radqueers: it's not r*pe if they don't say no
any person with a single braincell ever: if there's not the option to say no then it's r*pe
Sex is when two (or more) consenting parties say 'yes' to sex without being pressured or feeling as if they can't say no, and they know what they are consenting to. R*pe is when the above definition doesn't happen.
EXACTLY! I don't get how it is so hard for them to wrap their brains around this concept, it is literally fucking obvious.

Randomly got a super pissy DM over something that I have nothing to do with, so that's fun. What is it that people don't understand about "not my circus, not my monkeys." Rape is bad, bro. Completely irregardless of who did it or why-- it's bad. I am not responsible for strangers trauma, don't fucking DM me all pissy that you don't like my nsft content and hate me because oooh trauma. A lot of us have trauma. But aren't going around using it as a free pass to harass strangers and maliciously misconstrue that person's views. You have trauma that makes certain darker kink content triggering? Okay! Block that out of your life! But the rest of the fucking internet (the REAL PEOPLE with REAL LIVES AND FEELINGS on the internet) does not owe it to you to coddle you. Maybe next time block me without throwing a little bitch fit. I don't deserve that sort of treatment from some rando because their feefees got hurt.
Also, again, as mostly an ask to my moots and followers what exactly has turned the taboo of incest into some kind of inherently evil and abusive thing regardless of any actual information about the dynamic. In something like twincest, for example, assuming the two are treated similarly by other people in their lives, who holds the power there and why? Twin A or twin B? I try to approach it from a scientific perspective, but it really truly makes no sense to me, and I do want to be at least somewhat aware or understanding of other people's perspectives. Power gaps within familial or societal dynamics I fully understand, someone who has financial or legal hold over you isn't a viable or safe person to be your partner regardless of relation and even if you're an adult if your finances or other relationships might depend on a person that could be Bad. That aside, though, I Don't Get It. If it's all about power and control, then why does not one focus on that rather than random ick factors on ethics. Ethics are or should be about minimizing harm to people, not about what makes you feel grossed out to think about. So yeah if any of my followers understand this perspective about some kind of inherent power imbalance or something under any circumstance please do tell me.
I'm literally so tired bro, I'm not a celebrity/influencer, you as a stranger don't need to come after me for having different opinions because chances are my opinion matters to very few if not net 0 people. And trauma dumping on a stranger with malicious intent? I'm fully in support of sharing your trauma with friends so they can support you and try to avoid any triggers you may have. But with a stranger in order to make a point? Some people are fucking wild dude. Please utilize the block button instead of harassing people. Not *with* harassing people. Instead of. And leave me the absolute FUCK out of your problems because I don't care and we are not friends. Thanks.

Earthquake - a poem about asexuality, an identity crisis, internet discourse, and the state of California.
CW: Mentions of sewer slide baiting, SA, natural disasters, and death.
My parents were there for the famous Northridge earthquake in the 80s. The one that tore down bridges and leveled buildings.
They moved from Santa Monica- a beach community famous for being the end of Route 66.
Earthquakes are commonplace in California. They're usually small. An inconvenience at most.
There was a warning shock. A small earthquake. Nobody questioned it, aside from being mildly spooked. It didn't do too much damage.
A week later, the big one hit.
The house was rocking and bouncing off its' foundation. Telephone poles swayed and bounced back and forth in a way that seemed to defy the laws of physics. Explosions of power lines and generators were heard across town.
My parents took my siblings and ran into the safest place- the yard.
The earthquake lasted a minute and a half.
Once it ended, my dad could only say one thing.
"I know people just died tonight."
I began realizing I was asexual at around the start of puberty. 13 or so. I didn't have crushes like all my friends. I didn't want to date the coolest new celebrity. Even today, I just can't relate to media like Turning Red. Never had that experience.
I learned the term asexual at around 14 or 15. I came out to one of my friends. They were accepting, and thankfully still are. I went online to find a whole community of people like me. I was so, so relieved I wasn't alone. I wasn't mentally ill, or some medical freakshow.
Arguments are commonplace on the internet. They're pretty heavily memed, but usually small. An inconvenience at most.
There was a warning shock. A small earthquake. Across the net. Despite being recognized for so long, people began to see asexuality in a negative light. It was usually in a "playful" sense- "I'm not like other girls!" comparisons and the like. Nobody questioned it, just assuming it was edgy teens. It didn't do too much damage.
A year or two later, the big one hit.
The little community I found safety in was attacked. Bouncing and rocking off its' foundation.
Horrid things like suicide baiting, rape threats, and violent gaslighting swayed across boards and forums in a way that seemed to defy all logic. Explosions of bigotry in every corner of what was SUPPOSED to be our safe place.
The earthquake lasted a year and a half.
It seems to have finally reached an end. But I can only say one thing.
I know people just died tonight.

dark content is described as content that involves topics such as n*ncon, r*pe, y*ndere, etc. the people that consume & create dark content encourage it, hence why it’s on my dni !

Okay I WILL voice a discourse opinion. Ao3 should monitor and often remove fics tagged both rpf and rape/non-con. I feel like if nothing fucking else, that represents a threat to a real person and should not be hosted on ao3.

if you don't understand the rape allegory inherent to the demon's consuming the dungeon lord's desires and leaving empty, hollow shells of themselves then i dont want to talk dunmeshi with you. the consumption metaphors involves the rape metaphors.
