Anyway, victims of rape deserve a safe space online to vent. We deserve to be open about our feelings, and our hatred and fear is valid as yours is to anything else that has harmed you. Stop silencing rape victims as "radfem man-haters" and listen to them as victims of continuous abuse at the hands of men and a patriarchal society that does not put these men behind bars.

Reminder that "cis" is not a bad or derogatory word and anyone that says it is is most likely just transphobic!

If you as a cis person can decide you don't want to be called cis, but instead just a man or woman, then I, as a trans person, can decide that too. Or do you see us as our AGAB, or not real men and women?

Do you sepearate trans and cis people because you don't see trans people as real? You view them as something different than you and want only them specified

Cis is just an adjective, and if you can chose not to be called it, so can trans people.

A trans woman is as much a woman as a cis woman is, and a trans man is as much a man as a cis man is.

Stop being transphobic and learn what an adjective is!!

thinking about lego Friends, one of my childhood interests. if you don't know, it was- and still is i believe, a lego franchise designed for girls. Compared to the main lego sets, Friends was considerably more story-oriented, focusing on the lives of 5 girls, which is an element i really enjoyed. However, as much as i loved the series, i also became aware to some degree the fair criticism it received for having builds that were much easier than its more masculine counterparts. But now im thinking about 8 year olds watching tiktoks with shit telling them that they shouldn't have to build difficult sets because they're a #girl or whatever and it makes me sick to the stomach.

I appreciate everyone's concern over my stances on what I believe. Radfems make victim spaces unsafe because people who are non-women get abused. My boyfriend would never be safe because you would assume he is a perpatrator and not a victim. My trans partner would be assumed a predator too because they have male genitalia. Trans people are not safe around terfs and radfems, so they would not be safe in victim spaces. Even cis men can never talk about being victims of abuse.

You can call me a terf for not wanting terfs to interact. You can call me a terf for not liking radical feminism. Radicalization of any belief leads to people getting hurt, oppressed, or left out of the final goal: which is to make men and women equal I hope.

I am not silencing rape victims. I am silencing terf and radfem ideology. You can call yourself a man-hater, but I am NOT a man hater. I am an intersectional feminist who understands how the patriarchy works and actively tries to unlearn my own biases and teach those around me.

You don't have to agree, but actively attacking me and calling me horrible names is what all my oppressors do anyway. The comments and asks I've gotten sound like every butt-hurt man when I say I'm not interested in them. You sound JUST AS BAD AS YOUR OPPRESSORS WHEN YOU START HARASSING RAPE VICTIMS!

I find it ironic that antis are opposing the kids safety online act

I’m not saying this is a bad thing, but it’s hard to imagine them being against broad censorship when they themselves want or often wish for the same kind of censorship 

for example, the bill would limit access on true and valuable information, not because the information is harmful, but because a certain portion of people disagree with the information

when it comes to antis, they reject information about purity culture, queer history and censorship, not because it’s harmful but because they disagree with it, it goes against their “everything is black and white” mentality

the bill would basically enable those select few people to run the country on what they believe. Antis want the same thing, although on a smaller scale (fandoms). 

so I don’t understand, Antis want broad censorship and want everyone to agree with what they believe is true. Now free speech is in danger of being censored and they suddenly don’t want that

It's very reminiscent to me of how a lot of alt-right people are all for free speech until you disagree of them for sure, but if you point that out they immediately get upset your comparing them to political radicals. While I get why their offended... No one's saying that they are political radicals necessarily, just that they have some of the same behaviors, which is worrying.

Anti culture is definitely a gateway into some alt-right beliefs for sure though, primarily anti-kink culture, which very quickly turns into anti-queer culture. again, when you talk about this, they get upset and will flat-out disagree, as if kink pride and queer pride haven't been hand in hand since around stonewall.

Not to mention that a lot of people used to consider being queer a kink. It's just ridiculous to ignore the similarities and how that can be a very dangerous path
