Too freaked out to actually react. Knew damn well you would hardly take him back but still left the place making sure the affair was done. Please, it won't happen again" Won't hesitate to give you the whole story hoping you believe him when he says things didn't escalate from a make out, he would never allow that. Never mind if you forgive him or not, he'll still look for a way to make it up for you. Savagely ignores everyone else but you since that very moment.

Needs a second to process the information, always knew you'll found out and hates himself for not telling you before. Keeps silence while all body shakes, watching you carefully waiting for the moment you're done scolding him. "I want to fix it" almost sounds as a whisper, not ready to talk but giving his best now there's a chance. Admits everything and asks you not to let your head ramble in fake scenarios. Says "I love you" once and over and over again. It's fine for him if you need some time to think about it, still sends you expensive gifts and love letters until you take him back or ask him to stop. If you give him one more chance he'll just avoid the topic.
