THINGS THAT HELP ME CREATE A CHARACTERS NAME

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・

Everyone can have the idea for their character.. but what about their names?

Well fear no more—! Here's the things I consider in helping me create my characters names:

COLOR:

Not necessarily the names of the colors, but more so the names of the shades, Lavender, Marigold, Cider, Amaranth.

There are many unique names for the shades, one of them may catch your eye!

SCIENTIFIC ANIMAL NAMES:

This part it's mainly deriving names from animals in general, bet you never thought of that one did ya—?

My example would be one of my characters:

'Psyra Lutie Marcy' from psychrolutes marcidus

just search up your favorite animals scientific name or the characters animal and then find a fitting name for it then wam bam—!

RARE LETTERS:

This is mainly based for names in certain letters of the alphabet that you don't see alot of names start with:

Q, W, R, T, Y, U, O, P, F, etc.

Or perhaps you just know only a few names on certain letters, so you try to search up a name on the letter you think is underrated when naming characters.

HISTORICAL CONTEXT:

Depending on the setting, you can also look into old vintage names this can also apply if the character is named after someone in the story that might be significant or just a thought,

Names like eleneor, Elizabeth, so on.

Wèlp you might as well also name then after a historical figure, Napoleon Dynamite did this and so goes the same with the character Roronoa Zoro.

REFERENCES:

You can name a character out of another character you like or inspired them off by.

Heck you might as well name them after some characters from random you're in.

Freddy fazbear, Sally Face, Franbow.

The names can be from some side character people won't remember but how it can be is up to you.

If you were a pet whumpee, what would your whumper 'loving new master' forcibly rename you?

If you hate what you get at first you may have ONE reroll but no more than that. because pets don't get to choose their own names after all. 🙃

I know some of the names are less dehumanizing than others, but the human names on here were from lists of the most popular names for pets. so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Instant Inspiration Moodboard Generator

YOU CAN HELP GROW THE GENERATOR! Read on to learn how!

Hey there, I'm back with a new generator for you guys!

As I'm sure you know, finding inspiration can be tricky sometimes, even if you, theoretically, have a ton! I was having this issue and it seemed like I just could not choose when it came to my massive list of moodboards when I felt like designing, so I did what I always do and just removed the aspect of choice entirely. Who needs free will anyway?

Unlike other generators, this one chooses from premade moodboards created by human beings instead of randomly selecting each image. Results were taken from impressive collections on Pinterest and Sta.sh, and at its launch contains around 800 different moodboards! That's like, one adopt every day for two and a half years! I'm probably gonna forget to update this description as well so if you're seeing this in the future then expect even more aestheticy goodness.

I made an Evil Scheme Generator, specific to Doctor Who, should you happen to need ideas on conflicts for your fics (or just for fun). It'll choose a villain and their basic goal, and sometimes it'll throw in their motivation or what they use to accomplish their goal. It's got villains from Classic and New, plus a few from books and comics and some generic villain types. I'd love to see any particularly awesome (or ridiculous) options it generates for you if you feel like sticking them in the tags.

I made a new character based off of @shepherds-of-haven characters!

So the idea is to make a character based off of randomized Shepherds of Haven's character's Personality traits, Skills and abilities, Moral Alignment, even hobbies and fashion styles. The color palette could be optional if you want to. So it's like remixing 6 characters into one? At first I thought of including all of IFs characters but I realized that's too ambitious 😂 SoH just have enough characters to do this and I'm huge fan of the game too 💜 This was made just for fun and for me to study coding. Credits to Nick for the template!

Also character portrait was made on Storior.com! because I can't draw which would be fun skill to have for this 😭 Artists can use this as drawing prompts. But for now support independent artists and IF authors/devs! Much love 💜

Just updated my random monster drawing prompt generator!

Use it for inspiration when designing fakemon or other fantasy creatures!

Added show/hide buttons for the text boxes to allow adjustments to how simple/complicated the prompts are. Also added more lists for the text boxes to pull from, including jobs/classes and objects.
