Honestly, Rafael Fen Rafael's argument about the difference between a human and a fairy's lifespan only works if you don't understand how love works in the first place. It could've worked if either Anne or Shall didn't have genuine feelings towards each other/weren't sure of their feelings. All things are destined to end one day, and love is not an exception. It's not about the destination, it's about the whole journey. Love is not about dying happily ever after, it's about the moments you spend together. Even human love is finite, and that's okay, that's just how things are. Refusing to have something just because you know it will end one day is a flawed argument of someone who's never loved or been loved before.

In less poetic words: Rafael Fen Rafael is a selfish moronic phsychopath, who talks a lot of shit about the things he knows nothing about. Please stop saying dumb ass things, Rafael, you're not even making sense.

Propaganda: When I had first read the only fanfic with this pairing, titled "Let Me Be Selfish", I was intrigued by the dynamic: two men who self-sacrifice, loyal to a fault, taking one night to indulge in comfort and passion with each other.
