Late night thoughts

I crave attention from the people around me, always wanting more, but they all seem to busy in their own lives to think about mine. They don't care about the fact that I got my nails painted. They don't care that I got a new dress, new ring, or new shoes. People are too wrapped up in their own worlds to pay attention to the people around them. This is a flaw because you get to know people better when you focus on the little things. Oh, you got new shoes. I love them. Oh you got your hair cut? It looks so good on you. These things shows that you truly appreciate the little decisions in peoples lives, which is a reflection of them. Choices are what define me. Anyway, this is just a 3am ramble, and the moral is: I want someone to truly focus on me like I focus on them. It's exhausting putting in more effort than people give, but that's the cruel reality of our world; people are selfish.

Thank you Lord... For bringiN back my smile... Man yah know..it's been a while.. Took a long time to heal... Walked some grueling miles Fought to get my confidence back... Took climbing over mountains in fact Took 1 to many hits... Left my smile on that car dash... Left my reflection in the windshields glass But that was long ago... Now we've come full circle... Still living Life but with a better perception .. I pray daily with genuine inflection I stake my claim as a walking Miracle No need to prove mys3lf or get hysterical But walk in my shoes ... You would feel something spiritual Beyond any sense of time or natural selection I'm as blessed as they come... te lo juro... I'm no fool on the run... had my years of fun... I've seen my share of impossible outcomes Thanks to my mommas prayers And God's intervention denying all attempts by the defiant one.. on many occasions I've been fighting off some evil shit since I was real young...
