.. that strain again .. and again .. and again ... at this hour of having just finished work .. no work no play .. yes .. began at 7 am and now in completion .. that is and be the essence of day of us that work .. no work no play .. without it , like the sun never came out .. clouded in its translucent obliquity .. 'abrupt and angular but the very' ... aahh forgot those precious words of Hrish Da's brother on set on one of his films .. 'soul of magnanimity and rectitude' .. found it .. yaaaayyyy !

Hrishi Da's film with Rajesh Khanna .. an Indian Becket .. that incredulous film with Peter O' Toole and Richard Burton , playing King and his confidant a commoner , almost .. christenned in the Court much to the dislike of the Church Archbishop .. but what an envious casting and performance abilities of these two giants .. and what a story .. ably adapted by Hrishikesh Mukherjee in the local version of a business tycoon, his empire and his dear friend, whom he has trusted to death and who turns the tide when he discovers the inappropriateness of the labour force that works for his friend's factory and the continued conflict that arises between these two inseparable friends ..

.. the description of the character .. but how mutedly significant in the environment of the day, when the surya devta plays truant ..

o .. lost my thought process .. in the wonderment of the days of this shoot at Mohan Studios .. now sold and converted into a multi storied real estate monstrosity , like many others .. never a word or thought of the massive creativity it encountered during its functionality .. Bimal Roy and his genius, Hrish Da, Prakash Mehra and their huge structured films and so many many others .. lost and gone to the concrete .. but in the memories of archives , now finding it difficult to survive ..

but life and work as I said needs to go on .. each day and enthusiastic run for the glory of the audience- the ones that made and make you !!

Anand may be Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Rajesh Khanna's most iconic collaboration, but it is their second movie Bawarchi that remains truly special.

This gem often gets lost in the blizzard of Rajesh Khanna’s box-office tsunami hits but there’s nothing in Rajesh Khanna’s 15-hits run quite like Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Bawarchi in which Hrishi-da insisted on snatching Kaka’s star power and mystique away from him. At his peak Hrishida cast him in an unglamorous avatar of a cook. The story of the chaotic lot that are the residents of Shanti Niwas. Their family discord and constant bickering are notorious. Raghu’s entry into Shanti Niwas is a major turnaround for the large clan. As he spends more time in the house, his actions impact them, provoking a change of heart for everyone involved.

Rajesh Khanna’s Raghu is not what you might expect from a megastar at the top of his game. Instead of a fashionable gear, he struts around the whole movie wearing one pair of khaki shorts and shirt. There’s no heroine to romance and serenade. Only Hrishikesh Mukherjee could have managed to cast Rajesh Khanna and give him the most un-Rajesh Khanna-like character. Yet, what’s even more remarkable is that Khanna or ‘Pintu baba’ as Mukherjee fondly used to call him, agreed to bow down to his director’s vision. This low budget simplistic film actually proved something that was contrary to what critics have always said about Rajesh Khanna - that his success was due to romantic hero roles, jodis and chartbuster songs.

Rajesh Khanna won his second BFJA Awards for Best Actor for his performance in this film and the movie was the 8th highest-grossing film of the year. Rajesh Khanna revealed his favourite director remained Hrishikesh Mukherjee, who always challenged him to push his acting boundaries.

Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School organised a 3 days Annual Sports Meet for the year 2023-24 based on the guidelines by the Central Board of Secondary Education at Education City Jawanga, Geedam of Dantewada district. It is important for every child to have passion for sports and art along with education.

Various sports competitions were organized for students from class 1st to class 12th in boys and girls categories. 1200 children from 8 houses i.e. Arpa, Pairi, Shankhani, Dankani, Shivnath, Shabari, Mahanadi and Indravati Houses participated actively in different games like 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 meter race, relay race, three legged race, long jump, high jump, shotput throw, discuss throw, volleyball, kho kho, kabaddi.

In the inauguration ceremony, Chairman of School Management Committee Bomada Ram Kowasi and Principal Gopal Pandey unveiled the torch and green flag.
