I've noticed cis straight men HATE the zodiac, crystals, witchcraft and all that but I got a theory on WHY.

IT'S BECAUSE UNLIKE MOST OTHER BELIEFS THEY ARE NOT IN CHARGE.

Yes you heard me I think it's likely cis straight men feel threatened And mock these forms of spirituality/beliefs because it doesn't push misogynistic values and put men at the head on things or have a divine that's a dude.

Notice how it was cis straight dudes that started the hate against crystals, witchcraft, cleansings, reiki, the evil eye, tarot, Horoscopes and all that...

These sorts of spiritualities are normally dominated by woman and LGBTQ+, both of these groups are oppressed outsiders in many cis straight dominated religions. Normally women and LGBTQ+ ppl support each other on those communities and uplift each other. I think that's another reason cis straight men see it as such a threat.

I DONT TRUST RADFEMS!

Specifically because they’re fascists in feminist clothing. And that’s not just me saying shit that’s literally what they are. They lure you in with reasonable statements and then immediately flip to pushing an extremist stance the second they think they’ve got your attention.

They always start out saying “gender roles aren’t real, they’re forced on you by society and you don’t need to enforce them onto yourself” and they lure you in, because that’s actually correct and something a lot of people obviously live to hear, especially when they’re raised in a toxic environment with very strict expectations levied on them by authority figures in their life.

And then they always inevitably end their posts with shit like “women are producers and men can only consume. Men oppress women to steal their divine feminine light” and then they start talking about applying those OPINIONS on trans people. They literally jump from

“gender isn’t real, you are a free person”

to

“I think gender IS real and we should totally judge people by their genitals and we should demonize half of the population that includes transwomen and AMAB non-binary people, and we should treat AFAB non-binary people and transmen as fallen sisters who have strayed from the path.”

AND THEY SOMEHOW DETECT NO CONTRADICTION BETWEEN BOTH OF THOSE STATEMENTS.

Female empowerment is fine. That’s your business, everyone has a right to feel empowered and confident in their own skin.

But the second you go from seeking “self empowerment”

to

“vaginas are a mark of divinity and trans women are pretenders to the throne” you start to sound like a crazy fascist person.

Transphobic behavior is not feminist behavior. If you are transphobic you ARE NOT A FEMINIST. If you are transphobic than you are not abolishing gender roles YOU ARE REINFORCING THEM. Transphobia and judging people by their genitals HAS NO PLACE IN FEMINIST SPACES, and you’d better damn well keep that crap out of trans spaces too.

Idk who needs to hear this but you can’t just claim an entire group of people is rewriting history in order to discredit a certain aspect of history you don’t agree with. It’s not productive and is a perfect example of someone rewriting history btw.

Like they killed my cat, my rabbit and a small group of birds I fed just for the hell of it, as punishment, and legit I still have trauma.. I wasn't the only LGBTQ+ person the extremists hurt in my area.. But I know all of us ended up with some sort of broken bone and scars that will never go away...

Me being hurt caused it's own trauma, me having broken bones caused it's own trauma, me being SA-ed caused it's own trauma but the animals getting killed was the worst because those lil babies didn't do nothing.. They were hurt because I was alive and that hurts me still...

this is obviously a redfem post but they have it so right ngl. the way they apply is shitty though. i would feel way less dysphoric if only people let me exist as a boy* as i am now. to not have to change myself to be gendered correctly. to let me choose what gives me euphoria in my identity as a guy.

* = this is the difference in application. their appilcation says that without such perceptions, we'd be okay, happy, existing in our bodies, female or male. they disregard gender while i remain inclusive of it as not everyone is agender/genderless and to be forced to exist as such would cause dysphoria for they do not get to live to the full extent of their being. additionally, radfems intensely focus on sex. people are still classified, even if gender is "abolished" which has the potential of discomfort. but this wouldnt fit their ideal of radfem cis "women" being the top dogs so we cant have a world where people can exist as we are without linguistic unification or physical ambivalence(?).

White feminism is fucking bullshit and only proves that white women don't see women of color as worthy of fighting and advocating for and that they only see themselves as true women, evidenced by the fact that they call misogyny anytime somebody calls them out on their shit, as if they're not the misogynistic ones for bullying, harassing, and demeaning women of color. This is especially true if they're cis. Not to mention white women pride themselves on their white femininity despite claiming that femininity oppresses them(doubly so if they're TERFs), because they are threatened by Black women's femininity and try to masculinize us and force us into the Strong Black Woman role while pretending it is empowering when really they are trying to beat us down to prop themselves up and they know it. Just like they know damn well that they can and will burst into tears once we call them out on their horseshit and expect everyone else to buy it which sadly often is the case. Finally, it's just annoying the way they try to expose us to racism all the time even when it has nothing to do with us as if we are their fucking racism attack dog(I swear there was a post on this somewhere before, something something "go girl bite bite bite!") and say shit like "women only make 77 cents on the dollar for what men make!" ignoring that Black and brown women make even less, thus proving that they don't see us as women and just ignore all our issues. White women think that advocating for just them is enough and the rest of us will follow in their lead. Be grateful when a strong female protagonist is white, at least she's female, so we're getting somewhere. That's what truly matters.
