Send 💘 for your policy on shipping with your muse(s) - asking for a friend
For a friend huh? :eyes: I’ve touched on the subject before but I’m not a fan of pre-shipping, or pre-planning with the notion of “These characters will for sure fall in love” - because it doesn’t add up with how I roleplay. I improvise (read: Bullshit) my way through 80% of my character’s actions and reactions and I can’t really vouch for that a certain feeling will arise.
But beyoooond that? I mean, roleplay is roleplay. Things that sort of make me reel in is if; - My character’s sexuality is being challenged, my characters are at this point pretty settled with their respective takes on the matter. I’m at a point where if I wanted to “experiment” one way or another, that would be with people I know and trust. - Any ic/ooc bleeding no matter which way  -  My character’s relationship statuses not being respected and this not being communicated about oocly. I am pro plenty of ooc communication during and inbetween active RP’s, it’s just the pre-arranged “railsy” feel that I want to avoid. I do not want to feel like I am obligated to give people a certain ending to their visual novel. So go nuts I guess but like, also try to be respectful about it?

I realize he hasn't always met the same standards he set in 3 & Knuckles, but I can at least see the value of games like Adventure, Colors, and the Rush titles. Even Unleashed had its moments, despite half of it being so slow and ooc for our blue blur. And the on-railsy Storybook games have some of the best music I've heard in Sonic games, which, as we all know, is a very high bar. But, we all have opinions, I guess.
I mean yeah. Sonic hasn’t really had the best track record, but I still liked the 3D games. Hell, ‘06 is a guilty pleasure for me.

recommendation - Expeditions: Viking. an interesting 2017 mostly-historical indie RPG from the people currently making the new Divinity game. story is fairly railsy but I think you'd like it. roguelike build is challenging at first but becomes more powerful in the lategame!
Thanks for the suggestion!
