I love how the first thing we see about Suletta in-series - rushing out in Aerial to save a stranded Miroine - is also the truest thing about her. Beneath the malleable puppet Prospera made her, beneath all the self-esteem issues, there lies fundamentally a girl who will unquestioningly give her all to help a person in need. That's why I just can't take a lot of "fixing canon" fanwork seriously.

my issue with those is literally just the attitude behind them 90% of the time bc people should absolutely write all the self-indulgent “what if?”/“being the change they want to see” fanfics they want but that’s what it is….. fanfic

it’s when they arrogantly act like their preferred version of the story is somehow objectively better than the source material and present it as if they’re doing the actual writers a huge favour by ““fixing”” their hard work that it just becomes totally obnoxious

The thing I love about Suletta in the Calibarn js that itso obviously a proof-of-concept prototype. Calibarn has no bits, and thus it can't make use of a Gundam's most distinctive strength. And even with that, and the strain of an unfiltered Score Five, Suletta was surviving solo against an entire drone army.

Imagine what she'd manage in a properly-equipped Gundam like the Schwarzette.
