Ragnor might be dead but he's not gone headcanons
If people can't take him as living the way he was before he was attacked, then this is how it goes to me
Ragnor doesn't go back to hell or wherever they go after death, he instead chooses to follow around magnus as a ghost or spirit or protective laid back gaurdian of sorts
He just keeps floating around only visible and heard by magnus , Catarina and maybe even Raphael.
His constant moods are complaining about how unnecessarily loud people are and repeating the iconic ragnor line at weirdest moments .
He loves to complain a lot but is great at giving advice
He passes the most unnecessary comments when he shouldn't which makes it hard for magnus to control his laughter .... Once he laughed in Alec's face when he was saying something very cheesily romantic resulting in a very awkward Alec cause Ragnor made an inappropriate joke.
Ragnor also loves to tease Raphael about his feeling for a certain fledgling vampire resulting in Raphael glaring at an empty space which makes Simon ask if Raphael is okay .
The only time Ragnor leaves magnus alone is when malec are about to get down and dirty or when magnus visits his club for check ups cause he can't handle all that .
Ragnor definitely is aroace .... It my headcanon (my fav one) he only feels platonic love for his friends (magnus , Catarina and Raphael) but he won't admit it , but it's okay cause others already know and love him back no matter how they fight at times .

It's so hard for me to choose a favourite character because I love them all for different reasons. But, if I really had to choose it'd be Raphael and Jughead because they're aroace like me and helped me realise I wasn't broken and it's okay to feel the way I feel and not want romance or sex but friendships and people to rely on. I really needed that.
I love them both! It’s so great finding characters that help you come to terms with your sexuality, I’m glad they helped you.

OTP: aroace king dont need no man
BROTP: Magnus!!!!! But also I’d like to see Ragnor and Raphael + Ragnor and Catarina. I also just would be interested to see how he’d interact with Maia (I feel like that could be really fun) and Meliorn. Particularly Maia and Raphael, I think. (Especially as Raphael is also ace, and like, in a way is his adopted grandson lmaoo....)
NOTP: Magnus? Raphael? Jace? Idk, most people. I’m not necessarily hardcore against all Ragnor ships but I can’t think of any I’d really like, and I do headcanon him as aroace which means no romantic relationships, so.
Favorite thing about them: He’s a bitch and I love him. He hid in a painting to get away from talking to Clary. What an icon. But despite being a grumpy bitch he still was a great friend to Magnus and wanted to help him :’)
Least favorite thing about them: How little he was in the show, tbh. Just one episode! What the fuck happened after he FAKED HIS DEATH. Because that is what happened. I wanted to see him show up at Malec’s wedding with no explanation, tbh.
AU/Headcanon: He faked his death and showed up at Malec’s wedding with no explanation!!!!!!!!!!
Also he’s agender and asexual and aromantic. He definitely makes jokes about this.
