Cream was surprised to see someone interacting with Cheese without her being there... Then again, they were usually together....

There were only a few times when they were separated from each other however they always get back together soon shortly. Either way, she could see the distress coming Cheese as such the rabbit decided to step in and hopefully calm Cheese down and see why the person was poking Cheese in the first place.

     i literally just, and i mean literally just started watching hilda and i like the enchanting vibes of strange alien-like mythical creatures, so im like “yo the main character i’ve seen but seven minutes of and her dog/cat/deer/fox companion? sign me the heck up.”

     and i finally binged the first half of demon hunter yesterday and im forever in love with the character archetype of “person who’s faced extreme trauma and or grief but still holds onto that indominable will and need to continue on in the face of adversity, all without becoming harsh and unloving simply because that’s what they’ve been given” without being a complete eternal optimist if you catch my drift? also i loved nezuko’s vibes even before watching the anime, so now that i have context im sat here like “god fucking dammit i wanna write both tanjiro and nezuko as a sorta ice climbers deal because it seems literally impossible to write one without the other.”

Robin’s sword moves as if conducted by music, so incredibly swift, near graceful. But the power is very much present, cutting through the Bokoblins and their larger counterparts, Moblins, quite easily. Somehow the wolf doesn’t seem troubled, even if she had a penchant for not doing well with crowds.

Once the smoke clears and she has grabbed the items left behind by magical corpses, she turns, and recognizes the younger girl. 

“Oh, you’re that pirate princess, yeah?” If only she knew how truthful her jesting nickname was. “I guess I caught ya at a bad time. Or a good one, cause now things are settled.”

Sword sheathed at her side, she relaxes. “It’s been awhile.”

A pensive walk along the shores was interrupted by the sound of someone calling for her attention. And who could it be but Tetra’s green clad friend! The pirate made haste towards the other, worry on her face. He sounded very distressed!

⚔️☠⚔️ “ Link, what’s wro-?! ”

Eyes shifted over from her friend to the direction he was pointing at. What was that green thing in the water? The closer she got the clearer the ‘emergency’ became to her. Worry immediately shifted to a look of pure annoyance. Really?

⚔️☠⚔️ “   Oh come on, really? ” Tempted as she was to just turn around and go about her business again she just couldn’t bring herself to leave him there. Begrudgingly, Tetra swam the short distance out and retrieved the hat, handing it over with an annoyed huff, “ Did you forget how to swim or something? It was literally just right there. ”

        “Yeh-eah!” Link cheered his own version of a ‘thank-you,’ reunited with his treasured cap at last. The horrors of the not-so-deep depths wouldn’t win this time around. He shook off the water, though part of it was still soaked when it was donned once more with pride.

        Yet the girl had acted strange since she’d approached. With his attention away from the hat for once, he’d realized she knew his name. Well, that’s not too weird— a lot of people in town recognized the little green blacksmith. But she spoke to him like she knew him.

        ‘Did you forget how to swim?’ — “Mm...” He tilted his head to this question. Shaking it to say ‘no,’ he threw out a shrug with a distorted and confused expression. He never knew how to swim to begin with!

NO I’M KIDDING ASHDJKBJH that’d be too hard and can actually hurt someone. She’s too much of a softy to purposefully hurt others and also virtues taught in Knight School yadda yadda. I’d imagine something soft but still stains your clothes? Like pudding! Or cakes! Or even Pie! Maybe not the actual whole raw eggs because that’s nasty and very unsanitary but if it’s around her, either scrambled eggs or sunny side up! So foods of that nature. It’s all in good fun and super duper easy to clean off! Neato, huh?
