i cant get this scenario out of my head now. if efnisien is still around in Utr, him figuring out whats up w faber &caleb in his perceptive way and going 🤨 😠. and calebs like whats up with this alpha puppy 😯 but then getting jealous seeing faber with ef and his baby crush 🫢 meanwhile ef is in his protective alpha mode and faber is oblivious 🤓. honestly i see efnisien and caleb clashing just based on personality. ef to faber: really? him? 🤨😒 🤦🏼‍♂️

It'll be interesting to see how Caleb and Efnisien go, they are certainly going to meet one day, though probably not until Underline the Red.

Caleb can talk in a more informal, slightly immature way sometimes, but he's actually a very mature and insightful person. I don't think he'd feel that threatened by Efnisien, especially knowing that Efnisien is with Dr Gary, who like...is his boss and who is also pretty possessive of his partners. I think he'd feel very secure in the knowledge that Faber isn't going anywhere.

But I also think Caleb and Efnisien will meet before Faber and Caleb are a thing again, and so Caleb will just feel vaguely professional towards him, rather than anything else.

I'm looking forward to showing more of Caleb's character. I'm playing with more chapters than people have read on AO3 yet, so I know how the induction between Faber and Caleb goes, and that's where we find out that Caleb actually is pursuing a PhD in Omega Theory and is extremely educated.

Caleb can - quite easily - adjust his personality based on who he's with at the time. Caleb cruising and being seductive at a bar is not reflective of who Caleb is all the time!
