Deconstructed Pesto Salad ~ A Healing Salad You Will Crave (Made of Real Whole Foods & No Salt, Oil, or Sugar)
Pesto is just one of those flavors that effortlessly satisfies. Using inspiration from a familiar sauce like this can be a great guiding point in developing a salads you can't get enough of (that's amazing because you'll wanna fill up on as many plants you can each day!). When you start getting yourself hooked onto the real, fresh foods which will set you up for the best digestive situations possible (i.e. mucusless foods), you will find your health flourish holistically. Health starts in the gut!
Many nutritionists of the day enforce the idea that there are no "bad" foods in the intention of discouraging disordered relationships with food. Unfortunately, it does not help encourage true food freedom and self-love (...and it's just not true.
A lot of processed foods and restaurant-prepared dishes are made to override your brain's satiety mechanisms, while providing little nutrition. It's near impossible to ever have a healthy relationship with meals based on such products). It seems almost counterintuitive as well, in our world of pills and powders, that leaving out ingredients from your diet is not restrictive -- but an essential key to finding health, developing a deep love for real natural flavors, and coming into connection with your hunger drives & appreciation for your body. That's why this salad leaves out salt, oil, refined sugar, and even almost entirely mucus-forming foods (just having tahini used in condiment amounts for your delectable dressing!). Whole, gut-healthy, clean-digesting foods (= mucusless foods!) are not just perfect if food is a complicated factor in your world, it can help to build a body that thrives as it restructures you from the inside out. "Food herbs" (i.e. fruits & veggies) plus culinary herbs are the real foundation for healing. Before you get to using any herbal formulas, fasting protocols, or biohacking tools & supplements, get on a transitional program towards mucusless foods - the difference in your results will be profound. Real healing starts happening when you stop burdening yourself when you ought to be nourishing yourself.
i literally want to make a podcast titled "crimes against tofu" and it will literally just be me bitching about all the different ways people fuck tofu up
This Arugula, Blueberry and Feta Salad with Toasted Nuts is vibrantly sweet and peppery! All the ingredients of the arugula, blueberries, feta cheese, dried fruit and nuts, are all brought together by a tangy balsamic dressing.
Picture this beautiful salad as edible art at gatherings. It’s a feat for the senses, a melody of flavors and a celebration of beauty that nature provides. It makes a lovely starter before a main course.
A typical salad for me include such ingredients baby kale leafs, jalapeños, green olives, 1/2 avocado and parmesan chips. I choose to use fresh products and all of my meals.😍I don’t like to lose any nutrition and it’s consider to be high vibrational!! 😝😝😝
I have been vegan for over 10 to 15 years. I don’t like to eat meat or cheese. 👱🏻♀️So this is what a typical salad for dinner tonight looks like. 🥗

🌈 colorful eats everyday is the foundation to my teachings in gastronomy 🌈 [details of my salad below] I'm writing a gastronomically informed holistic wellness focused cookbook (you can support this project by joining our 'kitchen babes' patreon tier). And it all began with salads.
I was a vegetarian my whole life and interested in health for as long as I can remember...but I never cared for salads. I thought they were something calorie-counting dieters and weight watchers only cared about (following ideologies I never could get behind). Making rainbow salads changed that for me. I have one huge salad a day since that discovery. And I'm always disappointed when I get to the last spoon. Big change.
I have posts on Patreon about making delectable dishes & salads, as well as making colorful dishes. Check our Patreon out via the link in our bio ☺️
MY RAINBOW SALAD consists of: watercress, red swiss chard, carrots, bell peppers, red cabbage, lime (juice and rind), coconut shavings, hemp seeds, thyme, and my special lime-heavy hummus.
And YES, I do actually leave a few unchopped veggies (especially carrots). Because I'm always on my best bunny 🐰 behavior, as i like to say 🤷🏾♀️
Cook your shells according to instructions on the box. Cut up your zucchini, bell pepper, and avocado. Throw those veggies in a big bowl along with the corn, olive oil, lemon, and salt and pepper (to taste). Once the shells are close to being fulling cooked, throw your washed kale in the pot to let it wilt a little. Once noodles are cooked, put them and the kale into a strainer then transfer to your big bowl. Mix everything up and enjoy!
