✧ once put a volleyball next to his child, who attempted to bite it, and took it as a sign that they liked it

✧ after sum time n practice, his mind becomes split between “how to volleyball” and “how to dad”

✧ catch him in the kitchen wearing an apron and whipping up his kids’ favorite smiley face pancakes 😤😤

✧ has an amazing ability to get his kids to stop crying, does really simple things like give them their favorite toy or place a gentle hand on their hand or attend to their needs (mans can tell if they want food or needa poop) and they calm down immediately

✧ carried them on his shoulders once and now they never stop asking him for shoulder rides (not that he minds anyway)

✧ if theres two kids he can probs carry one on each shoulder cuz cmon ,,, have u seen this man

✧ always goes to every performance/game/event his child takes part in

✧ man smiles so soft™ when he goes to the 1st grade play and sees his kid’s name in the program next to their role as “townsperson b” (next year, they upgraded to “singing carrot” in a play about the food pyramid)

✧ if his kid ends up enjoying volleyball, he will teach them e v e r y t h i n g they need to know

✧ but is overall super supportive of anything else his child pursues and doesn’t push anything onto them, would rather let them choose what they want to do

✧ had n o idea what to do when his kid asked him about the birds n the bees asfghkl

✧ very affectionate with his kids, gives them lots of hugs and kisses on the forehead

✧ plays with them a lot! whether it’s sports, just dance, animal crossing, or UNO, yOU NAME IT WE PLAY IT

✧ also has no mercy when playing competitive video or board games,, has made them cry more than once LOL

✧ so sometimes he toned it down n let them win,, until his kids actually got better and DEMOLISH him every time

✧ is cool with his kids cursing, just as long as they don’t do it in front of their teachers LMAO

✧ plays innocent when he gets a call from school saying his kid was using ‘inappropriate language’ and is like “whaaat? my child? im not even sure where they learned that, maybe check if the other kids in class are saying those things, too--”

✧ reminisces how much nicer his kids were to him when they were younger and all the time they spent together,,, bc now that they reached their tEeNS they want alone time

✧ wants to be B) cool dad so he tries kinda hard, esp in front of their friends but his kid’s just like dad pls dofjrgjigtgro

✧ also very supportive of whatever his kids want to pursue and dedicates time to help them in whatever ways he can (whether that be to help them practice, make sure he can provide transportation, get them supplies, etc)

✧ always playfully competing with you to see who’s the “better” parent (you win by default)

✧ PROTECTIVE dad and will easily intimidate ANYONE who crosses his kids

Yeah definitely! This is a really sad prompt and if you’re being bullied personally i’ll teleport to you and attack your bully-

Bokuto

You had been bullied for a while, but you’d failed to mention it to Bokuto because you didn’t want to worry him too much. You had the small mentality of “being used to it” so you didn’t really mind anymore. 

After school one day, it’s actually Akaashi who sees your bullies harassing you and spitting words at you, but when he asks if you’re ok you beg him to not tell Bokuto.

Akaashi begrudgingly agrees not to tell him under the condition that you talk to him or Bokuto if it ever gets too serious. 

Normally they pester you after classes while you’re waiting for Bo’s practice to be over, since there aren’t as many teachers around for them to get caught. 

One day, practice lets out early and Bokuto is looking everywhere for you because he knows you’re lingering around the school grounds, and he turns the corner to see your bullies ganging up on you, laughing while you try and get away from them.

Bokuto literally charges forward, yelling at them to back off and they all panic and flee because Bokuto is Big and they want no trouble with him at all. 

He gathers you up in his arms, squeezing you tight and asking what had happened, if you were ok, if you were hurt? His heart is pounding up against his chest in a panic because seeing you crying just ruins him. 

Through tears you explain that you’d been bullied for some time by them and he gets a little upset you didn’t tell him, but he doesn’t cause a fuss because all he cares about now is making sure this never happens again. 

He’s the most protective boyfriend ever now, basically follows you around like a puppy between classes and until practice. He makes you come into the gym and watch now so they don’t bother you, otherwise he’ll just be too worried during be productive.

Whenever he sees your bullies around he’ll put a protective arm over your shoulder or around your waist to pull you in tight to him.

Ushijima

He’s really blatantly oblivious to anything that may be going on, so hiding that you’re bullied is relatively easy. Well, from him, anyway. Your bullies typically targeted you during volleyball practices, so Ushijima really couldn’t tell. 

One day, Tendou is slacking off from practice and sees your bullies pushing you around, but you don’t see him as you jog away in tears from the laughing harassers. 

Tendou pulls Ushijima aside after practice (and before Ushijima’s second practice) and tells him he may want to check in on you with reserved worry. Tendou doesn’t really say why, because he doesn’t think it’s really his place to say anything. 

Ushijima doesn’t really pick up on why, but he jogs out to where you often study while waiting for him to be done with practice and sees you a little more flustered than usual. When you quickly deny that nothing is wrong, he starts to get a little suspicious that something is, in fact, wrong. But he’s not one to push the issue.

After practice a few days later he decides to visit you again before he works on his serves, and comes across one of your bullies pushing you to the ground and it all clicks, why you had a bruise on your elbow that one time, why you’d been so quiet and sad recently, and he will not have it. 

He really, really firmly grabs onto one of their shoulders and stares them down. “I suggest you leave.” his voice is imposing, deep and threatening as his intense eyes watch their fleeing forms. 

He doesn’t get angry that you didn’t tell him, but he does feel conflicted knowing he couldn’t help you sooner. He’ll probably take you right back home, making it one of the rare times he doesn’t keep going after group practice. 

Silently protective of you from here on out. He’s kind of like a looming shadow of yours when he isn’t at practice, so you essentially never get bothered again. He’ll grab onto your hand when the two of you are walking through halls so everybody knows that you’re under his protection.

Atsumu

You weren’t bullied until you and Atsumu’s relationship went public. The two of you weren’t necessarily hiding it, but the second that he gave you a sly kiss on the cheek before classes started in the middle of the hallway the word spread around.

A few girls in your class were pissed that their favorite Miya twin had dated somebody that wasn’t one of them, so they took their anger out on you. They’d harass you in class, passing notes with cruel messages during lectures or shoving your books off your desk when they rush out the door to lunch.

Mostly you ignored them, knowing it was just petty jealously, but it was a little irritating hearing them cheer so actively for your boyfriend during his games. 

The only reason you don’t tell Atsumu is you’re afraid he’ll treat it as a joke and tease you for being jealous that there’s girls after him. So you keep it to yourself. 

While you’re sitting at one of the tables outside, the girls ambush you, dumping water all over your head and cackling, not realizing Atsumu, who had been looking for you, had seen the whole thing. 

When he goes up to confront them, their whole attitude changes as they quickly try apologizing, explaining it was a misunderstanding, and Atsumu is viciously cruel. “Huh, did’ya really think drenching them was gonna get me to like ‘ya? Fuckin’ annoying pigs.” The girls pale up and flee right after that. 

Atsumu, shockingly, doesn’t tease you besides one quick comment about how you look cute all wet (you smack him.), he just helps you get home to dry up. He mutters a small apology into your hair after pulling you in close to place a kiss on your forehead. 

After this he amps up the PDA in school, mostly to irritate anybody who would give you shit. Unlike before though, he shoots pointed glares at any of the girls he knew were jealous.
