but as I scrolled down, outrageous languages, slurs, and invectives flooded the comment section. The link to the website:
The article posted about 6 years ago still has an active comment section where people just thrash their anger on the Bengali community. Some of the comments include - questioning the characters of each other’s mothers(I guess you can understand what I mean), racial slurs, usage of the N-word for no reason, and people’s hot favourite place in Kolkata ‘Sonagachi’.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A simple article on the business and declining economy of West Bengal turned into a battlefield of Plassey, this time Bangali vs Non-Bangali where people like Mir Jafar doesn't shy away from lashing out and stereotyping the Bengali community for their personal gain.
Tumblr media
We were being called a parasite. Surely our contribution to bringing three Noble prizes to India, the discovery of IVF (in vitro fertilization), and giving India great leaders like Netaji and Swamiji Vivekananda can be forgotten. I wonder how a page like this can still continue to run peacefully and nobody has any problem while stories of tearing off the masks of the corrupted people get banned; even worse, the writer gets executed.

about the ongoing hunger strike to ensure that the historic anti-casteism bill passes in california ^^ wanna support?
if you’re on mobile, go to: https://tinyurl.com/Signsb403
other devices, like laptops: https://www.gov.ca.gov/contact/
sample email below from the mobile link, not my own writing:
Subject: Please Sign SB403 (Wahab) to End Caste Discrimination
I am writing to request the governor to sign the historic bill SB403 introduced by State Senator Aisha Wahab, which would end discrimination on the basis of caste. This bill aims to clarify existing California state law and make explicit that discrimination based on caste is illegal by adding caste to ancestry and defining caste in the Civil Rights Act, Fair Employment and Housing Act, and Education Code.
Caste systems are social stratification where each position is characterized by hereditary status, endogamy, and social exclusion. Caste discrimination manifests as workplace discrimination, housing discrimination, gender-based violence, and other physical and psychological forms of violence.
Caste discrimination occurs across industries, including technology, construction, restaurants, and domestic work. In these sectors, caste discrimination has included harassment, bias, wage theft, and even trafficking. Caste is today inextricably intertwined with existing legal protections in state and federal civil rights laws such that discrimination based on one’s caste is effectively discrimination based on the intersection of other protected identities. However, because of the grave discrimination caste-oppressed Californians face, these existing protections must be made explicit.
Caste is a workers rights issues, a women's rights issues, and racial justice issue. It is also a bill that has bipartisan support. That is why we are joined by Asian Law Caucus, Stop AAPI Hate, AAPI Equity Alliance, Tech Equity, Equality Labs, Alphabet Workers Union, Ambedkar Association of North America, Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, AFL-CIO, Californians for Caste Equity, Hindus for Caste Equity, Jakara Movement, South Asian Network, Sikh Coalition, and Sikh American Legal Defense Fund. Every major legal association is in support of caste equity and the lawfulness to make caste equity explicit. This includes the American Bar Association, South Asian Bar Association, National Asian American Pacific Bar Association, and Asian Law Caucus.
That is why we urge you to make history and sign his bill without hesitation. Justice delayed is justice denied. Let's ensure California opportunity for all by ensuring that ancestry and caste discrimination is explicitly prohibited and make history across the country.
Thank You,
[Name]
and if you don’t know what caste is? send in an ask @bfpnola or join our Discord server, link in bio, so we can answer you in real-time!

OK UHMM.....
So, i have seen a lot of rc editors on instagram, and they are not Indian, and i have observed that they are highly brainwashed by a Russian's interpretation of the Indian Culture. I hope you understand what I am getting at, and that is Alexandra R's Kali Call of Darkness on Romance Club. They think that Goddess Kali is a blood thirsty goddess. No. She is not. Alexandra didn't do proper research, and hence didn't mention why Kali actually drank blood. Kali is not a sadistic goddess.
The reason Kali drank blood, was because of the demon she was destroying. The demon she was destroying was Raktbeeja and NOT MAHISHASURA AS PER THE WRITTING OF ALEXANDRA R IN THE STORY, and the demon, upon the spilling of his blood ON THE GROUND, would multiply. So it was impossible to kill him. Kali, killed him, and in order to prevent the blood spilling on the ground, collected it on a bowl and then drank it, before it could spill on the ground. Thus, she prevented the multiplying of Raktbeeja, and successfully killed him.
Kali was shown as a sadistic goddess in the story, and people are highly brainwashed by it and convinced that Kali actually wants human sacrifices. I, as an Indian, a Hindu and a worshipper of Shakti, doubt that she wants such sacrifices for her worship. She is the Great Mother, and a mother will never want her children to be harmed for the sake of her worship. Yes, maybe some worshippers did sacrifice humans, but it is strictly banned in India.
The story is fictional, and I know I am not supposed to take it seriously, but the few comments i have seen against the goddess outraged me and heavily hurt my sentiments.
Some people might take the story seriously, and they might build up a sense of racism and can affect people in real life.
I will not mention who are the particular ones, but if you do notice them, please, dont get convinced of the fact that Indians are bloodthirsty demons, and Kali is a sadistic goddess.

the paradesi synagogue in kochi, kerala, india. the first synagogue on the site, built by the city's longstanding malabari jewish community, was destroyed by portugese who'd colonized the area in their persecution of locals. it was rebuilt in 1568 by spanish and portugese jews who fled persecution and later expulsion, hence the name "paradesi" ("foreign" in malayalam).
these sephardic jews and a community of jews of mixed african and european descent who were formerly enslaved ("meshuchrarim", "freedmen" in hebrew) joined the malabari jewish community of kochi and somewhat integrated. they were later joined by some iraqi, persian, yemenite, afghan, and dutch sephardic jews. the middle eastern and european jews were considered "white jews" and permitted malabari jews and meshuchrarim to worship in the synagogue. however, in what seems like a combination of local caste dynamics and racism, malabari jews were not allowed full membership. meshuchrarim weren't allowed in at all, but were instead made to sit outside during services and not allowed their own place of worship or other communal rights.
as the "white jews" tended to be rather wealthy from trade, this synagogue contains multiple antiquities. they include belgian glass chandeliers on its walls, hand-painted porcelain tiles from china on its floors, and an oriental rug that was gifted by ethiopian emperor haile selassie.

Two POC character being friends isn't POC solidarity. Two POC characters becoming friends or allies or supporting each other in a majority white environment is POC solidarity.
In the same way, two POC characters hating each other is not racism, sometimes you just have beef. Unless, you know, one of the character has beef because they're racist.
This is about Across the Spider-Verse btw.

Video transcription: warning racism & discrimination. Indian settlers dressed as Indigenous Jarawa in blackface dance at the official opening of Andaman airport. The Indian government's racist attitude to Andaman and Nicobar Islands' tribes is a threat to their lands and survival - like the uncontacted Shompen people, who won't survive the Indian government's plan to turn their island into the "Hong Kong of India".
From Survival International:
The indigenous peoples of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India —including the Great Andamanese, Jarawa, Sentinelese and Shompen— have endured centuries of racism that has justified the theft of their land and their near-total annihilation. Indigenous peoples of India are still often treated with contempt, as racist displays like this video of Indian settlers wearing blackface shows. These attitudes continue to fuel land thefts today.
For example, the Indian government is set on using Indigenous land for development without consent. The Shompen who live on Great Nicobar Island are at risk of being wiped out if their forest is used for a mega-development project, which aims to settle over 650,000 people on the island— the equivalent of an 8,000% increase in population.
Without their forest, the Shompen, most of whom are uncontacted, could be totally wiped out.
More information on the Shompen, the Indian Government's mega-project for turning their island into a military, commercial and touristic base through ecocide and genocide, and a link to easily send a pre-written email to the government officials and companies involved here:
Some context to understand why Indian settlers are caricaturely dressed up as Jarawa people in this airport:
The Jarawa are a nomadic cultural group indigenous to the Andaman Islands, where nowadays indigenous peoples are outnumbered by settlers from India. Still, like most tribal peoples who live self-sufficiently on their ancestral lands, the Jarawa people thrive and their numbers are steadily growing. Research on their nutrition and health found that their nutrition is "optimal", in large part thanks to their deep knowledge of their natural surroundings (they have detailed knowledge of more than 150 plant and 350 animal species) and the well-being of the forests.
In the 1990s, the local Indian settler authorities revealed their long-term ‘master plan’ to settle the Jarawa in two villages with an economy based on fishery, suggesting that hunting and gathering could be their ‘sports’. This meant forcing the Jarawa, who are nomadic and get their food from hunting and gathering, to abandon their way of living. The plan was so prescriptive it even detailed what style of clothes the Jarawa should wear.
Forced settlement had been fatal for other tribes in the Andaman Islands, but a vigorous campaign brought success and in 2004 the authorities announced that the Jarawa would be able to choose their own future with minimal intervention. However, in the next years (most notably 2010), Indian settler authorities have again tried to force the Jarawa to abandon their way of life and become part of India's mainstream society. This pressure continues, including Indian MPs asking for residential schools to be created to take away Jarawa children from their families and strip them from their culture.
Indian government officials repeatedly refer to the Jarawa people as "primitive", "backwards" and "uncivilized".
Tribal peoples like the Jarawa are used as a tourist claim by Indian settlers, who organize "human safaris" for tourists to go see Jarawa people. Even though in 2002 India's Supreme Court ordered closing the highway that runs through Jarawa land, it's still open and used by thousands of outsiders who go watch them like they're wild animals in human safaris.
Outsiders, both local settlers and international poachers enter their rich forest reserve to steal the game the tribe needs to survive. Although in recent years many poachers have been arrested, none have been sentenced by the courts, despite the offence carrying a prison term of up to seven years.
Jarawa girls and women are sexually abused by poachers, settlers, bus drivers and others. Jarawa people report outsiders who get drunk on alcohol and high on marijuana going in Jarawa villages to rape Jarawa girls and women.

The zionist entity has no right to exist
It would be dismantled piece by piece. Gaza, West bank, Jerusalem, Haifa, Tel aviv... Like it or not. Cry, yell, curse, vociferate, invent more lies, blackmail, humiliate, torture, quote the bible, kill more babies in vain, roll on the floor in antisemitism. And the higher the pills of deaths to impose your domination the more enemies you create even within your allies. My words make you laugh? It's fine, Hubris always comes before the fall. You don't see it yet but it's coming. This is the natural direction of history. Zionists leaders harshly punished, their zealous followers send back from the 2348938457 countries they, their parents or their grandparents comes from. And for those left, if the indigenous Palestinians still wants you around and if you accept to live in a real democracy with equal rights for Muslims, Christians and Jews, you might stay. But it's up to them!
To those who choose humanity: don't despair! The tyranny will end, the beast is always the most vicious and dangerous when deadly wounded. Be resilient and patient. It happened in Apartheid South Africa, in French Algeria, in Rhodesia now Zimbabwe, in India, in Indochina now Vietnam. and so much more decolonised countries. The settlers left, some stayed and accepted to integrate into the native society.
Too much blood has been spilled in Gaza (5% of the total population in February 2024), too much innocent children have been sacrificed, too much people around the world have seen disgusting images we wish we have never seen. We are fed up, so fed up by the utter arrogance of the evil entity from their degenerate leaders to their citizens happily doing rave party while blocking aid trucks and creating famine few miles away... There is no coming back. Don't you understand? This is the last racist colony in the world. And this is the world war of our generation.
Humanity against Evil.

Israel x India
In India 🇮🇳 — Narendra Modi is using Israel's genocidal violence in Gaza to radicalise violence against 220 million Muslims.
Anti-Palestinian rhetoric used by Israel is being parroted by Modi's Hindutva supremacists.
Modi is building a network of concentration camps for Muslims in Assam (eastern India).
