Subtle progress is being made so far today. We cut and put up some cross braces on the roof to help keep the metal sheeting from sagging. Hubs also added some angle boards to the front and back so that we have something to nail the top parts of the walls to.
He's just run down to the hardware store to get a blade or two for cutting the metal as well as some screws.
I'm hoping the roof can be on by the end of the weekend.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss to Appear on “Crossroads”
- Episode premieres 9 p.m. Eastern Nov. 29
If Robert Plant is singing unaided, and it’s unclear if he is, then his performance of “High and Lonesome” for CMT’s “Crossroads” is among his best in recent memory.
Technically a Plant-Alison Krauss number - it appears on Raise the Roof - it’s essentially Plant solo with Krauss, limited to barely audible backgrounds and a touch of violin, a member of the band. That said, the odd couple look to be having a ball as they exchange glances and smile widely at each other while at their respective mics.
The performance video comes from the duo’s episode of “Crossroads,” premiering at 9 p.m. Eastern, Nov. 29.
This surely isn’t the highlight - “High and Lonesome” wasn’t the highlight of the 2021 LP, either. But you can’t expect CMT to give away the good stuff in advance.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss Close Out Summer Tour with Triumphant Show at Beacon Theatre
Tumblr media
Robert Plant & Alison Krauss – Beacon Theatre – September 12, 2022
Pairing a rock musician with a bluegrass-country singer might seem curious at first glance, but famed Led Zeppelinsinger Robert Plant and equally renowned singer-producer Alison Krauss converge to make sweet music. Dubbed a superduo, they first surprised fans with this union back in 2007 with their debut album, Raising Sand. The two have been dismissing any romantic relationship for more than a decade, and Krauss recently described their nonmusical relationship as “happily incompatible.” What cannot be argued is that the musical connection is an award-winning partnership, having won six Grammys as a pair. The lauded duo returned with a follow-up, Raise the Roof, last fall and culminated its supporting tour at a sold-out Beacon Theatre on Monday night.  As with the first album, the sophomore effort is another collection of covers that the two happily performed, opening with “Rich Woman,” a Li’l Millet and His Creoles cover. While a red-satin-shirt-clad Plant took lead on Benny Spellman’s “Fortune Teller,” it was Krauss’s piercing sirenlike calls that wowed the room as her voice reverberated throughout the venue. The two would trade off lead from song to song. In a floor-length floral dress, Krauss accompanied with fiddle and backing vocals on “Please Read the Letter,” while Plant shook maracas on “Last Kind Words Blues.”
The spare original “High and Lonesome” (penned by Plant and T Bone Burnett) elicited claps all around, but it was the classic Zeppelin tune “The Battle of Evermore” that culminated in a standing ovation. Plant and Krauss employed Everly Brothers harmonies, appropriately singing “Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)” before returning to encore with another of the brothers’ hits, “Stick with Me Baby.” And then the rollicking Randy Weeks ditty “Can’t Let Go” put a stamp on the evening. —Sharlene Chiu | @Shar0ck

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss will 'Raise the Roof' with their first tour in 13 years
I was trained to be an accountant when I was a kid. For about the best part of six months, I went to work counting people's money. And I figured if I were to do the same thing with music and just work repetitively with a style that had some legs and feet to it and nothing more than that, then I shouldn't have gone out on this pathway in the first place.

there have been streams where tango and etho have chatted redstone and game development and that's been so so good and so fun to listen to, the way their minds work together and they push and pull with ideas and curiosity.
but then there's the stream today that's like, a first...(other than the little bit of figuring out stat poker and the non-redstone planning of the gaming district in season 7)...where they're completely collaborating on this redstone project together, from scratch. like it's the both of them creating one thing, forming it together as they go, and they just work so well together. aaand have fun!
idk I just love the way they vibe and problem solve together so much. just a great pairing and great equals. it's amazing it's taken till now for a full redstone collaboration like this to properly happen, but I'm so glad it's here now.
