dear lesboy (and tbh any other nuanced identity) exclusionists who think your vein of thought is the majority in queer spaces id like to inform you that today at lunch with my (entirely queer) friend group the topic drifted to me being a butch lesbian and one friend goes "wait i thought you were a guy?" and i said "i am" and another friend interjected "dudes can be lesbians too" and that was that. no further probing about my identity, nohing about how im "invalidating transmen and lesbians", or whatever. everyone just accepted that thats how i identify and i dont owe an explanation for it and moved on. i promise u its not that deep 👍

daily reminder i guess that "queer exclusionism" and "online discourse" isn't just internet bullshit. it has harmful, sometimes dangerous, impacts on real people. the people you see spouting even the most vapid queerphobia are real people who go around in their lives and their beliefs hurt others. it even hurts themselves. the internet may not be a physical place, but it still a place. the people on here are still real. it matters.
if all it is to you is nothing, you're either in denial or one of the lucky ones. also queerphobia isn't less important just because it comes from other queer people or takes place online.

“Youre feeding into their delusions” is an abelist ass sentance
So fucking what if im allowing them to believe what they believe, having delusions doesnt make you an inherently bad person, it makes you a very interesting person in my mind.
like fuck yes, you go with your funky lil delusions, if your not hurting anybody with them whats the harm in being ‘delusional’?
Lets stop using the words like delusional as an insult, hell, lets stop using any word as an insult all together, why do we use our biggest tool as humans, language, to spread hate towards innocent people?

Lately, I've been seeing discourse about if it's okay to romantically ship Alastor with other characters regardless of the fact he's canonically aroace. I've decided to put my two cents into this as an aroace person.
As a romance and sex favored aroace person, using the whole "ace/aro people can be in relationships" thing should only be used when aphobes and exclusionists are trying to dehumanize Ace/Aro people, not in shipping discourse. I understand that people are trying to say that in good faith. However, that statement can be used as a way to exclude and invalidate romance/sex repulsed Ace/Aro people.
The only way it's okay to romantically ship Ace/Aro characters is if those said characters aren't romance/sex repulsed. Alastor is clearly a romance and sex repulsed aroace character, and putting him in romantic/sexual ships ignores his undesire for a romantic and sexual relationship. However, there's nothing wrong with putting him in platonic or "frienemies"/rival ships as long as you're not doing it for the purpose of wanting him in a romantic/sexual relationship.
I can not speak for the entirety of the Ace/Aro community, but it's important to acknowledge that there's nothing wrong with aroace people who don't pursue romantic/sexual relationships. It's completely valid, and it's also important to normalize the diversity of the Asexual, Aromantic, and aroace spectrums.

A WARNING FOR PICREW USERS
There's a picrew called RADCREW and it features stuff like pro- pedophilia, transid, zoophilia, incest, necrophilia, etc..it's very gross and claims being a "critinclus" is being an exclu which it isnt? Anyways just watch out for them. They're gross. Also they're a pro-shipper! Disgusting

radical inclusivity is integral to the lgbtq+ community.
we are all in the same boat of otherness in the eyes of cishetnormative society, it does no good to infight over labels deemed contradictory or embarrassing.
it hurts no one if a man identifies as a lesbian or if someone uses neopronouns. it does not ‘make us look bad,’ it does not ‘bring down the movement.’ it is unabashed queerness.
those who wish harm upon the lgbtq+ community wish harm upon ALL of us. there are no exceptions for those who bootlick or attempt to conform.
a multisexual spectrum gay looks the same as a monosexual gay to those who want gays dead.
peace to old and new queer folk, peace to faggots, dykes, and transsexuals, peace to gays, lesbians, and transgender persons, peace to those i don’t understand and those i do, peace to the lgbtq+ community for ever and ever.

Accepting my diaracial identity saved my life and I will never forget that aspect of myself. I will never consider anyone undeserving of acceptance because of their identity. You are not a bad person for being transid. Our enemies want all queer and marginalized identities to be erased but never forget that we will always exist and there will always be a community that cares about your well being.
Radical inclusivity saves lives. It saved mine and it can save others too.

Stop equating trans women with penises or assuming that all trans women are AMAB. Many of us are not. "Genitals = gender" is TERF rhetoric. I'm a trans woman because my gender is trans woman, not because of what's in my pants.

okay i know I hate discourse but…
i think the thing that people don’t get about mspec lesbianism is that they think it’s just a synonym for mspec. they think bi lesbians is just another word for bi women. but it’s NOT.
a majority of bi women aren’t lesbians, and a majority of lesbians aren’t bi. the whole confusion is that people think we’re trying to completely change the meaning of both labels. they think bi women are calling themselves lesbians because they’re attracted to women and for no other reason.
but that just literally is not what is happening. i am not a bi lesbian because I’m wlw. I’m not a bi lesbian because i am bi and like girls. I’m a bi lesbian because there’s a lot of complexity and nuance to my identity that doesn’t exist for a lot of other people. by and large, most bi lesbians I’ve met have been more than willing to acknowledge that perception and community surrounding the lesbian label HAVE shifted. and there IS a lot more emphasis on lack of attraction to men now and that is PERFECTLY FINE! bi lesbians aren’t trying to redefine anything. they’re just acknowledging that they deserve labels for their nuance as much as people who have it more figured out do. i deserve a label that makes me happy just as much as the girls who have never questioned their lesbianism.
if you stop going into queer discourse with the view that people are out here with malicious intent, purposefully trying to hurt others with their identities, and instead realize that we have thought about and analyzed our identities more in the past hour than you ever could have in your lifetime, that we are not trying to steal but to share, then the world of queerness will open up for you.
it’s like… blue and purple are different colors. they appear distinct on the outside. and most blues have no purple in them and vice versa. and yet, there’s also indigo and violet and lavender. and none of these change the fact that blue and purple for the most part are distinct colors. sure, purple has elements of blue in it by default, but it is still its own color that can have overlap sometimes.
queer identities aren’t math equations. it’s not “one scenario breaking the mold invalidates the whole scenario” because queerness has room for an infinite amount of nuance and different scenarios. bi lesbian does not mean bi woman. it simply means that not everyone fits as cleanly into the mold and it’s okay to blend colors sometimes if you don’t belong on the current spectrum.

If you ever feel invalidated by an exclusionist, please remember this post because I can assure you they don't know what they're talking about💀
⚠️trigger warning for of course exclusionist dumbassery, also this gets rant-y⚠️
I swear exclusionists have the most incoherent thought processes known to man dude cuz what is this shit
Tumblr media
[ID: purple header text reading he/him lesboy flag/ hesboy flag! Under this text is plain black text reading based on these two flags: •reclaimed lesboy •he/him lesbian. Under this, red, bold text reads DNI, followed by rad inclus, terfs/transmeds, anti he/him lesbians & she/her gays, male/men "lesbians" in black plain text. End ID]
'Lesboy flag' and 'no man lesbians' in the same post... my brain is melting. Also... these people 'reclaimed' the term lesboy? Just to exclude a group of people who are lesboys? You do know that lesbians who also consider themselves men are also included in the lesboy term? Apparently not to these people. Butches who also consider themselves men? Sorry, not lesbians anymore. Multigender man lesbians? Nah sorry you're men so you can't be lesbians./sarc
Tumblr media
[ID: blue header text reading Demiboy lesbian flag! Beneath this, quote text (at least I think that's what it's called) reads I couldn't decide on which ones to choose, so I'm posting all of them! Beneath this, much like the previous image, OP starts off their DNI with a bold red DNI, followed by black plain text. This text reads mspec "lesbians", radinclus, terfs/transmeds, radfems, men/male "lesbians", anti he/him lesbians and she/her gays. End ID]
Is that,, not excluding demiboy lesbians? Oh my bad, it's fine cuz they're only 'partially male' and therefore aren't ACTUALLY icky men invading lesbian spaces!/sarc
Also can I just say how fucking entitled it is to be all like 'mspec "lesbians"' with the quotes and shit? Like oh my god get over yourself, you aren't the leader of the lesbians™️ [trademark]. Bro thinks they're part of the lesbian council or some shit. 💀
Besides that, this has got to be one of the funniest examples of exclusionist stupidity I've ever seen. I can't get over it bro: 'demiboy lesbian flag!' 'Fuck off icky man lesbians!' In the SAME. POST. BAHAHA–
-----
It's rare that I feel the need to take screenshots and talk about them on my blog, but these are so poetically idiotic that I had to make a whole post dedicated to them. So yeah, sorry about your braincells lmao. But just know you're valid regardless of how you identify as a lesbian, and these are the types of people who think otherwise. Needless to say, they aren't really that credible.
Tumblr media
[ID: a DNI banner with a purple background with lighter purple text reading DNI: system/queer exlusionists, TERFs/SWERFs, truscum/transmeds, anti recovery for harmful paraphilia, anti otherkin, anti self dx, pro cringe culture, pro-lifers, anti xenogender. A more detailed DNI is in my pinned post. A transparent png of Shadow The Hedgehog can be seen on the right, beside the text. He's holding his hand to his chest, his body facing the text and his eyes looking off to the distance. End ID]

Shippers who use the "aroace people can date" phrase as an excuse to ship canonically aroace characters are infantilizing romance/sex repulsed aroace people. As a romance and sex favored aroace person, it's giving the same vibes as "you just haven't found the right person". I wouldn't be surprised if these shippers end up becoming exclusionists down the line.
